Mickey may be too expensive unfortunately, but would be a solid replacement for van dijk

I thought Van der Ven looked bang average personally. He's even more reliant on his pace than Walker.

Agree with MK van den ven far too reliant on pace, his game reading is suspect.

Van Der Ven gets twisted and turned way too easily prolly because he relies on his pace a bit too much to recover. When Spurs played us at Anfield last season, the guy was getting tied up in knots by Salah zlone. Nope, he needs to prove he can actually defend rather than relying on his recovery pace after getting done.
As for Kudus, I've said it before that he reminds me of a young Sadio. Really, rate the guy BUT I can't see that one happening if we don't sell Salah and/ or Diaz to over pay for him cos WH aren't looking to sell.

Van der ven seems to suffer with hamstring problems a bit like Micky Owen but he does have very good recovery pace.
