I really don't think we have seen the best of Dominic. I think he found it hard to settle in Merseyside as he said he was going home to an empty home. A year on he may of settled and can get on with his private life and have his head on playing for LFC. YNWA.

He needs to raise this with the removal company.
Taking the p#ss really.

Surely one of the posters could invite him over for pizza and bevvies and a few Blackadder re-runs?
23 Jul 2024 15:14:19
Got to love a bit of Black Adder. I reckon Szoboszlai would really appreciate the simplistic beauty of the the German Guns poem.
"BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! BOOM BOOM BOOM! BOOM BOOM! BOOM BOOM! "
"BOOM BOOM BOOM? "
"How'd you guess sir? "

Or re runs of I’m Alan Partridge, with the premise being that it could be worse for Dom, as we were once managed by a Partridge facsimile in Brendan Rodgers.

I would much rather bite my toenails off after I'd stood in dog poo.

If Ikea is good enough for me it's good enough Dominik Szoboszlai.

I know he’s a Liverpool player. But it’s hard to feel sorry for a lad who drives home after training in his Lamborghini and cries in his Mansion because he’s not quite settled In yet.
How’s about he tries a little harder both off and On the pitch and things will look happier for Dom.
23 Jul 2024 18:56:30
Yes, empty home of course, but he forgot to mention the medium hard mattress he was also forced to sleep on. Poor man. Ruined his entire season. ?.
23 Jul 2024 19:10:18
Don’t know why he didn’t go to Trent’s for a sleepover.
23 Jul 2024 19:11:04
ArAy1969 then, he should have visited the nearest Matress Factory warehouse. That would a "laid" the matter to rest.

Loneliness and depression are not only for poor people, they don’t care about your social status.
I sympathise with the poor lad and hope he can develop his social circle soon.
{Ed025's Note - it’s massive to move to another country Ron and uproot your family. Yes the money is great but it’s not easy for you or your loved ones so I do sympathise with the guy I must say. Let’s hope things improve for him..
23 Jul 2024 21:07:51
Oli, you need a break for a couple of days. You're getting the common disease recognized here on this site; "Merseyside ha-ha". In other words, any feeble attempt at humour will do (Ed025 being one of so many examples) . ???.
23 Jul 2024 21:18:08
Ed025, is that a Stradivarius that you're using while playing the lullaby for our poor unsettled rich man? ?.
{Ed025's Note - im just a very caring person ArAy, empathy and sympathy are my middle names mate, just because hes a red makes no difference to me because no matter how much money you have the world can be a very lonely and sometimes cruel place, Everton In The Community taught me that..

The legend Ian Rush really struggled to settle in Italy and was very much a flop - despite being one of the hottest strikers in Europe.
He came back to Liverpool after a very short stay because he couldn’t settle.
Straight back to Liverpool and banging in the goals again.
If it can happen to Rushie, it can happen to anyone.
I reckon Dom would give up his fortune to be happy.
24 Jul 2024 03:58:26
As Rushie himself said when he came back ‘It [moving to Italy] was like living abroad’.
{Ed001's Note - he never said that. Dalglish said it about him and everyone believed it. It was meant to be a joke.}

I thought it might have been someone else at the club that said it but I wasn’t sure and thought I’d put it into the banter. Great line and a nice example of the King’s sly sense of humour which was often missed by a lot of people.
