Richard Hughes reads this site. He made his statement today that we will be active in the market after ed said it would put the fans fears to rest haha. Who knows? If I were in the club and not a player I would definitely use this site above all others to gauge the feeling of the fans.

If I worked at the club looking after transfers I would be concentrating on all the data and metrics I have to hand to make decent purchases.

James Pearce has said Hughes priority this summer is tying Trent down to a new contract.
If he achieves it, it'll kill 2 birds with one stone as we can announce Trent then like having a new signing.

Not sure what difference that statement makes, personally. The club would be derilict in it's duties if there were not already working on signings so didn't need Hughes to tell me that if in fact, he did make such a statement.

You guys can't be satisfied. If the club is quiet you complain about the lack of information.
If they talk you complain about them talking.
Do people honestly think that if he makes a PR statement that all other things go on hold while he does it? Y'all need to learn what multitasking is people at their level are always juggling 7-14 things at any given time. That's just the job.

Exactly Nevada hence, I don't hold on/ hang on to every word people in such positions say. A complete waste of my time, really. I rather focus and watch what they do.
