Where do we think LFC finish in the league IF there are no new signings in the next 7 days. I say 3rd (+ a domestic cup win) .

3rd if we reasonably lucky with injuries. Haven't done enough/ anything to close gap on 2 teams above us but still think we better players than chelsea/ manu / villa who finished below us last season.

If we sign no players, I think we are still good enough but injuries and form are a major factor. I want us to win so I can’t see past top spot. It might be optimistic but why not ?♂️.

We'll lead the pack until a December injury crises in either the CB or midfield department. We'll end up finishing 4th; behind City, Arsenal and a "surprise team".

We have every chance of winning the league. Top 3 will be between us, Arsenal and City but the placings will depend on head-to-head games and who accumulates injuries.
For Slot, getting a CL place should be considered success in his first season.

We have the joint 2nd best squad in the league alongside arsenal.
Grav, maccallister, szoboszlai and gakpo have had another season to bed in. Robertson is back to full fitness, salah is looking like his old self again, Diaz is looking good after his bad injury, all round we look solid, not many players could just walk into the team so new signing or not I see us challenging for the title.

Our midfield is not good enough, Endo out of favour, Grav nowhere near what we need, Jones bang average, hopeful Bajetic can improve if he stays injury free.
Our attack is flawed too, Nunez will miss way more than he scores, I love Jota but he will get injured soon enough, Salah will have a decent season but has lost a lot of his pace.
Defensively, VVD and Robbo look to be diminishing, Wuansah still young, Konate will also get injured soon enough, and TAA will join Madrid next summer even if he signs an extension.
I reckon 4th at best this season.
Would love Varela by the way guys he is a player.
Inacio is the one at CB too, come on red men, pull two boss signings off in the last week.

Lets not forget how many times we were screwed last season by blatantly wrong refereeing decisions. We had players sent off WRONGLY, we had the spurs game, Dokus karate kick, Odegaards hand ball. If these decisions were actually given we'd have been much closer or even won the title. let's not think the position in the table was the real position. These players are capable of getting top spot.

I actually rooted for arsenal once we couldn't win the league ed14. Easy to say its crying but yous didn't win the title either. The more title challenges you have when yous come just short of a city team who seem to get the rub of the green on an off the pitch, the less funny it gets.

Just seems pointless as like I say, every single club could whine about things that didn’t go their way.

I appreciate that but not many clubs who are fighting for the title get as many wrong decisions against them as we did last season though. I can understand decisions that are debatable or open to interpretation but the ones we had against us weren't that.
The point wasn't to whine about it anyway, the point was that we were closer than it looked at the end of the season. If the blatantly wrong decisions went our way, we would have been a lot closer.

Its not "victim mentality" to point out blatantly wrong decisions that could have altered the outcome of our season. That phrase shouldn't even be brought up by a Liverpool supporter as it was something other clubs fans would aim at us for reasons I won't go into.

After injury disasters last year, not improving the squad is a real questionable decision. didn't we have 9 starters out in February?
we can't compete with teams like City with their bench over the long season.

That Diaz one was the worst VAR decision of all time. How can you legitimately score a goal. It’s given as a goal by VAR. And not count on the scoreboard ?

Plenty of other teams have suffered through dodgy VAR decisions, not just us. I’m sure we’ve gained by a few as well.
Take everything as a whole and not just the negative Walter (or VV for that matter) and life will be so much better.
Pointing out all the wrong decisions and how these have cost us, it’s all other peoples fault, is a victim mentality. If you look for negatives you will find them in any walk of life, and it will be a very depressing life if that’s all you focus on.
