Apparently the club are about to open talks with Mo about a new contract (according to the BBC) . Should I be really happy about that or really unhappy that there is no mention of TAA and / or VVD .

IMO there's no way that the club won't offer a new contract to Trent, as good as Bradley is (and from preseason games it looks like Slot sees that Bradley can be excellent on underlapping runs attacking the box when we are in the opposition third), Trent is so central to the Slot system, and his skill set performing that role can't be found anywhere else in world football as far as I can see. Mo too is central to the way we play the first three games, but that's because he can interchange with Trent in that wide right position, I would say the two of them will both be offered new deals. Virgil. I think maybe we should resign ourselves to him leaving probably, though he is my favorite player in this current team I just don't feel like the club will see value in upping his salary.

Mo's been mentioned, after his comments after the UTD match, that's all. I'm sure the others will be dealt with in due time, maybe during or after this international break.

WDW, Trent has said he is not going to play out the contract situation in the media so and rightfully IMO, we will hear nothing about it. As for VVD, we won't hear about it either esp. since Slot already shut that whole nonsense down in one of his prev. pressers. We're all going to have to be patient and .

I am posting here for the first time. The article is one of the best I read about this game.
This game was very pleasing to watch. I feel there was a lot of fluidity in the game.
The win and the clean sheet were the icing.

There was a lot of fluid in the game. Mainly from the Liverpool fans who were wetting themselves laughing at Seven Hag's team imploding in front of their eyes.
Long may it continue.
