What’s the expectations with Chiesa then, anyone think he could play together with Salah?

I think they can play together.
I have high hopes that he will be a decent buy.

Just so long as they play nicely.
I read that FC started as a RW but has latterly been playing as a LW but that he can also play as an AM or CF so I think he is adaptable enough to play in a line up with Mo.

He can play as a 10, a 9 or false 9 but he is not that comfortable playing centrally, he is in a lot of ways a very direct and old fashioned winger who loves isolating fullbacks one on one, beating them to the byline to cross, to cut inside and shoot or deliver a cutback for runners arriving in the box. Because of his relentless work rate, desire to attack defenders, ability to carry the ball from deep, he is actually quite a bit similar to our lucho, though maybe he isn’t as skilful as lucho in small spaces he is a bit better and more instinctive as a finisher in the box. He isn’t so good at combination play with other forwards given he has largely played counter attacking football with juve and fiorentina but I’m sure that can be coached and developed in time. His best position is on the right imo but he is also great on the left, centrally he doesn’t seem to be able to express himself as much but in a more mobile and flexible central role maybe he can be reinvented?

Can play anywhere along the front line. He’ll remind fans of Jota - two footed, direct and so comfortable dribbling at pace.
