with the proposed kit deal with Adidas seeming to be coming back, I wondered what the general feeling as within the club regarding the Nike deal. it was reported at the time to be a mjor move, enabling us to get financial closer to some of the other major deals due to our large fan base. Have the figures not been what the club hoped, we're Adidas simple offering more or was it Nike decision not to continue the contract?

The Nike kits are awful, I am not really one for kits, but I do buy them for my son. His new balance kits are all in better condition than his Nike ones. Hoping Adidas go a bit retro with their kits.

From what I read, Nike was interested in renewing the contract but it seems Adidas offered more. Puma was also interested.

@Walkon79 I loved the new balance kits especially the home kits.

There are so many kit manufacturers out there. Nike and Adidas are the laziest, in terms of variety. They basically produce one kit in different colours for all of the teams under their contract.

And go ghastly and experimental with the away kits.

Would love to see us go left field with a kit designer like Kappa.

I have the third kits from the New Balance years, some funky colours in there, love ‘em.

Yeah I loved Warrior and NB's kits. They were different, especially the away and 3rd kits

Totally agree in terms of Nike and Adidas lacking variety. I think I notic.

Nike and adidas might not be the most exciting in terms of design but in terms of performance they are pretty excellent, they feel good on the skin, move well with the body and the moisture management and breathability are pretty great, also the feel of the fabric to the touch is pretty premium, with the detailing and perforations of the fabric, last season’s home kit looks really nice in the light for that reason.

Design wise though I think Joma, Jako, Hummel and macron make really nice, more old school kits, castore also make very good kits in terms of athletic performance and general comfort while playing……but probably none of these manufacturers offer as much money as Nike, puma and adidas

Sorry, I have a lot of football kits haha.

Note that I am talking about the player issue kits and not the fan versions, which I think don’t fit as nice and which you aren’t going to play football in anyway.
