I couldn't get to watch full match with constant distraction but now feel that it was very much welcome.
Really poor from top to bottom. But credit to Forest and Nuno. They believed they could get something out of it and ended up getting all 3 points.

I've only seen brief highlights, Dracred. I listened to the whole commentary on 5live. Another point of note, and you were there to clarify, was the lack of atmosphere. Our highest PL attendance as well. This isn't a new phenomenon as it's been going on for years, I know. I went to most of the Europa games last season and the atmosphere at those games was superb, only due to the away fans. They were fantastic, bordering on deranged!

Rome I watched on TV and the supporters sounded great to. First half at least. Perhaps the mics were just well positioned. Those who were there will know better.

I missed the game as I was playing football for my own team at the time, and I can assure you I will not be watching that game ever! I'll read Ed's review when it's done and that'll do me. I will however be watching tomorrow night and looking for a reaction though!

Match review - we played like Klopp and Pep were still here from last season. Everything that we started doing in the last few games i. e narrow aggressive defence, being brave in possession, turning and getting at the backline, crossing when we have the opportunity to do it, we literally stopped doing all of it. Back to good old boring keep ball with no flair, creativity, bravery or self-responsibility to go and win the game. Slot and these players need to realise that when you are Liverpool, 95% the emphasis is going to be on you to go and win the game, not just pretend like you should because you have more possession. We carry on like that and yeah we'll get top 4 by boring our way through the league, but we'll win nothing along the way. In short, it was footy like that that made me happy to see the back of Rodgers and happy to see the back of Pep and Klopp from last year. I hope Slot absolutely lost his marbles at the team, especially Salah. No exaggeration the worst game I have seen him produce in a red shirt.

Here’s my review.
Gravenberch played ok.
Becker made a couple of good saves.
The rest were below average.
We made Forest look half decent.
Forest hit us on the break, Becker was beaten too easily.
Salah, Jota and Szob were garbage.
Subs didn’t make any impact.

ed1 - be interested to read your thoughts on the game. I feel like I need to watch it again to see if my initial thoughts are accurate. My memory of the game is that we positioned trent at 6 in that inverted role a lot more than we have in previous 3 games. maybe partly to do with hot Forest set up, but I think the impact of that was the distances between the rest of the team became so massive that we never really got any fluidity going.
I much prefer Grav in that role because his technique and dribbling is better than trent in the middle of the pitch and he can break the lines either via a pass or driving with the ball. I didn't like it anyways and felt it got even worse when we moved trent to 6 after bringing Conor on.
The other thing about it is that it looked more like a single 6, rather than 2 CMs/ CDMs which again I don't think is a stable way for us to set-up and leaves too much for the 6 to do.

Sorry Rome, I was watching on the telly. I'm not from the UK, much less Liverpool, so being able to watch a match live is still a pipe dream for me ? But as Dirty Mic said, the atmosphere sounded alright. There were cheers and songs throughout the first half but it did get slightly more muted as the second half went on.

Sorry for my misunderstanding, Dracred. Being someone who is lucky enough to be able to get to games, the atmosphere isn't what it used to be, I'm afraid, despite there being more people in the ground than there's ever been. This is never more evident than when we come to play sides that we are expected to beat.
