So, it seems like Stefan Bajcetic was fined £500 by RB Salzburg for being late to a training session, and several of his teammates are unhappy with his selection on the grounds of 'sporting reasons. '
I'm going to ignore the latter part because it just sounds like childish griping from entitled players, but the late to training does have me concerned. This is not the first time this has happened to Bajcetic. At Liverpool, teammates have mentioned Baj being late to training and tactical analysis meetings, Gakpo and Robertson most recently.
If he is continuing this behaviour at his loan club, then I have to admit I am concerned about Baj's temperament. The penny should have dropped by now, yet Baj still doesn't appear to show signs of change. Small things like this can affect their development, no matter their technical ability. I mean just look at Ravel Morrison. The world was at his feet, and he scuppered it due to his awful attitude, temperament, etc.
Hopefully Baj fixes this soon because he is quite some player when up to speed.

He WAS quite some player. The season before last. For less than a season.
One swallow does not make a summer. He needs to knuckle down and recalibrate, otherwise he will be just another promising young player who failed to live up to the hype.

I think we need to forget about him personally. A great talent but will ruin it all, his attitude isn't right. If anything he should be turning up early, he's not taking it as serious as he should be doing and if I were the manager he wouldn't be in my team. I would love for him to change it all and sort it out but I have my doubts. Bloody idiot if you ask me, risking it all - a great career (what could be) for what? being a lazy sod? nah I don't want him at Liverpool sadly.
Lol funny thing here is, I'm often very wrong - you watch him come back next year and smash it with us.
Not going to happen. These lads need more discipline - guaranteed he was in stitches to his mates about a £500 fine, it's nothing. Too much money and no passion.

How easily did you say that @Salah. We wrote off an entire last season in the back of “Bajectic is our next Alonso and we need not buy a top DM”.

I saw somewhere that Millie used to stay out on the field after training when he was with us as he wanted to improve his skills with his weaker left foot and he was in his mid-30’s. The examples are there if the youngsters want to see.
I have to say that’s me with my ‘do what I say, not what I do’ head on, as I probably wasn’t overly keen on pushing myself to be better when I was a teenager.

I love your honesty WDW, I was probably the same, or worse. I was terribly lethargic during my late teens.
I hope I wouldn’t have messed up a promising football career but that was never going to happen, not with these knees!
