sgynwa has written an article entitled, Liverpool Review v Arsenal

Just posted up my thoughts and must say they are basically bang on throughout so for that reason and me being narcissistic this is a great article mate!
Do you think Harvey when back can provide similar running to Dom but maybe more quality while Dom is a bit out of form with the ball?

I think that’s a fair review sygynwa.

Elliott can't run like Szob.

Some good points, Pickle.
I like that we came from behind twice.
What stood out for me was the difference in the midfields. Theirs is better than ours even without Odegaard and they have Havertz dropping in, too.
Ours is unbalanced but I reckon it will be addressed. I'm just thankful that Grav is looking half decent in a position that I didn't see him playing.

I saw your review @Pickle and it was a great read, man.
@Sgynwa, great points, as well. The whole "oh, we have so many injuries" was just getting the excuses in early in case they lost BUT when we saw the line up, they weren't missing a single player who regularly does not start for them. Funny that, right?
IMO, there was an inbalance in the midfield cos I think Jones and Macca does not work in the same midfield as they are too similar in nature. Now if you add the lack of pace Macca possesses in defensive transition esp. going against physical players like Rice and Merino then, he and to an extent Jones, will struggle. Notice Szobo came on adding more physicality and pace to our CM and things changed.
At the end of the day, our mentality, determination and self-belief (in addition to our subs and individual quality) got us a well deserved point as I thought we were better in the finel 40 mins of the game esp. since Arsenal started time wasting a lot, something they don't like being done to them, btw. Games are coming thick and fast so on to Brighton and hope our guys who need it, get the rest.

I do think we can cut a bit of slack like arsenal did have 5 midfielders playing yesterday some forced but on the ball party was inverting and havertz dropping in and at times there was a clear 5v3 in the middle which was good tactically by them and I'm not smart enough but there obviously would have been a way to potentially exploit this if we were to replay the game I'm sure slot would have a different plan. But just a caveat that I think this was a large part of why our midfield looked disjointed was that they were simply overrun at times and we didn't have an answer to that on the fly.

Great point, Pickle. I totally forgot they were doing that.

just read your review Pickle, indeed we had very similar points
I think Elliot may bring more quality on the ball, but he doesn't have the running power and physicality of Dom and till date, he does usually seem to play better or have an impact when coming on as a sub than as a starter ever since the injury, so we do need to see how her performs more as s starter
not sure if we have enough for the title this year, but with all things considered, Slot has done an amazing job till date. the football isn't great yet, not like prime Klopp, but it certainly is an improvement from the footbore we did play for large parts in the past 2 years.

@Sgynwa, I think it's way too early to be talking about title this or title that cos clearly we are still a work in progress. Im not falling for that banana in the tail pipe, for sure.
We still have things to fix in our team one of which (and no one is talking about this enuff), we are having great difficulty finding and feeding our CF's sith consistency service in menacing positions and Slot mentioned it after the Bologna game.
Darwin has been feeding on scraps for the past two PL games and the only real service he got v Arsenal led to his assist for Mo. That has to be improved upon and that is just off the top of my head.
