Decent result away at Newcastle. We were always going to drop points somewhere. We're still 7 ahead. Imo slot still hasn't grasped the physicality needed in the Premier league especially at Newcastle away. Such a shame he won't give endo a chance. Suited for games like last night. Gravenberch is going to burn out before the end of the season.
Also on the third gial5, kelleher got some amount of stick. Yes, it was a mistake to leave it but schar should never be allowed to be free to shoot. Trent allowed scharr to run off him and freely shoot. Both kelleher and trent at fault for the goal that cost us 3 points. Regardless both have been excellent for us this season so I'm not bothered by it.
We need another 6,January I'm not sure it's possible?

It was a standard catch by any keeper. Appreciate you use any opportunity to have a go at Trent but you’re reaching here, even for you. Kelleher should have just collected it and then fell to the ground like every other keeper does to waste a bit of time.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know why anyone is bothering to reply - he is just trolling with sad pathetic attacks on Trent. It is tedious and he is embarrassing himself with his ridiculous attempts to blame Trent for everything.}

Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, we have very little quality in depth for the centre midfield. Gravenberch and MacAllister looked knackered. We should have strengthened in the summer, but didn’t, we should add in January, but won’t. This will likely cost us a title.

It only caused us to drop 2 points. Don't exaggerate.

Ed01, I thought @MIZER started out okay until he went all rogue with the whole "Trent should have done this or that" stuff. I have NO idea why or how people can look at that play and blame anyone but Kellerher.

I meant the guy came out put his hands up like he was going to catch the ball (something that froze every one on the pitch and in the stands but Scharr) and then just, let's it go. Crazy stuff.

Hard to reply nowadays but.
Kelleher was solely at fault. He has been great, but Allison doesn't concede 2nd or 3rd goals of Newcastle. The third is a habit. I believe Chelsea ir arsenal he did similar and again player stole in behind but could not get enough on ball. Learning curve, perhaps but he shouldn't replicate that one .

MIZER likes to run down Trent cos he loves Conor Bradley and wants to have his children. Therefore Trent bad.

That's it. There's no depth to it.

Trent? ? Kelleher should’ve just caught the ball instead of gifting them a goal.

I don’t understand what people have against Trent; we only started creating meaningful chances once he came on.

Apart from Kellher’s howler, Robertson was really poor yesterday. He kept giving away the ball in dangerous positions and overhitting passes that were hard to control. It was a game to forget for him. Even the free kick that led to the equaliser was a byproduct of Robertson unnecessarily losing the ball while trying to burst forward. The lad definitely needs a bit of rest—wonder when Tsimikas is coming back!

No matter what people think of Endo, I will never forget how immense he was in the League Cup final against Chelsea, how he dominated Arsenal’s much-vaunted midfield at Anfield, and how he had a really powerful game against City at home. Endo hasn’t had such an awful year last season that he doesn’t even get a look-in, especially when some of the other lads are visibly exhausted.

At half time, I was would have been happy with a draw. But after we scored the 3rd and kept creating decent changes, the loss felt like 2 points dropped unncessarily. But having let emotions settle down a bit, I agree with a lot of posters that a draw away at Newcastle isn't a terrible result. Now comes Everton and I hope we aren't losing any points there.

ViktorVaughan-We just spent over 100m on 4 new MF players last summer, after bidding for Caicedo too.
We also had a verbal agreement with Zubi, before he was convinced not to move. What more should we do, drive to Atlanta and kidnap Ederson?

Id like to think we will spend in Jan, if the right players are available (i imagine Zubi may well be available, along with Bade and a decent left back) .

Both of the big titles are there for the taking this season.

I think it's a measure of the improvement in Trent's defensive work this season that the wolves haven't come out storming for his head for letting Scharr ghost past him. It certainly would have been nail in coffin for Trent if this happened last season lol.

Perhaps we're subconsciously prepared to give Trent a little rope as he has definitely improved.

On the real tho, the 3rd goal shouldn't have happened but it did.

The way bradley performed v RM I was like who needs Trent go if you want. ( I wasn’t dissing Trent I was praising Bradley) But v city some of the passes only Trent can see and pull off I was like naaa I’m only kidding, hope he stays he is in the top 3 to come out of our academy ( god, Trent, stevie) some people are daft and you can tell that with there views.

@Victor, with that cheerful outlook on things you should be up at the North Pole helping Santa get ready for the big day (opening of the Jan transfer window, of course) .
