Why don't the clubs in the premier league just hand over the keys to the players they are dictating what happens anyway.
Look at the red club down the east lancs they have players allegedly on 400 grand a week and don't even want to play for them sitting on the bench.
For me this has gone too far. footballers wages have now become untenable when people are struggling to live. It needs to be addressed after all they are kicking a football around the park not saving lives.
If people come back at me saying they give entertainment and enjoyment, yes they do, but does that really justify 350/ 450 grand a week? Not in my eyes .
I want MO, Virg, Trent to stay of course I do but not at the detriment of Liverpool football club and the fans because to pay these big wages inflates all the prices for merchandise, tickets ect who will it fall back on? us the fans.
In my honest opinion the club should make the three players an offer if it is declined then so be it as i have heard many times across the years following Liverpool fc when players want more money or want to leave, the club that no one is bigger than the club .
Footballers come and they go I have been lucky enough to see many of the very best footballers ever to wear a red shirt that were paid a pittance to today's players they did not hold the club to Ransome and for clubs like ours to keep having to pay big wages will only end up one way, a super league and as fans do we really want that? i know i don't do you reds?
My final point is yes the three lads have been great for Liverpool fc but look where they came from; Virg from Southampton, Mo from Roma and Trent academy. it was Liverpool football club that made them the super stars and there will be players at other clubs who if they came to our club would be possibly turned into super stars again and once again NO PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB .
End of rant.

I can tell u its our tactics and midfielders that make players (forwards, defenders) look good.
In the years that legs were gone from Henderson, Fabinho, Milner. our defence and attack are like shxt.

I don't agree with footballers making huge weekly sums, but to put it into perspective, the CEO of Bet365 earned £158m last year, down from £221m the year before. That is salary only, no dividends. That's about £3.5m per week. Now, obviously this is an extreme example, but my point is the average CEO salary in the UK is over £4m a year. Then you have F1 drivers, investment bankers etc. I agree footballers are over paid, but in the grand scheme of things, only a tiny percentage of the entire footballing pyramid in this country makes those eye watering amounts, which isn't too dissimilar to other industries such as business, banking etc.
People in the world will always struggle to pay the bills and certain people will always earn huge sums of money, regardless of their industry. It's the society we live in and to be honest, I say fair play to them. If I was earning that amount, I certainly wouldn't complain.
