Ok hold on folks
I really don't care about the Zubimendi thing he didn't want to come . ok fine .
My issue has always been lfc speed of transfers an process
But . my BIG question is . why is there no resistance from the club then when Arsenal come in for him . but he practically bought security to stop Zubimendi from going to Liverpool! Explain that!

I thought you didn't care about the Zubimendi thing.

I don’t I want to know what the club owner and not the first time pulls out all the stops when lfc come in
But Arsenal it’s all fine and dandy.

Hope we don’t go back to spending vast amounts on agents fees to get deals over the line.

Resistance from who, Sociedad? Because in the summer they had very little time to find a replacement, if a deal is agreed now for the summer they have plenty of time. How is that not obvious?

Arsenal already tried to sign him last year and were rejected by the player. Maybe we just moved on from the player and sociedad knew that he was going to move in the summer so arsenal felt there was a deal to be done ahead of time.

Let's fix the obvious holes in our first 11 (left back and striker) before spending money on squad depth. Zubimendi is a luxury player with Grav and Szabo's upturn in form this season.

@Redrebl1, I propose you direct your grievances to John W. Henry for comment cos safe to say the guy doesn't read these pages nor know who that football you nor I, are.
Also, why would we "pull out all the stops" to sign a player who openly rejected us for the whole world to see and banter us for?
In addition, the guy rejected Arsenal initially BUT seemingly, Arsenal went back in for him and he said yes. Could it be cos we were never going back for him and the Gunners was his only exit route out of Sociedad?
IMO, I think you're just peeved cos the guy went to Arsenal cos had RM or even City got him, not sure you would care as much even tho, you keep telling us you don't.

And his mate Merino is there.

Apparently Odegaard, Merino and Zubimendi all played together at youth level, along with Isak.
Plus Arteta is Basque.
Sometimes we have to accept we are not the big draw we think we are.

LB and striker are our problems now? lol
i always thought it was LB and a CM to rotate with Gravenberch.
i find it incredible this team is challenging for anything with 8 or 9 of the starting line-up need replacing.
