McConnell and bajetic are not classed as homegrown in the squad because of age and actually not in the squad.
Dont think Elliot and Quansah are classed as homegrown either yet due to their age?
So technically only two home grown player leaving in Trent and Gomez.
But bringing in two home grown players in Joao Pedro and frimpong.

That doesn't solve the issue of squad depth and will merely just cause the same issue next season of 'fatigue'. Why strip away squad players like quansah, Gomez and Elliot.

Lukeba would be an awful replacement for Van Dijk, he’s relatively small for a centre back, lacks the physical presence to dominate attackers, is poor in the anur and is injury prone.

I wouldn’t go near pedro. Not good enough and if we sign cunha similar players. Would prefer someone with electric pace to join the attacking line as we are lacking that with an aging Salah and departing Nunez.

I don't remember any team in history streaking away at the top of the league that needed whole chunks of the squad replacing.

But slot doesn't use the squad flash which is why we look out on our feet. So either Slot is right and the squad players are not good enough and need replacing for players he trusts or Slot has gotten it wrong in some decisions.

I mean name any winning squad that doesn't need changes? We're clearly the best team (on our day), but we have huge gaps in the squad.
No way can we rely on what:
robertson/ tsimi at left back
Quansah and gomez as our CB back up (assuming we don't lose VD)
just bradley if TAA goes at RB
only Grav as CDM as he refused to play endo,
Nunez and djota as our strikers.

@Red, Slot has us 12 points clear at the top of the PL. He sees the players in training every day and is better placed than anybody on the forum to judge who is going to do the best job for the team. I think at the point when he took up the role he said he wanted to assess the squad he had inherited. It seems to me that some of the squad players will be moved on and replaced with players who are more suited to what he wants and who will improve the overall quality of the squad for the way he wants to play. I think that there may be a fair bit more rotation next season.

Virg and Mo - must extend.
1. Replace Gomez with Huisen.
2. Replace Tsimikas with Kerkez or Hato (depending on what profile Slot is looking for) .
3. Replace Darwin with Ekitike or Cunha (depending on what profile Slot is looking for) .
4. Replace Lucho with Kudus or Gordon.
5. Replace Chiesa with Malick Fofana.
6. Replace Jota by promoting Danns
7. Replace Elliott (if he decides to leave) with Mastantuono.
You cannot replace Trent. One of Vanderson, Wesley, Geertruida could be options or even this impressive Feyenoord youngster, Givairo Read, might be a cost effective backup to Bradley.

Kerkez will not be moving to Liverpool frankly it would be ridiculous. Cunha is the main one I would want hard working scores goals and has an immense skill set. Hopefully he can keep his head a lot more and not act a prat.
I can’t see any others you have mentioned signing. Robbo definitely should not be a starter next season guys a liability. I’m confident the powers that be have an idea of who to bring in. We definitely need Nunez and Jota to leave getting paid for not much output.
