Out of the following 3 which one player would you pick to join us this summer.
1) Isak
2) Alvarez
3) Cunha.

It was Cunha until i read a stat about how he has walked 75.2% of his minutes in the PL this season. (not jogging but walking)
the other 2 are out of our budget. so i don't know.

Isak would be my choice but not for money Newcastle want for him. Cunha would probably be my choice given Alvarez missus wanted out of England apparently. Decent release clause and a fine player if he can keep his temper.

I think Isak is the best player by a decent margin. But injuries are a bit concerning. If he would stay fit on a very regular basis, then there's almost no question it's him.
Cunha is probably best value for money but comes short a lot rather than run in behind.
If Salah stays, I think Cunha might be the best fit as he would make room for Salah to run in behind ala Bobby style.
If Salah goes, I'd go for Alvarez because he is also a great player and runs in behind more.
Isak is a bit high risk for me given the amount we have to pay and injuries. It's one of those for me, he stays fit for next five years, we re idiots for not taking him. He doesn't, we dodge expensive bullet.
I would personally not take the risk and take one or the other of Cunha/ Alvarez depending on Salah.

If Salah stays then, he will still be the main man which may render Isak ineffective cos well, he would be the main man cos he will cost that much. Up to Slot to make it work.
Now if it is not Isak (which I think it won't) then, Cunha.

Interesting stat that Kurt mate
We’ve tired Salah alongside a 85 mill striker whose skillet is apparently causing chaos so I can’t see why we can’t try Salah alongside a 120 mill striker whose skillet is scoring goals.
It’s said we won’t pay that much for a striker but didn’t we also bid 115 mill a couple of seasons ago for a Dm.
Interesting window for definite in the summer.

At Newcastle, all dirty work are done behind him and he feeds on them. He needs service.
Same here. We should look for a proper poacher type who is skilled enough to hold and bring others to play.

Davey, Isak has played 25 times this season and 30 last season. 22 the year before. His record is definitely better than I thought too. I'd be wiling to take a punt on him for sure.

Cunha for me too. With wingers cutting in, Cunha is the better player to drag defenders out of position, a la Firmino. And that was the real chaos.
