Personally I think delap is worth the £30m. Plenty of talent to work with just needs the right coaching team to shape it.

There's been plenty of slow strikers in the premier league but have been goal scorers.
If Delap came to Liverpool had no injuries and sensible playing time there's no reason he couldn't hit 20 prem goals a season which is more than some of our current team are capable of.

Being reported that his clause is apparently £40m Ed001, but drops to £30m if Ipswich are relegated.
Tabloid websites, so they may be getting confused with the Man City clause, or the Man City clause may drop even lower upon relegation.

For £30m would have been a good low risk Prem ready squad signing. Im of the opinion that both Jota and Nunez have to go so at that price would have made sense.
