So, what happens to Trent's mural? Who's house is it? Who decided what went on it in the first place? I reckon it should stay and the quote gets altered, so it reads "I'm just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream has just come true - to go to Madrid. "
{Ed078's Note - 20 years he was at the club. We don't own him.

Couldn't agree more ed78
20 years and some amazing memories
Thanks Trent wish him nothing but success.
{Ed078's Note - exactly. Life's too short.

Life's certainly shorter to support real madrids success and any real Madrid player.
Let's focus now on our own club and hopefully we sign some great players in the summer.

Yeah. People need to let it go. Just let it go. We live longer when we do.

It’s going to be replaced with a Van Dijk one over the summer I’m lead to believe.

Hopefully now that all the "smell" has gone for good? has been the pre-cursor for the imminent arrival of Rodrygo to come the opposite way with no smells attached, and was also hopefully the reason we did not go for Marmoush.
Rodrygo in, TAA out who would not disagree with that!

I'd rather have Trent than rodrygo. To be honest I don't even think rodrygo is that great, good player but Trent I would take 10 times out of 10.

I read that Anfield Wrap commissioned that Trent mural. I assume it will get replaced over the summer. Perhaps a fresh one for Virg and Mo would be good, lifting no20?

The mural should be replaced rather than defaced.
Arnold is no more than a footnote in the clubs history, he’s not a legend and he’s made his choice. He’s no better than the likes of Owen or McManaman.
{Ed001's Note - who is the worst of the players that we had, that left under a cloud? Suarez has to be up there, going to court to try and force a move to Arsenal, lying to Dalglish and causing so much trouble Dalglish ended up losing his job and then biting someone (again) to force a move. That is far worse than Trent did.
Then Souness, left for money, then later came back as manager and ripped the club apart. Worse, he sold his story to the S*n while manager of us, knowing what they did. That is far worse than Owen and McManaman.
So why is it only some players get hate and not others?}

I think if there were a league table of arse holes Suarez would likely be top for his accumulated works, quickly followed by Diouf. I think Suarez and Coutinho don’t get as much hate for a few reasons, Ed, one is the fact we got paid a lot for them, unfortunately money talks, but also they’re not local lads so don’t really have any connection, you kind of expect South Americans to harbour ambitions of playing for Madrid or Barca, comes with the territory, I think the expectation is higher of someone born and bred in Liverpool (whether that is fair or not is another issue), particularly one who says their only ambition was to play for the club and be captain, then say winning trophies at Liverpool means more, in a way his own words have held him to a higher standard than the others, including McManaman and Owen, who are both toffees so you expect shady behaviour (Ed025 exempt btw) .
