It’s very unlikely we get Wirtz. We just haven’t done a deal of this magnitude. This is the game changer but I have no faith in the club to really make it happen. Just hope Slot can charm him.

Mark, that may be true BUT there is a first time for everything. We tracked Mbappe for years BUT it was always his plan to go to Madrid. The fact that Wirtz is considering LFC this strongly means there is a good chance. At the end of the day, that is all we can ask for as nothing is guaranteed. Fingers crossed.

People get too attached to what some of the journos say as if it’s gospel. Lynch just shared his opinion, that many on here had mind you, that Frimpong’s skillset might not be what we’re looking for. And he was wrong. It’s not like he said the club absolutely are not interested and won’t sign him.
