I just don't understand booing as a reaction to a player leaving or even an ex player especially if they played their part in success, I just don't I find it pathetic really.
No player and I mean no player is even as close as big as his club it is a team sport and every player can therefore be replaced perhaps not always as a like for like and it could be a collection of players that replace the gap (e.g. style and formation changes) . But a player should be respected foe what they contributed and what their personal desires and ambitions are. Put yourself in their shoes.

Is the TAA nonsense being resurrected again here?

Question is did you boo?
If you didn’t then good on you but fans will always have their own opinions.
Personally I didn’t boo but plenty around me did and it didn’t really cause any kind of reaction in me.

Noone wants to talk about a real Madrid player or any player that's choosing to leave yet here you are bringing it up again. We've won the premiere league. Are you related to him or something? Very frustrating yet again he's being brought up. Sunday is about celebrating winning the Premier league.

I just don't get the entitlement. Yes, players can do whatever they want with their careers but fans aren't obliged to hero worship them forever more. Could you imagine if a prime Giggs or Scholes had done what Trent did? United fans wouldn't have had the chance to boo as Fergie would have dumped them in the reserves months ago.

It's neither "hero worship" nor "villain hate". It's people being people. I just read and mentally move forward. "And the beat goes on".
