I know it meant nothing yesterday but the experiment playing dom deeper failed dramatically, he was absolutely appalling, definitely need something else when maccas not playing, hopefully Bajcetic can fill the void because the answers not dom.

Gravenberch even worse. I see people are calling out VVD for the goal we conceeded. Its a massive lol. Bradley trying to pick salah, Salah lose the ball and we just didn't have anyone infront of VVD / Konate. As good as Gravenberch is with the ball he isn't defensive nor has any positional awareness. If we had somneone in the deeper role, Bradley would have picked him instead of trying to pick Salah.
Bajectic is not the Answer, We Need to get the next Fabinho / Rodri.

I think he was trying out grav dropping into defence and dom dropping into gravs position but this will work better when using frimpong, kerkez and wirtz. He was testing it at the Brighton game also but this is the best time to try things because the league was already wrapped up ?.

Kit made all the difference in our chances of winning the league eh? It was an end of season kick about with two teams who have recently won major prizes and were just fulfilling an obligation to play the match.

There was nothing to takeaway from yesterdays game in my opinion from a performance perspective, other than Endo being an absolutely unreal professional and a far better CB than people give him credit for just because he's only 5ft10. Everyone else was not at the races and were clearly just waiting for the trophy lift. Don't try and over analyse a performance off the back of nobody training properly for 4 weeks (Alisson literally said they've not stopped partying) and everyone just wanting to avoid injuries so as not to ruin their holidays. It was a dead rubber for us, and we still came back to draw with 10 men against the FA Cup winners, who actually had league positions to play for. Just enjoy the moment and stop looking for negatives mate!

Absolute nonsense Harry. The only ball that was on for Bradley was up the line but he should’ve gone longer.
VVD was in the leftback position having a chat with Robbo leaving a huge hole through the middle. That goal had nothing to do with Grav whatsoever.
Grav is still learning the DM position and has just won the Young Player of the Year doing it. Just because you were crying that you wanted a new DM last summer you are now trying to justify that you were right all along. Pathetic.

You could immediately see the stability when Endo came on. I am not his biggest fan but that is what a deeper midfeidler brings. You absolutely need soneone who can read the game and danger, someone who is alwaays an option for a pass for your center backs and full backs. All three of Jones / Grav and Szobo so far up ahead yesterday. meaning Bradley ahd no option other than to pick Salah or square it back to Allison.

I thought Endo looked good in possession yesterday and poor out of it.
Konate and Bradley must have passed it to Palace players more than they passed it to LFC ones and it looked like Virg was in the stands taking photo opportunities when they scored.
All in all it was a nothing game and atmosphere before and after the game was incredible. Onto another day now of celebrating the open top bus tour with hardly any sleep.

I was about to point that out too MK. Endo came on and played CB but yet, his aura was so great that he provided stability in midfield as well. Only in Harry's universe does that make sense.
