yeah, i know, let's leave those crisps on the bench, but whe fit thou. some player. Still remember his iciest than ice pen against Chavski in the Champions, and Mourinho just sank. as an aside Joe Cole missing in last kick in champions, the most dramatic, and I truly mean dramatic shot against us in over 35 years of supporting LFC.

Never forget Agee’s screamer against West Ham. What a player.
Shame that osteopathy was not widely recognised as being beneficial back then as it would have extended his playing time considerably.

Agger would have been a top world class cb if it wasn’t for injuries.

I don't know what a Slot CB is. Van Dijk is one but he'd be most manager's CB.
Agger was alright, a bit lightweight and injury prone but he wasn't top class and nowhere near van Dijk's level.

Very good passer of the ball, comfortable stepping out of defense and carrying, good in the air, positionally decent, physically strong. He was a good player when fit and had the traits of a modern center back, he was a bit slow off the mark though, which would rule him out of being an elite center back in today's game. I guess in terms of playing style the most similar comparison might be matip? Out of the two you would have to say that matip was the better player, though.
