Something crossed my mind while in this heat (UK) .
With the game going ahead on Sunday.
Do we expect Wirtz, Frimpong and Kerkez to play?
Reason I’m saying is because of the sponsorship deal, we haven’t given any of these players official numbers yet. Because we know when the adidas kit drops. They will get there numbers and we will start selling.
But there is no point when the sponsorship is about to change.
We know that Nike have extended their deal until the end of July if I’m right; Adidas will then take over.
So I assume we will play wearing last seasons kit.
If the 3 new signings do play, will they be allocated a number do we think or play without one altogether. Or just given any number?
It’s just ended up a little messy with how the shirt sponsorship has gone when Covid hit.

It will be mostly kids and some senior guys I would think.

Pre season was delayed, they started back on Tuesday.

We might just go old-school and play in 1 - 11 until we launch the new kit. Or issue temporary number like with kids e. g. 90-99. One thing is for sure - we won't be not playing new players and hampering their prep for the new season because we are waiting for the new kit to launch.

When will we be able to purchase the new kit all 3 of them as the money is burning a hole in the purse of my wife . don't want her getting a new pair of shoes till afterwards.
