Lots of very unreliable accounts reporting that salah has already agreed to go Saudi next year, with a large fee being agreed. I get that he is irreplaceable but it seems a lot like there may be a nod to his departure with the signings we are making. He will eventually go I know, but shows no signs of slowing down - would £100m or so next year be too good to turn down, if it hypothetically be available?

If 100m is offered next summer you’re snapping their hand off though.

100m is definitely too good to turn down but I doubt we'd be getting anything close to that for him.
Like Robbo, I think Salah has deserved the right to choose what he wants to do next. I'm alright with him running his contract down and leaving on a free or if he wants a transfer next summer.

If Salah has another goal scoring season this year like last he will be going nowhere he will be looking at at premier league and Liverpool goal records.
He will need 3 season like last season to be right on top of them so if it was just money Salah would all ready be over there.

I know it was only a friendly, but the other day he just looked on another level to everyone else.
He’s still easily our best player and until that changes, Salah will be a Red.

I think his goalscoring will slow down. Which shouldn't be an issue if we had Isak and Ekitike but his playmaking is world class and he should get a ton of assists.

Imagine Salah did go next season and Arsenal have another season without winning anything and Arteta got sacked. could we try for Saka?
Probably a likelihood of about 1 in 1000 but worth the question, surely it'd be easy for him to see how he'd fit in!

I do think if he scores say 30 goals each this season and next he will stay another year, he would be on Rushies heels.

We should be wanting Salah to finish his career here, an all-time legend of the club. Just had his best season, is here again next year and were already thinking what we can get for him in 2026.Players like him and Van Dijk should retire here.

I've been reading on here every summer since Salah signed how he is definitely off to Madrid or Barcelona in the transfer window.
Yet he's still here, and still breaking records.
It'll be interesting to see if he goes elsewhere eventually or decides to hang his boots up when he's done here.
He clearly loves the club and is living the dream, anywhere else he goes will be a big drop off.
