Has anyone ever done the Anfield Stadium Tour and Museum? My brother and I are going to Liverpool for the Arsenal match and are thinking of doing the Stadium tour. What's it like?

It's been a while since I've done it (2006?) and it was good. I can only imagine that it is even better now but getting to stand with the CL trophy back then was pretty special!

Last time I did it we’d just won number 6 so it was a while ago but I’ve always enjoyed doing it over the years.

Well worth it, especially if you’ve never done it before.

i have done it twice once quite a few years ago and one 2 years ago, its worth doing if you are going there, its really interesting for some of the History and the guides are pretty good, you get to look at the trophies and changing rooms etc, go for it YNWA.

I did the tour on Monday, took my son for his first Anfield visit ahead of the games at night.
Both really enjoyed it and well worth checking out.
Carragher even walked past as we sat on the Kop, and was happy to stop for a few pics (presume this was a bonus and isn't laid on for every visit! ?)

Worth noting you don't get to visit the dressing rooms if visiting on match day, but all else included. Even wandering round the outside of the ground was fantastic if you're not lucky enough to live in the area, Champions wall, Hillsborough memorial and the Jota tribute area, as well as benches dedicated to some of the club legends, are all free to visit without tickets needed.

I did it about a year ago with the legends package. Got a QnA with John Aldridge then a Stadium tour. Very good. Also did the abseiling which I'd highly recommend. Great behind the scenes access to the roof of the stadium!

I finally done it last year when I brought the young lad to his first game. I get over from Ireland 2/ 3 times a season but never done the tour until last season as usually I'm over on match day or day before and either flying back the next day and too hungover. Well worth it especially if you've kids my little lad was 5 but absolutely loved it. Seeing the changing rooms / trophies / pitch etc. Decent set up.

Last time I did the tour was Dec 2013 for my 30th and it was awesome. Would love to go again though with the new developments that have happened in recent years. You'll love it!

I was wondering the same about the tour. We got tickets to the Everton match through hospitality. Says we can get into Anfield 3 hours before the match and my wife mentioned doing the tour.

The feedback is appreciated.

Do the boot room tour as well. It's a fun day!
