Would we all take Guehi and seems its all but confirmed the YLFP, if it means Konate is sold this summer.
That or Konate stays and leaves on a free next year and we coup Guehi on a free next summer?
All hindsight of course but if you could bank the 2 above and secure 40m say for Konate. What would everyone’s thoughts be?

Konate signs a new contract and we have 5 CB options for the new season. That’d be my choice, is that an option?
(YLFP U21 for Prem, MG HG for Prem, JG HG for Prem (CT for Europe? ) ) .

Would you rather that Ed? Guess it isn’t our money in hindsight but would be a killer again to see another valuable asset leave for nothing near enough the same as Trent. Albeit if we did win number 21 or number 7 i wouldn’t probably be against it mysef tbh.

Either sell Konate now if he won't sign for £40m
Or keep him, he helps us won't the league again bringing in circa £175m in prize money. It's a gamble but losing a starting CB Vs keeping him and having a stronger chance of success isn't always letting him go for free next year. We would potentially be financially better off.
Any way personal opinion, not itk in any way, is he signs and stays on helping us to many £175m prize funds going forward ?.

I wouldn't sell konate at this stage, that would be 3 crucial players leaving your league winning team, trent, diaz and konate.
I would guess all 3 played 75% of our league games and played v well in most part.

Who partners VVD? Who replaces VVD in couple of years? I’m hoping Leoni is indeed the real deal but even if he is if Konate goes and VVD clearly does after 2 years we are going to need another - that’s not Guehi IMO.
