If Gomez can stay fit then I don't see the need for Guehi. It's a big if though. VVD, Konate, Leoni and Gomez is an upgrade on last season.

A fit Gomez for me is an upgrade on Guehi but like others have said he’s never fit. I am really hoping Leoni shines and becomes our 3rd choice this year and that if Guehi is bought he is more than just a semi-safe pair of replacement feet.

Gomez last league appearance was in Dec 2024.
Some players get ridiculed for their injury records and others a blind eye turned.

Yes city chelsea liverpool all want guehi but of course he is not enough as per fans. Sounds about correct.

I do think Guehi is good enough however IF gomez stays fit then it's an unnecessary signing in my opinion.
