Steve Parish has moved the goal posts again trying to encourage a bidding war/ higher price for Guehi.
Player has agreed a move to Anfield, a fee was agreed, should be pretty straight forward from there. BUT a and change of heart from the infamous Spice Boy has created a runway excursion.
I don't think the media have helped one bit by publicising how much of a 'bargain' Liverpool are getting.

I don't think Palace or Parish needed the media telling them how much of a bargain we were getting.
Guehi has a year left, it seems he's willing to move on and Palace don't want to lose him for nothing.
It's common knowledge and people are not just finding this out in the media.

If Guehi only wants Liverpool, then there's no bidding war possible. If he's keeping his options open, we can move on to another target.

It was alarming to see Curtis Jones towering over Guehi the other day. A lot is expected of our CB's in our system and I'm just not sure he'd be physically dominant enough to succeed.

Guehi should be one of our easiest negotiations. I personally think we should do a Madrid here. Get him on pre contract in January so he comes in next year for free.
We can look for someone else to buy this year. If he really wants Liverpool, he would wait just as Van Dijk did.
