Looking at the summer and our CB situation and it’s a little concerning. If you look from June 2026 we will have
Konate left on a free.
Van Dijk in final 12 months but declining .
Leoni just returning from long term injury so will need time.
Gomez injury problems.
It’s probable we sign Guehi, hopefully in January or the summer but we seem very light in this department.

Hoping we sign a CB in Jan. I think we have to as we can't continue the rest of the season with just 3 fit CBs.
Well there is Rhys Williams, but if Chiesa and Mo can't get a game then I don't think our hero from 2021 has much chance lol.

We have been light at CB since pre-Klopp. It has probably been our soft underbelly. We rode our luck with injury prone players (Matip/ Gomez), had hare-brained liabilities (Sakho/ Lovren/ Konate) and slow, tug boats with plenty of heart (Phillips and Williams) .
Shame Quansah lost focus and lest said about the panic buys the better.
We were lucky we had World Class glue holding it together.

Rhys Williams struggled in a morecambe side that got relegated out of the football league, saying that id still take him over konate.
