Klopp's team had the best goalkeeper in the league, the best defender in the league, and the best winger in the league. Klopp's team had some of the best players in Premier League history.

Alisson, Virgil and Mo were all literally the best in the world in their positions. Mane and Bobby were right up there as well.

They weren't anything when we signed them. Mane, Bobby, Salah, VVD, Alisson were made what they are by playing for LFC. They were not world class or even anywhere close before joining us. Sorry, this is just plain bad observation.
Liverpool have only signed potential players. Never ever have we signed already world class players. Only two I can think of in Premier League era are Alcantara and Morientes, and both kinda bombed as they had injury issues.

The question, would anybody have suggested that VVD was the best in the world while playing at Southampton? Or any of the other players, for that matter. Liverpool gives these players the stage to show they can play at the very top level in the PL and CL, and they succeeded.

Thrist, at the time we bought them, pretty much everyone was of the opinion that Isak and Wirtz were world class. Performances, or lack of, would suggest otherwise.
