See Harry "swan lake" Kane being a cheat on the biggest of stage at the World Cup. Should have been a yellow card. Great to see the refs being strong in these instances. Pity they don't do it in the Premiership.

If you're referring to the penalty instance, don't know what you're watching, but it's a pen all day long.

Not so Zippy, have a day off.
01 Jul 2026 19:30:40
Clearly a dive. Who runs forward with both feet together in the opposite direction? Simulation without a doubt.
01 Jul 2026 19:37:04
You could call it, but I like that the ref didn't
There is enough gap there for Kane to not drag his foot like that and find the contact.
01 Jul 2026 19:37:59
Rose tinted glasses, lads. Kane sticks his trailing leg out to hit the keeper. If it's the Premiership it's given all day, that's the way Premiership refs view it, but it's basically cheating.
What I will say, in Kane's defence, is that he's just pulled this English team out of the s*** once again. Ballon d'Or favourite for me, unless France and Dembele win the whole thing out.

A dive then a foul. ?♂️
01 Jul 2026 19:51:20
Sorry, no way was that a penalty for Kane. He clearly dived and should have seen a yellow. He flopped in the air, had time to place his two feet together like an Olympic diver!

BeKind, not in a million years. Notsozippy is 100% correct. England tinted glasses, indeed. Finally, a ref who was not fooled by Kane's despicable diving and cheating antics. The guy made a career of doing that and winning pens for years in the PL without a soul in sight calling it out.
Instead, what we heard from the "pundits" is how "Kane was clever", "He was smart in drawing the contact" or "If he goes down, you have to give it", and there's a lot more where that came from.
Pathetic.
How you bear down on goal, stop, and then with both legs, hop over the GK, dragging your feet to get contact off the GK and flopping to the ground and say it is a penalty? You can't, that's why.
Again, finally a ref who couldn't give a flying football who Kane was nor his reputation as a top CF and was not fooled by his diving and cheating antics. No pen, end of.
01 Jul 2026 20:42:11
It was a definite dive. He brings his feet together like a high board diver, and what makes it worse is Shearer saying it's great play. He bois my p*ss. If that was a DR Congo player, he would be screaming cheat.
01 Jul 2026 21:17:13
Notsozippy, 100% correct, no pen lads.
01 Jul 2026 21:19:55
Post on Twitter of swimmers diving into a pool w Kane diving on the end lane. Brilliant. He didn't look out of place. The refs in this WC have shown the PL refs how to keep the game flowing and how to stifle the likes of Arsenal, and the general time wasting and housery. Hopefully, the PGMOL is watching, but not holding my proverbial breath.

Not So Zippy and OliRed are both spot on.
01 Jul 2026 22:51:19
Well done, referee, if anything, Kane kicked the keeper's arm deliberately.
Dive, yellow card. For the protest, he should have got a second yellow. ?

I don't agree, it's not up to the striker to jump over a keeper who gets nowhere near the ball. Every top striker is taking the contact and going over there.
10 out of 10 times in the PL that is given as a pen. Kane knocks the ball past the keeper and the keeper clips the player without any contact on the ball.
