There has been a firm bid of 25m for Icardi from an un named team which has been rejected. Confirmed by his club.
I no what you have said about him and that he is available. Could the bid be from us do you think?

Hey ed, any other names that have been suggested to you :> Icardi seems a bit too expensive, though he has potential. The club would seem to be considering several targets at the moment, Bony and Konoplyanka mentioned by Macca.

Dezmondo, manquillo looked great mate. I watched it on TV but was watching him more than the ball most of the time as I have not seen him play before. I was very surprised how well he did. It was only a friendly so I am not getting g too carried away, but on first impressions he did good.

Just heard from a guy who phoned in at LFC TV, after the Dortmund game saying that the bony deal is done and Allen is going the other way. Hope not, I reckon Allen has a lot to offer.

Allen going the other way? Didn't even consider that but suppose he may struggle to get in now. Still I don't believe it's a done deal and apparently we haven't even contacted Swansea about Bony. If we are looking at another Striker it must be from elsewhere although I think we might stick with what we have now.

If true, good deal for me. Yes Allen is a great lad but he will get very little pitch time with the likes of Coutinho, Sterling, lallana, Gerrard, Henderson, Markovich and maybe one more central midfielder (if we bring one) compete for 4 spaces (assuming Sturridge and Bony upfront)

If this is true I will not miss Allen, more important if it means Bony is like £5-£8m in funds spent what a bargain

Allen is awful I would happily let anyone take him I would even drive him my self again today in another game he was dreadful Lucas is miles ahead yet is hated

Allen is a great player and has showed it on multiple occasions. It is a compliment to the players in front of him that he isn't a starter. He offers great depth in multiple positions and I hope he stays. That all said I would still love to get Bony in.

Wouldn't think Allen would go the other way, featured in pre-season and has been talking about adding to his game during regular season.
Swansea are reasonably stocked in the central positions Britton, Shelvey, Sigurdsson, Fulton, Adam King, Canas (if he doesn't leave). Can all play in the centre, they have more pressing positions to fill.

I think it's grossly unfair to say he is awful.
I had doubts about him, mainly because he isn't the biggest, but he is a grafter and doesn't go missing.
He is a damn good option when you need to keep possession or want to close out the game.

Allen has improved from his early appearances, but he is definitely the weakest of a bunch of players in his role (or if not then they are youngsters with huge potential).
He will not go though, because BR loves him and cuddles him like a teddy bear. lol

I first seen this fella in terryland park, galway fc v cobh ramblers, then seen him sitting in same seat the following week. Now, am going the game for 20yrs and I know the faces around. So, we went to wexford this week and I seen this fella again, in the galway crowd. he and another lad were taking photos and writing down stuff, I asked them who they were watching, straight up dave moss said ryan manning and was asking questions like what we tought of him etc, so there you go, not a rumour but.
