Can anyone confirm or deny that we have approached Leeds and Raphinha'a agent and that he and Deco will be meeting with the Leeds board later this month to discuss our interest.

I am not aware of any approach or declaration of interest from Liverpool at this time but the suspicion is that Manchester United have discussed him whilst enquiring after another player with his agent.}

I'd prefer Raphinha to Traore any day of the week. Same type of players, but Raphina knows how to find team mates and the net.

Raphinha will only come if Salah goes, which is unlikely. Same for Traore.
Have a gut feeling Mane will go in the summer for around 70-75 million euros. It's probably a LW we may be needing, not a RW.

A lot if hype around Raphinha because he works hard and can pull off a trick or two. Yet he has 21 less goals than Salah, 8 less than Mane, 5 less than Jota and 2 less than Firmino. The same amount as Curtis Jones!

I'm not saying it's all about goals but they're pretty important. He's style over substance for me. At 24 he should have more end product. Hell even Jack Harrison is a better player if you ask me.

Rather give Harvey Elliott chances to back-up Salah than Raphinha.

Read on the BBC Sport website of a claim in the Mail that Pulisic's agent is looking around given his limited playing time.

He's still only 22, Klopp knows of him from his time at Dortmund (albeit when he was very young) and we have decent (recent! ) success with ex Chelsea wingers!

What are people's thoughts on going back for him, should he be available for a reasonable fee? Could he, alongside Jota, with Elliot to come, form part of our front 3 solution for Klopp's Liverpool 2.0?

It's coming up to that time of the season when Liverpool are buying all the decent players in football. I think I'll wait until the end of the next transfer window to find out who we sold and bought. That way I will not be a victim of the false hopes and stories that come every season!

Sorry Ed002, I misquoted. Its actually an article purely based on assumptions (shock, horror! ) that Pulisic is probably not going to be happy being left out which should alert his previous alleged suitors of Liverpool, Man Utd and Bayern.

Got me thinking about him, though, and how disappointed I (and many others on here) were when he went to Chelsea. Hence the question as to whether folks still rate him as a potential long term solution for us.

{Ed002's Note - Pulisic will get his chances if he trains well and is patient. Chelsea tend to rotate players more than other sides so opportunity will come. Whilst they are looking to move players on I am not aware of Pulisic being one of them.}

I'd still have Timo at LFC, despite his poor form this season. He's got all the qualities and needs a coach like Klopp.
