Sorry if this has been asked. I just don't understand the logic of mario being touted to 3 epl clubs, suggesting we don't want him. If that's the case why are we playing him? is it because maybe he has a clause in his contract that he has to play? It sounds absurd I know but what else could it be.

Eds as you said Liverpool is trying to offload balotelli. So after sale of balotelli we will have one regular striker sturridge. So who is Liverpool target for striker? will they call Origi back from loan. Thanks in advance eds?

{Ed001's Note - no and we have Lambert and Borini already. Origi is not an option we can afford in January unless the owners are willing to take on huge amounts of debt.}
