hi eds and fans how serious is the rumour of dalglish looking at kalou? I think he would be alright what do you think? hibsylfc {Ed001's Note - I have not heard of any interest in Kalou, despite Chelsea's attempts to offload him.}

We are not after kalou the papers haven't got a clue who we are after so are throwing names out.

Hi Eds, is Shinji Kagawa worth a punt to help bolster the squad? I haven't seen that much of him to be honest, is there any comparison to Keisuke Honda? (who I really think would have been a great signing if there had been previous interest from us)

Cuchulainn's Hounds {Ed002's Note - There is no comparison to Honda at all. Kagawa will cost about 20M euro and is currently out of sorts. Probably worth your while looking him up.}

Why would there be any comparison with Honda?!

Much happier to take Adam Johnson or at this amount than someone who is unproven and inconsistent.

A squad player? are you kidding? Kagawa would not help to "bolster the squad," he would be a first team choice, every match. he is creative, clever, fast, highly technical, everything you want in a creative midfielder. It would be a huge waste of money if he brought him in to sit the bench. He's 100x better than Downing, Bellamy, Kuyt, Henderson, and the non-existent creative midfielder we have.

Squad player? all I mentioned was bolstering (or "improving") the squad mate. Cheers Ed 002, yep been reading up a little here and there during cooking and carving up the thanksgiving turkey this afternoon. Sooo.... on that note, anyone up for turkey and cranberry sarneys tomorrow?

Cuchulainn's Hounds

So ed according to you honda is better (i rate him personally)......RED INDIAN {Ed009's Note - I am not so sure. They are both very good players though Kagawa is faster and arguably a better dribbler. He is more of an attacking midfielder whereas Honda is a utility player.}

Hi eds, is it true we rejected a bid from arsenal for pepe reina in the summer? Please post, cheers, roblfc86 {Ed002's Note - No. It was the summer before.}

If it WAS this summer then i wouldnt have been suprised - arsenal were always struggling in that area of de pitch (goalie + especialy defence) LFC4ever {Ed001's Note - not this summer they weren't, they were happy with their goalie.}

Hi Eds, apologies if this has been asked before, but are Liverpool interested in Kalou? Cheers {Ed009's Note - I am very much confident he will not be signing.}

Wow its a relief. Why is he any different to N'gog.

I cant see any real signing in the summer unless there is a serious injury e.g (gerrard,suarez.) all we can do is wait and see what kk has up his sleeve

Dude! is that summer or winter. because if we dont make any summer signing we aould be surpassed by even the likes of newcastle, sunderland, aston villa and everton if they spend some decent money. If its winter, Ok i can see that.

Good point i didnt notice that! i agree with u we need another centre back to replace carra maybe as early as winter and we need a right midfield like adam johnson frm man city

We need to buy a quality right sided winger/midfileder in the winter, in my opinion.

Ed are we interested in hazard still as it seems to have cooled down? I know he likes spain but he has said before that he won't go somewhere that he think he is not going to start at because of players like ronaldo {Ed002's Note - As the very reliable Ed002 has said on numerous occasions, Eden Hazard will almost certainly not be moving to Liverpool in January. The interest was no more than a request to be kept informed of what is goining on with the player.}

Is there a chance next summer if we qualify for CL. His kind of player is the exact missing piece in the LFC jigsaw. I don't want only hazard as our superstar signing. Anyone who is equally capable in that position is welcomed. Do u know any such kind of players LFC have a real chance of signing. THANKS

Abhi {Ed009's Note - Eriksen is I suppose a possibility. I imagine we may well make at least an enquiry next summer.}

Sorry ed's you seid the same about Suarez you get it wrong too {Ed009's Note - I always said that Suarez was a possibility, though an outside one. Ed002 made one mistake amongst every other correct prediction. If you choose to discount any of our information if you like, it is no odds to us.}

Ed do you think we will try and sign kagawa, gaston ramirez or lucas from sao paolo in january? I have seen ed002 say lucas won't sign but freddieboswell on twitter who is a football agent in italy said that our interest in him is very serious. Just wondering what you thought ed {Ed002's Note - I would certainly believe Ed002 over whatever a freddieboswell on Twitter is, "football agent" or not. Kagawa is a possibility as has been mentioned before, but he is expensive and playing poorly right now. Ramirez' agent is talking him up and there has been no approach by Liverpool to Bolgne.}

Lucas is going to inter milan according to reports in italy

Ha why would an Italian football agent name himself after a character out of Bread?!

Why would some Liverpool fans like to sign lucas(Sao palo) when everyone knows he has third party ownership. Would u like the club to risk it like Westham and QPR and risk the wrath of FA. It doesn't mean i don't like the guy. But i would not take him at the risk of club's good. Even though he is still unproven at European level, let him go to some mickey mouse SeriA league and develop himself and then after few years, depending on our on-field and off-field success we could try to sign him if possible and if there are no complications.
Abhi. {Ed002's Note - If he came to England it would be without any third party ownership.}

Eds,

There are many reports about liverpool tring to sign Sissoko, Kagawa and Gaston ramirez.
Do you think it's possible that all three wil be liverpool players in january or next summer? {Ed001's Note - it is certainly possible, not likely though, we face competition for all 3 of those players.}

Inter Milan are in for ramirez

Hey ed what is the situation with sissoko? Gr8 player imo. Wud add a lot of steel to our midfield. N wats with kagawa? Pretty ordinary player frm what i have seen.
Indian Buzzer {Ed002's Note - Comoliii wanted Moussa Sissoko in the summer and I think the interest remains. Kagawa will be expensive, is playing poorly but does appear a possible option.}

Yeah but we're liverpool football club and we are competitive

Liverpool set to put a bid in for Celtic;s Ki Sung Young reported fee 10million

He's a poor player IMO

Lol poor player were do you come to that hes a great player better than half the players you have look at how much you have spent and your stilll s**te so he would be a much needed boost for your squad kenny knows a quality player when he see's 1

Don't need him 1 we have to many midfielders 2 Celtic are rubbish 3 the player is rubbish no thank you

I watch the SPL on a regular basis and Ki is a very inconsistent player IMO worth 4m and for a teamlike maybe wolves or swansea or norwich or balckburn he would be a good signing but not for a top half team

Hi eds. I know its a bit early but do u know if kenny will be after any1 in january? If so who do u think he will be going after? Thanx {Ed001's Note - I expect a fairly quiet January, unless players leave. I wouldn't want to give names right now, as was seen in the summer, it changes so much in the run up. After all, we were pushing hard for Moussa Sissoko all summer but never actually made a formal bid at all for him in the end. This despite Commoli telling him that he was seen as a long term replacement for Gerrard!}

I think sissoko is a strong possibility for next summer. He could be a quality addition provided we sell someone like spearing who is proving to be surplus and might be sold to benifit his career. I like the lad but should be moving since he can not make it at liverpool.

if real sign tevez, that would make higuain surplus, right? what's the chances of him coming to liverpool ed? i think him and suarez would be amazing. {Ed002's Note - Higuain would not be surplus - it is like saying the Suarez will be surplus if Liverpool sign Kalou. They are short a striker already. The chances of Higuain moving to Liverpool are very slim indeed.}

Hey Ed002, this is probably a really stupid question but I read on the BBC gossip column that Liverpool were going to try and sign Kalou in January. Now you say that if Liverpool sign Kalou....
I know that you were using that as an example and thats probably all it was an example, however I have to ask, are Liverpool actually trying to sign Kalou from Chelsea or not?

Sorry for the long winded question and again probably a dumb question but thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully reply.
KiwiRed {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any interest in Kalou from Liverpool - it appears at the moment to be speculation, no more.}
