From what I heard today Lucas may well be priced out of a move after hearing what the club want for him!his and others treatment by the club will only lead to future targets looking elsewhere then the knives will be out again

Hi eds I believe that Will Hughes is out for around 6 months let's hope he makes a speedy recovery, was he a player Liverpool were still interested in, I know we have had interest in him in the past.
{Ed001's Note - he was watched repeatedly last season yes.}
11 Aug 2015 09:02:38
Hi Ed002,
which players in your opinion will leave Liverpool FC this window? I know the club is trying to sell, so let`s just say all unwanted players leave. Who that would be? thanks.
{Ed002's Note - It won't be all unwanted players as the club has already priced a couple out of a move right now. I would expect Borini, Balotelli and Lucas to go.}
11 Aug 2015 18:53:48
Balotelli on a loan I presume ed?
{Ed002's Note - The club want to sell him if they can.}
11 Aug 2015 18:54:10
Also no interest in Enrique and Markovic?
{Ed002's Note - I think the best LFC can hope for is a loan for Enrique. Markovic was made available but I explained that his agent said that he could not find him another club at the asking price.}
11 Aug 2015 19:12:22
There is someone out there crazy enough to buy Balotelli? Or are we talking a loan subsidized very heavily by us with him returning next summer?
12 Aug 2015 09:04:07
Ok Markovic didn't hit the heights last season. I can understand getting rid of the rest but would be tempted to either keep or loan out marko to a premier league side like Bournemouth or Watford.

James Pearce mentioning today on the Echo Blog that he believes LFC Incoming business is now done.
11 Aug 2015 16:09:31
We don't really need anyone telling us that.
Apart from more kids for the academy.
11 Aug 2015 18:58:43
WOW I'm flabbergasted.
This guy truly is in the know.
Eds you better watch out
11 Aug 2015 19:40:02
If Pearce said that you can guarentee someone will arrive ha

Seeing the Ed's bumped this to rumors, I would guess they agree.
As for you two nutters above, no comment ; )

Heard a rumour that Felipe Anderson the Lazio attacking midfielder may join us.
10 Aug 2015 23:53:43
several outlets reporting that Lucas is on his way to Inter.
11 Aug 2015 09:27:04
Inter if that's the case surely Liverpool should be wanting a swap deal ?
11 Aug 2015 10:45:40
Good luck to the lad - time was we didn't treat players like this.
11 Aug 2015 11:11:37
Why do we need to sign a DM, Can can fill the role and is twice the footballer Lucas is
{Ed001's Note - twice the footballer? In what way? Sometimes I think people have never seen either play and just base their ludicrous opinions on playing FIFA! Can has proven nothing, how can he be claimed to be twice the player than someone who has proven to improve our results by a huge margin when he plays?}
11 Aug 2015 11:33:16
Wish we just never signed Milner. Hendos injury record is Good and then he should just play with can and or lucas.
11 Aug 2015 11:52:49
It's been a while since I've posted but EdFar'a mindless comment made me angry. Lucas Leiva is a class act. When he plays well, Liverpool play well and when he has an off game so do the rest of the team. He dictates the tempo and anyone who actually goes to the game and can see the movement of players will know the value he brings.
11 Aug 2015 13:04:02
Totally agree with Ed001.This clown of a manager is alienating anotherdecent player. Can seems good but has not been tested and he is definitely not twice a player.
11 Aug 2015 14:35:47
If they shift illaramendi, maybe Benitez will pick up Lucas?
11 Aug 2015 14:50:47
Agree with Ed, Can is clearly a great talent but untested at the highest level at DM, in fact has sometimes been caught out there a couple of times before and needs a solid DM in the squad for his own good to learn from (and also gives the flexibility for him to play further forward if required).
I would be very sad to see Lucas go, but if he does leave I hope he does well and I hope the management has the sense to bring in either Kovacic, Illara or someone else who's an experience deeper mid (I still think we should have tried to get Schneiderlin, Kongdogbia, Alonso or Khedira).
11 Aug 2015 20:16:18
Yes Lucas is a good tackler and interceptor but anyone who says he can control the tempo of the game clearly hasn't seen him play. He is nowhere near as influential with the ball as people claim to. The only player who seems to be able to control the tempo of the game and that to only till a certain extent is Joe Allen(Remember Tottenham). Our midfield this year will face the same problem as that of Man U and Chelsea, no one can control the tempo. That's the reason arsenal are playing better with cazorla in a controlling role. I have to say that there have been only two worldclass controllers of the game since i have started watching and they are Scholes and Xavi and if Liverpool really want to succeed they should buy a good controller of the ball. Playing coutinho as a midfield in a mid 3 in a 4-3-3 is a good option as he will do a better job than most players in the world right now.

LFC 1993, that was a disgraceful comment that bears to evidence in fact.
