Hey eds, read a rumor that Liverpool have agreed a first option deal on demarai gray. Any truth in it?

{Ed002's Note - Another winger Liverpool have been watching and they are seemingly very keen on. Bournemouth have been trying to buy Birmingham's Demarai Gray since January 2015 and have several bids rejected. They will return before January to try again. Southampton, Leicester, Arsenal and Liverpool have also enquired after the player with Arsenal and Liverpool watching him on several occasions. As for a "first option", I can't see that being the case nor how it would manifest itself without something being written in to the player's contract - which it won't be.}

Surely not any more of an improvement on ibe or Marko!

I just feel whatever money we have, if its 5 mil or 50 mil hopeful fan. We should get the one okayer that our money dictates and use are academy to fill any numbers. No more frees or lower players.

For example last summer would everyone not of preferred Kevin de bruyne and the promotion of ward, Randal, rossiter, texi and Sinclair. Whilst still having origi coming in. I would of still of like Gomez but what's 3.5 mil for someone with that much potential.

By the end of the year we would be more clear if the above kids can make the step up and say Randal wouldn't and we feel rb is important then we go get the best rb we can afford.

Shame. Hopefully things Change.

I agree and disagree. Could have just kept wisdom and markovic too. Wouldn't have picked de bruyne as we have lots of cams, even without firmino, and would be left with just origi up front at the moment without Ings and benteke. Although I like Ings.

Just because he comes from the lower division doesn't mean he isn't promising. People didn't think delle alli was good enough and he's been really good this season. we don't really play wingers right now, but the only true winger we have is Ibe. Worse purchases have been made for sure.

Eds, hi.

Thanks for particularly great responses recently.

Any chance of getting an update on what JK's view is to our various loanees and if any might return either in Jan or beyond.

Particularly keen to hear about Markovic, Ilori, and Wisdom, but also the youngsters yet to really have a run in the first team.

Also, where's Flanno with his injury?

Ta, as always.

Rob.

{Ed001's Note - right now it doesn't look like anything will change with regard to those out on loan for the season. Klopp is still assessing things, both those out on loan and the options within the club. He will continue to chat with the loanees and see how they are getting on, so it will only be those who are not making progress on loan that are likely to be considered for a recall. Potentially Wisdom, though Norwich paid money for the loan, so they might not be willing to tear up the contract.

Flanno is, right now, possibly back for the busy Christmas period, but he will need to be eased back or he will suffer like Sturridge.}

Cheers Ed, do you know if those three would be keen on a Liverpool return? I heard Markovic and Ilori were both very frustrated prior to their loan moves, with Ilori hoping the loan to buy option would be fulfilled.

Cheers again.

{Ed001's Note - Ilori is still considering his options, he did want out but managers have come and gone and he is unsure. Markovic just wants to play, as does Wisdom. All three would happily come back if they are going to be given a chance to prove themselves. Wisdom is particularly keen to have a future with us.}
