Some rumours gathered from various sources on the internet:

Fabio Borini - The lad fought to prove himself but now seems resigned to his future being away from Anfield. Likely destinations include Fiorentina, Inter or Lazio. It's alleged that Fiorentina put in an £8m bid that we have until the end of Wednesday to accept but it rumours are also rife that WHU might put in a bid for the lad. WHU wouldn't be a bad move for him but Fiorentina probably represents the best option.

Jose Enrique - has stated to Marca that alienation of him and a couple of other players by BR has left him wanting to leave now if an offer comes but he will leave next year regardless of now on a free. BUT other reports indicate he is in two minds and wants to stay a prove people wrong. There are some unlikely rumours about interest from Crystal Palace and WBA.

Mario "Calculated Gamble" Balotelli - Mr Hardsell is unlikely to get a permanent move but a loan with us paying a majority of his wages is on the cards. Sampdoria or Lazio remain possible but at some point soon MB might have to heed Di Canio's words and opt for the celebrity culture of America and the MLS where he'd be worth the shirt sales.

Lucas Leiva - a firm favourite with us fans! He has not been transfer listed but we are apparently willing to listen to any offers for him. Possibility of a one year loan to Inter with an option to buy at the end. I remain convinced this would be bad business for LFC but there's no telling what'll happen under BR.

Mamadou Sakho - he insists he wants to stay at the club and fight for his place but he is clearly being marginalized and might well be available at the right price but players might just be making noise due to a more active rotation that has many players playing far less than they would like. If he stays then he will hope LFC can have good runs in the Europa Cup and the Capitol One League Cup.

Tiago Illori - with his father having been lied to by BR it is unlikely that his future will be at Anfield. Thanks to BR for mismanaging another player with great potential.

Lazar Markovic - not really been given any great run in the team and has been badly used by BR. Benfica will happily loan him back from us. As long as BR insists (stupidly) on using him in a wing back role then the boy cannot possibly fulfil his potential (which never EVER include defending).

I suspect a few players will hang on knowing Rodgers could be sacked in 3 months.

I have no sympathy for Jose Enrique. He was stupid enough to also mention in his interview that money is a major factor over playing time and he won't be earning what he would be at LFC in Spain, unless it is for Barca or Real.He also hinted he turned down a good option in Spain because he won't be paid what he is at LFC.

really don't know what all the anti BR slant is here.
Nothing about players in a ruthlessly competitive industry being given a chance and basically not being good enough. take a look at the endless list of Chelsea players that are bought, tried or loaned and don't make the cut.

Lucas has been used and has been great but is fighting for a place.
Markovic came, was tried & is basically too lightweight & hasn't show much composure.
balotelli - obviousl
Sakho - ok but only has a left foot & telegraphs numerous passes inside so is easily pressed, fine as a squad player but not going to be more
Borini - what prem side starting line up would he get into? none
Llori - was bought as 'one for the future' has he set the world on fire on loan? no. has any loan club wanted to keep him? no.

would any of the above get in ahead of satrudays starting 11? honestly? no.

but BRs an idiot. hmmm

{Ed001's Note - Borini would walk into a number of Prem teams starting line up, such as Sunderland's. Strange point you make there, considering he has already shown that he made them better while on loan there.
Sakho I just wonder what that crap is about. How many centre backs have we got that are better at playing it out from the back? Skrtel always suffers when pressed, Lovren hoofs under pressure, Sakho is the only one who has shown any kind of composure when pressed.
Ilori, not Llori, which just shows your lack of knowledge of the lad, has actually been wanted by the clubs he went on loan to and other clubs. No idea why you suddenly decide he was unwanted by them.

Would any of them get in the starting 11? Of course not, Brendan Rodgers is picking the team and he doesn't want any of them. What on earth is your point? Unless it is to prove that you know as little about the game as Rodgers?}

You forget the biggest point of all trackster - Rodgers signed or gave the go ahead for all of these players!!

Ed1 you are correct, most of the players here a above average players and would get their game in the premier league for other teams.
The reason I don't see many clubs fighting for their signature is I presume the wages and likely fee Liverpool are trying to recoup.
The last poster was very harsh on some of the signings and me for one would have sakho as our no 1 centre back.
Markovic has been used as a wing back which clearly isn't his position and for Lucas being sold is a tragedy for all he has given us and could still give us. I think Can will be a good player for us but he lacks experience that Lucas has.

The BR slant is because he tells lies. Rain a won't be sold agger won't be sold suarez won't be sold sterling won't be sold we will not buy ballotelli. He even lied to his wife about seeing another woman. I don't trust him and don't think he is the right man for us.

It is quite obvious that Skrtel and Sakho don't work well together.

Perhaps Brendan has actually learnt his lesson by going with two sets of centre-back pairings in Skrtel/Lovren & Sakho/Touré which would make a lot of sense.

Sick of people bashing BR. Perhaps the players you insist on being so amazing are simply not showing it in training and therefore not picked?

{Ed001's Note - or perhaps not...}

I would much prefer skrtel and lovren than sakho, a one legged c/b that needs a couple of touches to control the ball, by then he's under pressure, remember sakho came back into our defence for last game of season,

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - one legged? Hmmm not sure you have ever seen the lad play, because that is just simply a lie. He has a far better touch on the ball than either Skrtel or Lovren, according to the present and past coaching staff.}

I have seen him play a couple of times once with cissoko beside him didn't know which was the worst,the opposition fans jeered both throughout game, sorry mate,

I hate all this nonsense about Sakho being a bad defender. He gets a lot of stick because he often looks awkward or gangly on the ball but his stats tell the story that's really important if you look them up. And if you wanna see how good he really is then watch his games for France where he's utilised to his strengths, he's an absolute beast! At the same time I don't think Lovren is a bad defender either though, same goes for Skrtel to some extent but I think whatever has been happening in training, is not improving them at all, if anything we're taking good defenders, ruining them somehow and then pointing the finger at them when things go wrong. Saying that though, we haven't had a player who can tie the midfield and defence together since Mascharano in my opinion, which could be a factor but whoever Rodgers picks he needs to stick with them and let them build some sort of consistent partnership or it'll be more of the same this season for sure.

i humbly apologise for expressing an opinion, Thought that's what the chat was all about. i'll just agree with everyone next time

{Ed001's Note - isn't that what everyone else did? Or is it only ok for an opinion to be expressed if it agrees with you?}

Eds are we or were we interested in traore of Barcelona? See he is now being linked with villa, any info would be appreciated

Believable2 Unbelievable2

{Ed001's Note - yes we were interested.}

But no longer?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - not right now as far I am aware we are pretty much done for the window, except for sales. Though a loan might not be out of the question, I doubt it would be him as Barca want to get him games.}
