Liverpool are close to a double swoop on ajax for Toby alderweireld and christian eriksen, with assaidi going the other way as part of the deal.
I hope your not joking I would love to see that happen, where did you find this info?

Both players will NOT sign for LFC.

I don't know why fans are so crazy about eriksen, have you seen him play week and week out? I see him play week and week out and his nothing special very inconsistant which is the same problem with a lot of players we have got.
How about we do it this way, if you can't defend your post (authenticity). don't bother trying to give us a DEAD HOPE

Eriksen is good, not amazing but good and also young so he can improve.
I could see this happening as Liverpool have interest in both the players and Ajax wanted assadi in the summer
As much as it'd make sense as we want both Eriksen and Aldwerweireld and they're long-term admirers of Assaidi, I highly doubt this would happen

I always believed him to be the brains behind Rafa and things went downhill quickly after he left, among other reasons if course, but can you really see Brendan including him somehow? I doubt it.

Hi ed's even though I like Lucas as a player, are the club looking at bringing another defensive midfielder in during the summer. {Ed001's Note - as far as I can find out, we have not shown any signs of a move for one, yet. Whether that is just because we are trying to sort out the defence first, or whether it is simply not going to happen this summer, is a matter for conjecture. Personally I do think we need some bite in midfield more than a centre half, as the defence is missing protection.}
I'd sell Lucas all he does is commit fouls.
If true, Rodgers must be the only person who can't see how average Lucas is at defensive midfield. A new DM is pretty much as essential as a new CB in my opinion. Playing next season with Lucas DM and Williams CB will not get us top 4.

Lucas is a good player but his not natural DM neither have bite or energy or pace and the systeam we play it doesn't suit him at all, rodgers have big problems to deal next season we have got lots of players which are not suited to his style/systeam which needs to be fixed, eg defenders, midfielders, wingers and maybe one more poacher/striker etc, I doubt FSG will give him enough money to solve all this problems unless Rodgers finds the way to get best out of what he already have or forces them to play in a way which doesn't come naturally to them and keep on missing top4.
After Lucas performance against Reading we should dump him. Bloody terrible. Still cannot see what he adds to the team.

Hi eds, reckon there's any chance of Micah Richards joining Liverpool this summer? With City's previous interest in Martin Skrtel reckon they'd consider a swap deal? {Ed001's Note - why would they? Swap deals very rarely happen.}

Seriously don't get the love in for Micah Richards.
He only looks good because of the players around him like Kompany, he isn't a brilliant footballer, isn't composed on the ball, not even a good defender as he is mistake prone.
All he has got is pace, we have enough poor over priced British players clogging up the team and really don't need another.
If we sign either Williams or Richards I'd be gutted as they are over priced, 12m+ for Williams and 15m+ for Richards? No effing way in my book, how much did spurs pay for verthongen? We should look abroad and not just for someone that BR has managed before.

Micah Richards is a player I have always liked the look of. Strength, speed and can attack as well as defend. Could play RB as well as CB. Reminds me a bit of Andre Wisdom actually. Any chance Liverpool could sign him Ed? Thanks in advance.

I hope so Malak as I don't think that Williams is worth £10 million. We should go for one of the Feyenoord CB's preferably De Vrij. I know that he is attracting serious interest from elsewhere though.

Hope your right Malak, i'd prefer us to go for Micah Richards as like Martin Kelly and Andre Wisdom he can cover RB, CB and LB if needed so would be a better choice and is better than most defenders we have been linked with.

I've seen a couple if reports suggesting Micah Richards could be a target for us. I guess anyone COULD be a target but what's Richards availability likely to be? Whenever I've seen him play it's been like people trying to run through a brick wall. {Ed002's Note - I would suspect they would be willing to let him move on as he has suffered ongoing injury issues.}
As I've said before he would be a great signing depending on his fitness, he can cover various positions and would be a better signing then some of the defenders mentioned recently. i'd imagine £10M - £12M would seal the deal.
Wow that would be a great signing, over priced, injury prone and mistake prone. I hope we don't as he is complete toilet.

A complete toilet sounds good at the moment. We need a brick s**thouse to bolster a fragile defence. All the noise we've heard about the new medical regime at the club may do the same for him as it's done for SG who's looked stronger than he's done for ages.

is there any interest from Liverpool towards filip djuricic of herenveen? if we do not get eriksen, we should sign this guy. {Ed002's Note - Heerenveen's Filip Djuricic will be moving to Benfica in the summer rejecting interest from AC Milan and the attention of a number of sides with Schalke and Manchester United making little effort to hide their interest. I understand that Milan had spoken with Marco Van Basten about the player but concerns existed that he would not be ready for the more major European leagues at this time.}

I've been watching the Bundesliga on and off over the season and the league looks to have a number off good players in it Draxler and Schlurre two who stand out, apart from Reus etc, as well as number of good keepers. I understand you stated Schlurre could be on his way to Chelsea but do you know of any interest in any players from the league? {Ed002's Note - There is a lot of interest in players from the Bundesliga - as you say Chelsea has an interest in Schurrle and Reus, Manchester United in Lewandowski, Manchester City in Reus and I am sure there will be growing interest in the likes of Gomez and all of the other players leaving Bayern Munich in the summer.}

Hey eds long time no post I see you have a log in system now I hope that has helped reduce the unwarrented abuse you guys used to get. anyway more of a question than a rumour but I've had about a big clearout happening in bayern in the summer would hummels be available? and if so what teams do you think may be interested? thanks CRAIG {Ed002's Note - Hummels does not play for Bayern Munich. However, there has been a lot of interest from clubs and he could well move in the summer with Barcelona having high expectations of signing him, whilst fearing bids from the Manchester clubs.}
