Moussa dembele! The lad is a class footballer and would be a great addition to our team, could be just what were looking for in terms of abit of creativity in the final third. Any serious interest there eds/macca? Great site btw

I agree, the lad is class, ya could see after 5 minutes in the prem, suffered a few injuries in his time at fulham but still progressed well, technically superb and would walk into are team, also like the look of belhanda. surely 2 realistic signings?

Once again, you talk about players. Why don't you talk about managers? Aside from what the King has done in his playing days, let's look at the table. 52 points. It's clear that Kenny is not a class manager, and the players he relies on aren't class either. 52, 52, 52, 52 52! {Ed002's Note - There is page after page of talk about Dalglish.}

Sure KK has done couple questionable desitions this year, but u cant seriously blame the PL finish on him?
Downing with 0 goals or assist, carrol out injured and lacking form most of season, suarez ban, lucas injury, gerrard injury.... We create 30 attempts on goal in same match and dont score, i mean wtf u want him to put on his shoes and score the goals for us aswell?
As long as KING Kenny is manager ill be behind him and supporting him and our players...

Any interest in raul albiol? We were heavily linked before he moved to Madrid and isn't really in favour there...

13 May 2012 23:10:56

it's like the Irish Civil service, with all these Italian based players moving onto pastures new/retiring

Del Piero, Nesta, Gattuso, Van Bommel, Inzaghi

Ed will ay rate out of 10 the chances of these coming to lfc please
Cavani
Laveezzi
Hulk
Rossi
De jong
Torres

Thanks {Ed002's Note - There is a chance of Luuk De Jong. The others will not be moving to Liverpool.}

Oh my word did you really put Torres in that list, really ?

I love the way everyone keeps putting Cavani, Hulk, Rossi and Torres. I expect it even when they have retired lol

Luuk de Jong, but i seriously doubt the others, they'll cost way too much

13 May 2012 22:37:17
would liverpool ever look into geting parma's macdonald mariga with gerrard getting older and spering not been that good all we have is lucas {Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}

13 May 2012 22:19:14
ed do we have any intrest in joe allen? cheers JF LFC {Ed002's Note - Not that I know of.}

13 May 2012 23:20:52
Liverpool are closing in on a move for Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame on a free transfer, can reveal.

The Senegalese star is out of contract at the end of the season and the Reds expect to hold talks in the next 10 days over a deal that would double his current salary to around £60,000-a-week.

Been see wigan a few times this would be a good move

13 May 2012 22:33:24
Hi All/ed
has anyone of u heard about antoine griezmann from sociedad i have a mate who says liverpool is looking at him and that he would cost 8 million. {Ed002's Note - Athletico Madrid, Valencia, Marseille and Lyon have shown some interest in Griezmann in the recent past and repordedly Barcelona tool a look at one time, but there is nothing of note right now.}

13 May 2012 21:56:08
Tony Barret, a reliable journalist from The Times i think, commented on Twitter regarding on Skrtel's transfer rumors.....

"Don't know where the rumours suggesting Martin Skrtel has submitted a transfer request are coming from. He definitely hasn't."

Roberto Martinez is now 7/4 to become next permanent liverpool manager.
Rafa Benitez is 5/2.

Why do people not believe this? The poster has been to a betting website and coped down the odds on these two. These are the prices on Martinez and Benitez, simples. It doesn't mean that either of them is actually going to be the next manager. You can get 100/1 on Kevin Keegan. {Ed002's Note - The believe because it is true.}

I believe that Martinez would be a great manager for Liverpool, hes been long enough in the Prem. hes ready to step up
Padre

Permanent? Is there anything of the sort in modern football?

Even if we get to replace Kenny with Martinez, i give him two months into the new season and fans would be on his back wanting him sacked.

We have to get over this change the manager all the time when things aren't going are way what if utd had have got rid of fergie when he had 3 bad seasons changing all the s**te that big ron had assembled whoever is calling for kennys head needs to catch themselves on

13 May 2012 21:54:12
Liverpool scouting two young Feyenoord players, one called Trinidad, one called Ake (not the purple one before u ask). Dont know if any bids gone in but both are definately being closely watched.

{Ed002's Note - Ake moved to Chelsea a couple of years back.}

Panini fail.

Haha purple ake would fit in well down in chelsea!
jg

If one is called trinidad is the other clled tobago

Ake is a chelsea player.a future star

13 May 2012 21:51:26
Have you heard anything about Mohamed Diami of wigan? Free this summer, looks decent and are a few rumours flying about? {Ed016's Note - Don't think it will happen}

13 May 2012 21:48:59
reina is going to madrid as his family want a move back to spain and liverpool want to replace him with ter stegen.

Clearly going to madrid, when they have casillas....boring!

To be back up for casillas ? or to replace the on loan curtois at athletico madrid?

Yeah coz the ex Barca keeper is going to Madrid, also Madrid are in desperate need for a keeper

No they don't they are very happy

He means atletico madrid..

If he wants to go, then adios.

IF he is going to leave then Marc-Andre Ter Stegen would be a suitable replacement. Although Liverpool are also looking at Jack Butland anyway. {Ed022's Note - ?}

13 May 2012 21:47:37
I hope some of our players watch David Silva on Match of the Day tonight and see how to get a ball into the danger area from corners.

{Ed016's Note - I can't believe how many corners couldnt beat the first man this season, utterly frustrating}

Watched the game and until barton got sent off it looked like city were never going to break a resolute defence down no matter how many creative players they had.

I actually think we have scored a lot more from set-pieces this season. Our corners have been woeful for years. Gerrard often takes them all and doesn't clear the first man.

I think Skrtel worked out the best idea - to be the first man.

LARGELY Adams fault for LFC. he is terrible

Totally agree Ed016, soooo frustrating, 50k a week and they cant take a corner? WTF????

13 May 2012 21:35:17
There are rumours of david villa coming to lfc YNWA {Ed016's Note - With his broken leg and all}

He hasnt got broken leg anymore, he has returned

No chance

13 May 2012 21:31:35
Evening all another dissapointing result but didnt change anything, I did notice the after match hand shake turned into a few words and a little hug, the after match interview was very pro Swansea and how well BR had done, I may be way off the mark but could BR be our new manager ??

Your thoughts please Ladies and Gents !!

Jim {Ed016's Note - I think we are a respectful club and we lost with a little dignity so we praised Swansea for having a terrific first season in the EPL and very happy for them}

13 May 2012 21:04:00
Hi Ed's

Of the relegated teams probably only 3 or 4 players worth chasing.

Have you any ideas on price, availability or interest in any of:

Chung-Young Lee - BW best PLayer 10/11 probably the reason they went down being out all season

Matt Jarvis - Decent, tricky winger

Junior Hoylett - Free, excellent pace and an eye for goal

Adam Bogdan - One of the best shot stoppers in the PL and young for a keeper a possible long term replacement for Pepe

Ryo Miyaichi - Shown flashes of brilliance, The replacement we never got for L Garcia / Yossi

Thanks in advance.

FatJanMolby

Ryo Mayachi is an Arsenal player. He was on loan to Bolton ever since the January transfer window, if I recall correctly.

lil_elf

Miyaichi is on loan from arsenal..no chance mate

SLURed

Jarvis is nowhere near the quality needed for lfc, why would we want bogdan when we have better younger keepers coming through academy and think im right in saying miyachi is on loan from arsenal

Myaichi is not a Bolton player. He was only their on loan from Arsenal to get some experience....

Lee is worth goin for as a squad player if cheap enough nzonzi is a decent player aswell and grant Hanley looks talented possibly 4m each would be reasonable all 3 are young with lots of room for improvement

Ryo Miyaichi is an Arsenal player
JA94

Miyachi is on loan from Arsenal and seen as one of their brightest young prospects so rule hom out.

Scott dann

Ryo Miyaichi is a arse........oh.

Jarvis, lee and miyaichi?? it would be a sad day if any of them managed to get paid to wear the red shirt

Ryo is on loan from arsenal

Hoilett's goal-to-gsame ratio is similar to Downing's before he joined. Enough said!

Roy mayaichi is owned by arsenal if I'm not mistaken he was just on loan at the reebok.

Miyaichi is on loan from arsenal and bogdan is ginger.

Red the first name an new you was an person

What is the obsession with picking over relegated teams? These players weren't being deemed as suitable transfers targets either last summer or in January. And they certainly weren't good enough to help keep their clubs in the premiership. Not for me...sorry!

13 May 2012 21:16:35
Villareal have just been relegated from la liga after losing 1-0 to athletico! Some good players that might be available cheaper eds? Likes of nilmar and rossi? I know the latter has had his injury problems and is on the sidelines again. But we are actively searching for a striker so there could be a chance? Cheers guys :) great job!
Willster :) {Ed016's Note - The vultures surround relegated clubs yes. who knows}

Rossi and vela could both be worth a punt both have undoubted ability an seem to be decent finishers rossis price must off dropped due to his lengthy injury and vela isn't wanted at arsenal so may may well work out to be good business

Borja valero would be a good signing, not that we need him but better than adam and henderson

Bruno Soriano, Cani, Matchusio all very good players

Rossi's injury has put his career in jeopardy from what I read.

Thought Rossi has been told he wouldn't play again to 2013 at earliest. If he ever plays again. So thank good DC has gone otherwise we'd be banging in a £20mill bid

13 May 2012 20:26:54
Hello Eds,
I'd be very dissapointed to hear Skrtel put in the transfer request as he's been solid but as was the case with Torres, Mascherano, Alonso if a player wants to leave no point in keeping him. I think there are some options within the club to replace Skrtel. But if it was to be true, keeping in mind rumours about Suarez, Adam, Doni, Reina, Johnson, Aurelio, Shelvey, Maxi, Kuyt, and all those on loans ready to leave, we may be in for just another interesting period between the seasons. The players seem to be running out of patience waiting for CL football. That's not any excuse, if you're in a club like LFC is an honour to play for it. If you don't want to be here - be gone! YNWA!

He has not handed in a transfer request

When will you idiots realise that bookmakers (particuly slybet) put out these rumours to get muppets thinking they are onto a sure thing.

The players have a lot to answer for, LFC are the best club in the uk, sometimes its all paper talk. For now the only real change may be in the managers seat, new manager will want new players and existing players will either want out or will not be in the plans, because thats football and it happens all the time. I can not see how any player at lfc is not motivated, the reasons behind this season, who knows, its a funny old game.

13 May 2012 20:26:26
Just though a reliable source, renia and skrtel and johnson will be leaving. Can anyone shed any light on this? {Ed016's Note - I wouldn't say it is all out of the question, but this would be a sizable chunk out of the squad. I have feared that Doni was primarily brought in incase Pepe decided to jump ship in January. But we will see. I hope Skrtel doesn't leave but even then Coates should see more involvement next season with Agger.}

If your source is so reliable why are you asking what the eds and readers think?

Would Reina and Skrtel insult the fans by saying, one minute, that they were looking forward to next season and then jumping ship the next? These guys seem a little more loyal than that - although we would all have said that about Torres at one stage.

13 May 2012 21:22:55
Hi eds! Just wondering is there any interest from us or any other PL team in Leandro Damiao? I remember him being linked with Tottenham last summer. Would love to see him at Anfield next season!

Mike {Ed002's Note - Leandro Damiao remains of interest to several clubs including Spurs, PSG, Roma, Sporting Lisbon, Inter Milan and Juventus. Lyon, Arsenal and Barcelona seem to have dropped any interest they had in the player. January 2013 may be a more likely time to move than the summer although with bids from Spurs and Roma on the table, PSG or Juventus may force a summer move - and these remain the most likely destinations right now.}

13 May 2012 21:22:11
hey eds

seeing as villireal got relegated do you you think we will try and sign any of there players?

mainly rossi

thanks {Ed002's Note - Nilmar is likely to move to Roma, Galatasary, Fiorentina or Sao Paulo. Giuseppe Rossi will leave Villareal in the summer and a move to Italy is most likely if he leaves Spain - with Napoli a very strong contender. Barcelona may be interested.}

Musacchio would be a useful addition to our squad, only around 21 years of age. Unsure if he is better than Coates or not though.
Scouse_Pride

Didn't Rossi just blow his knee out again and put his career in jeopardy? I believe he's on the shelf for 12 months.

Rumours in partizan is that Liverpool is close to snatching Chelsea target Lazar Markovic, and he has told his club he would like a move to Liverpool were he is pretty much guaranteed first team fotball.
dont know if this is rubbish, just thought id pass it on.... Seems likely that we want him, very versatile player can play both wings and behind a striker.... Eds tell me please... Its bull?
Have a nice evening

hopefull fan {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have been in talks over the player this week. As of Friday they were miles apart on the money. Liverpool have been previously interested.}

Markovic is not good enough yet to be first team player in premiership.He is very fast and versatile but not strong enough,also he is not great goalscorer so far.He may be a great for future,but Serbian football league is very weak,maybe same quality as English 1st division.Serbian Red

Ive only watched this kid on 6-7 matches, and seems the real deal to me.. fast, skillfull, good workrate nice off the ball movement and looks like he has the winning mentality we need... Not sure wha partizan wants, but id easily gamble 10-12 mill on him... Only 18 years of age and allready played for hes country... How do u rate him eds? Id love anothers opinion on him... Cheers

As I heard Partizan wants minimum of 17 mill euros for him.Serbian Red {Ed002's Note - The price quoted to Chelsea is slightly higher than that.}

Serbian clubs live from sales and for me is hard to believe that Partizan will resist.Partizan constantly sale best youngsters Jovetic,Ljajic,Tosic etc...They have one of the best Youth academy in East Europe and Liverpool.Serbian Red

So about the figure ive expected than... 12m £ isnt far off... And we cant get the best players available so why not go for the best talents?.... We wont win the league next year, so buy them young and let them play to develop... Couple years in the first team and im pretty sure he would be world class.... But maybe i have no clue, and hed be better off on chelsea reserves for 3 years.... Im sry for beeing a douche, im just a bit frustrated to see all the talents go to other pl clubs, without us even trying.... Great work and thx for info

Unconfirmed reports Porto have agreed to sell Hulk to Chelski!

Lee73 {Ed002's Note - Talks but no agreement yet.}

13 May 2012 20:45:55
Spartak Moscow owner has stated that Unai Emery will be taking over the managers job from Valery Karpin.

Now the season has finished, interesting times ahead with the rumours and stuff.

Looking forwarde to the ever increasing sarcasm from Ed002

Use of the word mate from Ed022
I have no idea mate
Use the search function mate
I dont know mate...................(not often an Ed says they dont know) "mate"
keep up the good work All Eds.

ps...whats the average number of hits now. Certainly gaining in popularity.

this has just come up on sky sports Roberto Martinez insists it is a 'compliment' to be linked with bigger jobs after the Wigan Athletic manager was mooted as a candidate to take charge at Liverpool.

The Wigan boss masterminded a stunning closing few weeks of the season as victories over several of the Premier League's leading clubs ensured top-flight survival.

Latics chairman Dave Whelan has previously stated that Martinez will eventually land a top job and the Spaniard has been linked as a long-term replacement for Kenny Dalglish at Liverpool.

Hope not

He also "masterminded" a crap majority of the season that had them in the brown stuff until that late run of results, however impressive that was. For me he's not suited to a big club just yet.

TAYPOT

13 May 2012 20:08:20
New transfers, fingers crossed

Strikers - Hunterlaar and De jong
Wingers - Affelay or A Johnson
Attack Mid - Ramirez or Diego
Def Mid - Sissoko or fernando Reges
Def - Shawcross/ Kjaer and Isla

Kagawa looks to be heading to man utd so looks like we won't be getting him if there ever was a chance mike phelan was at the German cup final scouting we need to start looking more at the bundesliga for players some great talent an Chelsea have got a bargain in Marin for the reported 8.3m I think we should attempt to sign sigurdsson/lewandowski/and I would also like to see berbatov signed on a 2yr deal to add quality cover for Suarez an Carroll with the heavy fixture load we will gave nx season plus we should sign a young striker

Gotta love Kjaer

Forget it! Let's talk about the manager. The results don't lie! Another defeat and you're dreaming in fantasy island. You should have a list of managers, and not players!

13 May 2012 20:02:21
I have it on very good authority that KD has managed LFC for his last time today. Dave Whelan has given his blessing to Roberto Martinez to become our next manager. With this, there will be a complete shake up of the team with some of the big name players leaving, and some shocks. KD will move up stairs so will be involved in some of the clubs makeup. The transfer budget will be discussed in the coming weeks, but is not thought to be that much, most of which to come from players leaving. Also, the young English policy is to change in a rebuild to get back in the top 4, but this may take a couple of years. Good times ahead are a certainty, but it will not happen over night, but keep faith in our wonderful club and it's belief in what is to be. Thanks again for what has been an up and down season, but silver wear is a step in the right direction.

Certainty in football, it dont exist
In Kenny we should all trust

We read these post 18 months ago, dream on won't happen .if the owners s**t out this summer it will take at least five years to get back in the top four simple. Utd will be fuming Chelsea will spend plus spurs and arsenal.CHEERS psv

"Good times ahead are a certainty, but it will not happen over night, but keep faith in our wonderful club and it's belief in what is to be"

So sacking a manager after one season fits with this doesn't it...

FSG understand success isn't built overnight. Their question will be whether Dalglish will deliver this given the time, or whether he will fail.

Will the fans be patient enough to give Martinez a couple of years to turn it round? If this season is anything to go by I certainly doubt it.

I read it until the bit about the budget, how many times, there is no set budget !!!

If kenny is sacked then f*** fsg they dont have a clue whats best for this club.

Knew it...
The owl

Been hearing exactly the same from local journalist in North West...

I know a guty involved in sports products whom knows many people at LFC. He told me today that KK will be moved and that Roberto Martinez is nailed on to take over. This rumour is gathering pace!!

I sincerely hope it was his last game. Hiding behind stats and luck is not good enough.

We have been rebuilding for how many years now? Championship could be the direction ...... {Ed016's Note - we have been rebuilding for one season. get a grip}

Wow, you are like a jedi master!! Says same thing in todays paper aswell. I have come to the conclusion we have the same source... Wink wink lets keep it between me n u.

I am from the future and I send my sympathies to Robeto Martinez here in the past...and we thought Roy hodgson had a rough time {Ed003's Note -You didn't manage to see the lottery results did you?}

{Ed016's Note - Alright so this topic will no longer be replied too.}

Im sure i heard exactly the same thing this time last year, oh and how true that was. avb could of done better. in money i trust

Im starting to be ashamed by all the so called fans, who only talk dirt of our players and manager... This is first season with alot of new and young players and to sack kenny now and replace him with martinez would be insane imho, sure PL posision is not acceptable, but give the team atleast one more full season, ive supported LFC over 20 years now, and the worst thing this season is by far the fans, reached an all time low...

The manager revolving door is here. One out, another in. It will be two managers per season if Kenny gets sacked. That will be good for "stability".

Why some of you so-called supporters wnat rid of Dalglish is astounding... even more so when you say you want Martinez to replace him. Martinez, with a decent squad and budget, scraped past relegation in his two seasons in charge at Wigan. You could even argue that Swansea are better now that he has gone. Stick with Dalglish and you will reap the rewards. Next season will be different: this season was more about blooding new, younger squad members and they should improve next season. watch this space...

13 May 2012 19:55:56
Ive have heard from my uncle's mate who is a journalist for the mail ,Tomorrow Monday 14th May there will be a announcement , King kenny will lose his job as Liverpool manger,this will happen not because we have failed in the league and finished 8th place nor will it be we have not qualified for champions league it will be because of two dates now in the history of Liverpool Fc ,this dates are
21 Dec 2011. & 12 Feb 2012
21 Dec 2011 is the time that it was King Kenny ideal to send his team out before kick-off and wearing T-shirts depicting an image of Suarez and his name and number seven.
12.Feb 2012 is the time Liverpool striker Luis Suarez refused to shake Manchester United defender Patrice Evra's hand, when the two were involved in an angry confrontation on Saturday during a pre-match handshake in the players' first meeting since the Liverpool forward was banned for racially abusing the France international this was deemed by the owners has the last straw ,to save face and backlash of the fans king kenny will be give a made up job on the board ,at this moment the journalist has no ideal of who will take over from king kenny ,at the next opportunity Luis Suarez we be sold to the next foreign club who makes a offer over 30 million ,sorry for bad news

'Sorry for the bad news'? How about in 24hrs time you write, 'sorry for wasting everyone's time with my post yesterday' ?

Yeah.......didn't really read beyond the "Daily Mail". Sure it was interesting,though.
ANFIELDPETE

You are talking utter tosh mate

It sounds like your Uncle does indeed work for the Mail.

What bad news?

Why do people like you even bother making up this sort of stuff ? All that time typing that could have been spent on something useful, like sweeping those Mr Kipling crumbs off your duvet cover. -SH-

What a load of cobblers!

Yep, heard same fro local NW journal friend.
and it's true that KK was not on the journey home with the rest of the squad...now unless he's out on Mumbles Mile..?!

Why would they have suarez face plastered all over the site in the new strip if this was the plan. Serious utter crap {Ed016's Note - He has already said he wants to stay. I think he is the type of player that if he wanted to leave he would probably just say so and it would be obvious}

Dont sack king kenny it is not his falt liverpool are losing its the players!!!

Be a bit stupid selling your best player won't it, NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN

Sounds like the sort of thing the media would like to see happen (so they can fill in the gaps) rather than likely to happen to me.

The Mail is simply a sniping tool against LFC, for Man Us**ted fans , end of !

To be fair to Suarez, Evra didn't exactly reach out for Suarez's hand (or make eye contact). If I were Suarezx, I wouldn't have shook his hand either. Btw, if Dalglish does get sacked it will be because they finished 8th in the league, not because of the incidents you mentioned.

13 May 2012 19:45:31
Much as I was one of the scoffers at earlier posts, I have just heard from a very reliable source that KK is not travelling back with the squad this evening but is heading for meetings with club officials whilst John Henry is involved in his own meetings linked to appointment of new manager - decision already made apparently and talks are purely to confirm fine details and discuss how and when announcement will be made.
As I said, I was most sceptical at earlier rumours but this comes from a very reliable source within ESPN.
RedFred

You're spot on here my friend. I want to hear the doubters apologising to the owl by tomorrow evening pls

The Owl

I was also told that Kenny was not traveling back with the squad by my friend who saw the squad at Cardiff Airport

just got back from the Swansea game, by the way Liverpool were terrible, out played in midfield. Caught a conversation with 2 Swansea fans in the premium lounge who said that Skirtle had put in a transfer request, has anyone else heard anything, just wondering, big disappointment if true. What do you think Eds.

Evered
{Ed002's Note - Read the posts please.}

Ed's - what's with the 'read the posts please' when anyone asks a question (upon a new visit)? Work it out! These 'visitors' contribute to the hit count, thus your revenue!

Think on!! Indulge, and earn!! {Ed002's Note - Do you want to read the same answer repeatedly? I have no revenue from this.}

Yep cos Swansea fans know the ins and outs at anfield

This is true skrtel is off

I dont know why some people are pressing unbelievable, ive just relayed what i heard not saying its true just finding it a coincidence with all the rumours and him not playing.

Do you think skerts would be modeling the new kit if he was going to jump ship, he will not be leaving {Ed002's Note - Imagine that, wasting all of those photographs.}

They are pressing disagree to the validity of the rumour being correct, not judging the muppet who wrote it. I for one don't think there is anything more reliable than 2 swansea fans on a train. as to the coming and goings at Anfield.

Its true he has requested a transfer,he needs it for his next tattoo!

Ed002 - if you do what you do for no reward, fair play to you fella! I appreciate that 're-hashing' the same ad infitum must be onerous. However, consider your audience: you being 'in-the-loop' (so to speak) and 'party' to info gives you a certain kudos to us humble 'subscribers' - to have our carvings dismissed so hurts! I need a hug!!

Thanks for the effort (I do understand, honest). {Ed002's Note - I will just delete all repeat posts if that is what you want.}

He didn't play today because he has an operation on his broken nose. Nothing to do with this farcical rumour. He is going nowhere. Kenny has already said the only player to be going is Aurelio.
Nigel

If players don't want to play for the club then they should leave. Skirtle is no great loss.

Tony Barrett from the times has tweeted that this is completely untrue? Carlos81

Anyone who believes anything written on (where this carp came from) obviously also believes in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

?? Would LFC Fans consider the folowing players ??

- Matt Jarvis/Wolves.
- Juniour Hoilett/Blackburn
- Clint Dempsey/ Fulham
- Jordan Rhodes/ Huddersfield
- Ricky Van Wolfswinkel/ Sporting Lis
- Olivier Giroud/ Montpellier
- Lukk DeJong/ FC Twente
- Javi Martinez/ Athl Bilbaou
- Adam Lallana/ Southampton
- Gaston Ramirez/ Bolonga
- Steven Fletcher/ Wolves
- Ezequiel Lavezzi/ Napoli
- Robertp Soldado/ Valencia
- Fernando Llorente/ Athl Bilbaou

Personally from the above list, i would like to see
- Dempsey
- Llorente
- Martinez
- DeJong
- Soldado

How likely are they EDs
And who would other lfc fans like to see at the club, i am interested in peoples oppinions.
Last season everyone wanted Adam and Downing and now they have flopped everyone is blaming the king !

LTP the red {Ed002's Note - Using the search function will tell you if there is interest. There is no point me cutting and pasting in the same information.}

Well i'm not sure its true that everyone wanted Downing and Adam, especially Adam and for good reason. He was made to look good in a poor team and has been found out in a (slightly) better team.
Tom

Ye won't get Javi Martinez who is likely to go to either Barcelona, Man City or, hopefully, Man Utd.
Don't stand a chance of getting Lavezzi with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Man City interested.
Personally, I doubt you will get Llorente or Soldado either. As far as I know, Barcalona and/or Real Madrid want Llorente. Not sure who, heard one of them are lookin at him.
Man Utd are supposedly going to bid for Giroud, and PSG are also interested. In all honestly, he will probably choose United above Liverpool, no offence.
Van Wolfswinkel is wanted by a few other clubs aswell, not sure who at the moment.
Hoillet has alot of clubs after him and I think West Ham have or are going to make a bid.
Dempsey is wanted by Arsenal and Everton. I think he will choose Everton because Landon Donovan has reccomended them, but if Arsenal or Liverpool make a big enough offer, Everton will be out of the race to sign him.
Not sure about Ramirez or De Jong, alot of clubs are probably looking at them too.
Finally Jarvis, Rhodes, Lallana and Fletcher aren't exactly top class players, and after the season Liverpool had, I'd say Daglish will be trying to get better players, although I've heard he won't have alot to spend at all.

Breeno

I can assure you that I didn't want Adam or Downing and I don't think many fans did! Half the people on your list we have no chance whatsoever of getting. Of the ones that are realistic I would go for De Jong, Ramirez and Dempsey. -SH-

Wow. your good. k.k. has just said he is signing all you have listed. get a lift and get off champ manager.

A very concise list that took ages. Why couldn't you draw up a managers list? I think that's more important and immediate!

Eds has a player put in a transfer request? Don't know how true it is , just wondered if you had any info in the situation {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware of but rumours exist that Skrtel will.}

13 May 2012 19:03:15
Any chance of Cabaye Ed's? {Ed002's Note - Probably not.}

13 May 2012 18:56:55
I think that we will let Johnson, Maxi, Kuyt, Aurelio and Adam leave and bring in De Jong, Dempsey, Coleman, Bent and Munain.
Whats the chances of af least a few of these being correct? {Ed002's Note - A few are probably correct.}

Coleman from Everton? Rather keep Adam

Might as well keep them then as the difference isn't big enough for all the hassle!

13 May 2012 18:48:14
Hi Eds and all,
We are In Europe and won silverware, would have liked a top 4 finish but hey.
Outs I think we all know, but ins must be a striker, right winger and attacking midfielder.
Rasmussen Elm sounds like a good prospect, striker I would like Luuk De Jong as he has all we need, winger.... Why oh why did we never play Glen Johnson there, he has all the attributes, it bewilders me that we have never done this as many fans see the same as me!
Anyway, it will be an exciting close season and Euros.
Eds, your work is much appreciated and you have busy days ahead; all the best.
Bazzaa {Ed002's Note - Thanks.}

Often wondered why Johnson wasis never played 'right-half' too!?

13 May 2012 18:47:10
Any chances for unexpected or EPL winning quality signings? Or would we be poaching players from lower clubs like we did last season?
Cheers

Daniel.O

Same again

Definately Poaching

Poaching? We paid through the nose for the 'privilege'. Hardly poaching, is it?

13 May 2012 18:46:27
ed was just wondering is there still interest in lewandowski he hasnt been mentioned on here for quite some time

thanks {Ed002's Note - Dortmund's Lewandowski has been watched by Liverpool, Rubin Kazan, Spartak Moscow (who are concerned about losing Welliton) and Lille. I very much suspect Bayern Munich would be top of the list with a cheque in hand should he not agree an extension at Dortmund but Dortmund certainly do not want to sell him to BM. At present they have been unable to reach agreement over a new deal but that does not mean that they won't.}

13 May 2012 18:40:37
hello eds, do you think todays match against swansea will have any influence on the decision to kenny having another year as manager or being replaced? thanks. {Ed002's Note - None at all.}

Kenny out please.....

13 May 2012 18:17:31
Hi eds.

Was just reading a quote of liverpoolkop and it was quoting dalglish as saying "there MAY be some business done but, Thel not be mucg change" please tell me u dont believe this. And were do these quotes come from as its not inany paper or when he was talking on liverpool website this wasnt said? {Ed002's Note - I can certainly see him saying "hel not be mucg change". We will see.}

Lol Eds, maybe that's a lost dialect of Scottish?

Ed02 sarcasm is the reason I read everyones post!
Kp

LiverpoolKop is ran by a Jamie Kanwar who isn't interested in the club. He just wants hits on his website. He's money orientated. Its only when he delves into the clubs finances is he interesting.

13 May 2012 18:12:14
Any more news on the expected statement tonight Ed's?
Thanks

Burnsy {Ed002's Note - Nothing - and I don't know that it was meant to be today either although I noticed some press had suggested it was.}

Won't this 'statement' be the statement regarding the freeze on season tickets from next season?

@Glanton1892

Ed, are you talking about the Martinez rumours, that was in the press today?

Thanks

Blair Mayne YNWA JFT96 {Ed002's Note - No Blair. There was mention to the press on Wednesday or Thursday that a statement would be made once the season was over. For some reason. some took it to mean right after the game. Questions have been asked but all I can do is say (a) it is true that the press were made aware that there would be a statement; (b) I have no idea if it is still true; and (c) I don't know the subject matter.}

Hello Eds/Macca/LiverpoolFans,
Poor season for Liverpool, but the signs are bright, unless we invest heavily again in the summer I can't see us finishing top 4 next year, but a decent league position, and a decent Europa League campaign would do just fine for me! Some positives to take into next season :
- Carroll has finally started to look half decent
- Henderson has shown promise on occasions
- Lucas will be back and will no doubt be key to our midfield
- Downing can only get better (I think?)
Lets make sure we support Kenny if is still here come next season, and get a decent DoF in to handle the signings.

JamietheRed

Downing will not get better, he is terrible and possibly the worst transfer in the clubs history.

They all need a red hot poker shoved up their Arsenal's.

How far we've fallen to accept this s**te mediocrity, always next season. we'll be out of it by next october with nothing to look forward to but "the next season"

Signs r bright!! Wot games r u watching mate

The signs are bright ? wtf, worst finish in a long time, miles away from the top, a non performance in the fa cup final and a lucky win in league cup does not constitute the signs being bright

You should support the team not the manager , his buys and tactics have been very poor this season, everyone forgets that these players have been playing in the EPL for many years , so why were they so poor ,

52 points, 1,37 points for each match. The avrage points was 1,38 a match. 47 goals in 38 matches.We have ended up as no 8, 6 and 7 the last 3 seasons. We need to change manager and bring in 2-3 players that will be in the starting 11.

We are some 35points behind the top two!! You call that progress and bright. We got the worst home record since the 50's. I think KK should take the blame and step down graciously. He chose the new players at inflated prices and his tactics were disarray and confusing. We need to reshape the management and the talent scouts. I hope the rumours about Martinez remain a rumour. Just because he saved Wigan from relegation does not make him an ideal choice for Liverpool. Are we saying that Liverpool will be fighting for survival in the premier division next season? If so then he is the logical choice. Remember Hodgson. He did well at Fulham and now WBA but never really settle at Liverpool. At the moment I believe the better choice would be AVB, Capello, Klopp and Rafa.

I agree in principle with what the original post assumed. That this season was the start of rebilding and will take two or three years to get back into CL and Prem contention. I though Kopited were supposed to be loyal and Dalglish was supposed to be a hero... there has been little evidence of this on these pages in the last few weeks/months.

13 May 2012 18:00:53
Things will get better. At last this good awful season has drawn to a close. We need to a depth and quality to our squad next season starting with a winger, SG's replacement and a goal scorer. My realistic choices would be Susueta (24 years old, right wing), Mousa Sissoko (22 years old, central midfielder) & Luuk De Jong (21 years old, Stiker).
I think that it is funny how Utd fans have commented about us being plastic City fans. I support everybody against Man Utd and I expect there fans to support everybody against us.

I meant god awful not good awful.

Liverpool scouts at montepellier tonight to watch younes belhanda. {Ed002's Note - They are the world's most stupid scouts then.}

Why? (Ed002) {Ed002's Note - Belhanda is banned.}

Well that's one way to shut them up. Laughed a lot when I read that

Ha ha love it, there should be a page with posts like this to cheer people up

,laughed so hard igot hiccups

13 May 2012 17:42:37
Hello Eds,
does any of you think that Milner is possible, that he would be a good signing and that he's better than any of the likes LFC have got right now? {Ed002's Note - I think that opinion may not be shared by others.}

This post made my head hurt.

How about rhodes from huddersfield ,suits the nesv profile and where did we sign rush from,did denis law not start out at huddersfield too

13 May 2012 17:19:39
Just to keep you in the loop, I have had it confirmed that KK will not be joining the team on the return journey home this evening. He's due to meet advisers and FSG reps regarding the details of his move upstairs whilst Mr Henry and advisers have second conversation in 2 days with a certain Spanish native...and it's not Rafa... {Ed002's Note - Is it Torres back as player-manager?}

Who are you?

Where is he meeting mr henry? mumbles mile?

Yer right

And what do you want here?

Brilliant Ed002!

I can confirm that the above post is true. Mr Henry and co meeting in London this evening. Watch over the next 24 hours and all will become clear.
The Owl

Is it Seve, the new bar manager?

No one on here knows nothing ppl talking crap an everyone giving answers like fortune tellers I'm of the opinion it could happen are you serious someone tell something worth while like yes kenny sent scouts to watch Wigan to see Moses or something I hate liars

If you mean Martinez, why would we want him? He has done well but he has even less premier league success than Hodgson and far less than Kenny.
If liverpool get a new manager there are only a small handfull that are good enough, respected enough, and available.
I am actually a Rafa fan, but is it wise going back? Kenny didn't perform the miracle we all wanted either.
Only Mourinho and Guardiola are capable of sending the fans and players into a frenzy, but I doubt they will join. Why would they want to join a non-champs league team? On the other hand I think Liverpool would provide the ultimate manager challenge to prove how good they really are - so if it's a challenge they are after, it could be perfect. (But it won't happen).

You're the only LOOP mate!

Why would we want Martinez?
1. He spent 100 m less and only lost 3 more games.
2. His teams play fearless, attacking football
3. He is Spanish and will appeal to players from the major sources of footballing talent
4. He is good with the media
5. He will be relatively cheap should it not work out.
6. It buys us a year while we wait for Guardiola or Klopp

Do you mean "in the words of 007".....
martinez shaken not shturred mish moneypenny...

1. He spent 100 m less and only lost 3 more games.

What are you on ya lunatic!! Wigan lost 17 games in the league this year.
Unai Emery is a brilliant young unemployed manager we should be going for, oh and Spanish too lol {Ed002's Note - Not completely unemployed - he is considering a lucrative from Spartak Moscow.}

Ed002 is torres really coming back as our manager tell the truth now :) lol you put your hand out for this lol
Eam

Eeehhh...wait...Julio Iglesias? Generalissiomo Franco? Manuel from Fawlty towers..? Tell-tell-tell-tell!!

Nunez as manager with josemi as no 2
jeff:)

13 May 2012 15:34:26
HI eds great job
by the way I read in that giroud is dreaming of premier league shift.At the moment we and arsenal are the only clubs interested in him.But arsenal have a great striker already.And also heard that bayern munic left him(left the chances of signing him) because he is very much gomez type.So what do you think is our chances on signing him.
Indian red {Ed022's Note - www.player-profiles.co.uk - look at the profile on Giroud.}

13 May 2012 14:53:30
Hi ed, just been listening to local sources and journalists who are of the opinion Martin Skrtel wants out of the club with a potential move to city on the horizon. Just wondered if you'd heard any news on the issue. Keep up up the good work {Ed022's Note - No, its a lie.}

13 May 2012 14:37:42
ed's can you shed any light on this ..talks**te r saying skrtel is leaving at the end of the season...hope this is just utter rubbish ...dave d {Ed022's Note - It's nonsense.}

Cheers 22 ....dave d

13 May 2012 14:25:19
looks likely that kuyt will be allowed to leave for regular football elsewhere, what a great servant to lfc, a ready made replacement would be milner, would do well for us next season

13 May 2012 14:12:01
any chance of luc castinogos? {Ed002's Note - It is by no means certain that Luc Castaignos will leave Inter but Liverpool interest could be rekindled if he is made available I suspect if he leaves it will be a permanent transfer rather than a loan that Inter will be looking at although a poor season means it may be difficult to find a club willing to take him on a permanent basis}

13 May 2012 14:04:28
hey eds,
i relle hope this martinez talk is garbage. just cause he keeps wigan up doesnt mean he is suited to the lfc gig! what are your thoughts on this eds?
do you think its all manager of the month fever or this is the young manager FSG policy?
cheers {Ed002's Note - I have no idea right now - sorry.}

Martinez would be way better then kenny who is a joke. The worst manager ive ever seen.

Couldn't agree more. If Dalglish is to be replaced (which I don't think he should be just yet) then it should be with a proven top-level manager, who has experience of winning titles & building teams at big clubs. Martinez just doesn't have this experience. What exactly has he done that is so outstanding that he deserves a shot at the Liverpool job?
For me appointing Martinez would be a huge gamble, which I just don't see working. The fickle fans that we have at this club just won't give a manager time unless he's up there challenging the likes of Man Utd & Man City after just half a season.
You only have to look at the way they've turned on the living legend that is Kenny Dalglish this season. The same will happen to Martinez after a run of bad results. To be honest I'd be really surprised if Martinez lasted more than a season at Liverpool because of the pressure to deliver that he would be under. Then we would be back to square one again. Sorry Martinez fans!

If FSG appointed Martinez, I can only think that it is because he would be cheap. Not because of his management skills. Other managers like AVB or Klopp etc would most likely demand a higher salary. I hope I'm wrong,buts that's the way I see it.
Lee73
P.s If Kennys the worse manager you've seen, you must only be about 15months old? There have been far worse mate. There will be a lot of humble pie eaten next season.

Being Welsh, I hear about events at clubs like Cardiff and Swansea closely. Swansea have been a success story in the Premier League this season and have been praised highly for the way they play. Let me tell you, this style and philosophy was implemented by Martinez during his tenure as manager at Swansea and this philosophy has been adopted by Paulo Sousa and Brenden Rodgers since.

Reading about FSG and the way they want to run us, it wouldn't surprise me if they appointed a young manager. AVB was linked to us a while back actually. I think if we appointed Martinez now, it would be a little too early into his career in my opinion. He needs more experience at a club mid-table, pushing for a top 10 to top 7 finish to see just how able he is as a manager. West Brom would be an ideal cub for him actually, particularly with Hodgson going.

13 May 2012 14:00:35
hello ed just walked by melwood this morning and one of the directors was coming out and I overherd a 55m bid edison cavini {Ed002's Note - Did he say if was pounds or euros?}

Think it was 55 million grains of sand ed

55m Zimbabwe Dollars more like

Yeah he said stop starting non goer rumours , they rejected 60 million euros from real madrid he's not coming

Lira probably

Well im sure they were pulling your leg trying to see if youd believe it

WOW What big ears you must have grandma to go with your big Nose !

Oh we're talking about currency. I thought it was a distance of 55m, like some sort of restraining order.

So they were coming out of Melwood. Not in a car where were they going the bus stop!!

Kev the Red

Cheers for that informed gossip[ Batfink!

Cracked me up editor

Walking out of Melwood? These guys have top of the range cars and in some cases their own drivers why the hell would they be walking? Theres more chance of seeing them ride out on elephants. What a d***.
Sorry eds some of these people are diluded to think anyone would believe such nonsense.

Thanks for posting that eds, I really needed a laugh :)

13 May 2012 13:52:51
I honestly think we have a pretty decent squad and first 11 , the only real gap is a goalscorer and a right winger. I heard both suarez and Carroll were targets with the thought they would play alongside Torres before he turned his back on us and it show.

Personally I would love to see the Montpellier duo Girond (spl) and Belhanda. They're exactly what we're looking for and should really be our first choice. Obviously the likes of Ramirez or De Jong are great alternatives who I would also welcome. As for the CM problem, I think if we can get a decent RM then Hendo will do a stellar job in CM giving us the numbers needed.

Keeps up the good work eds :D
Buster

This man speaks the truth

The best signing we could make would be Torres ,he would suit both suarez and carroll perfectly and i genuinely believe kenny bought suarez to compliment ,not replace the spaniard ,20 mill maybe

Are you having a laugh...
Torres would crap himself if he had to come back....
GROW UP

13 May 2012 13:50:26
personally i dont believe these martinez rumours, i think kenny will be given till xmas so if we not anywhere near top 4 then he will be moved upstairs or sacked. by giving him till xmas and it doesnt work out the new manager will have the january transfer window to bring in his players. makes sense too me eds...

And where are you going to find a decent manager to takeover mid season exactly?

Not to me as you won't get anyone who hasn't been sacked or not in a job the best time to install a new manager if thats what lfc are doing would be between now and before the new season starts

January is as poor a time to make squad additions as it is to recruit the manager trying to make them.

Does anyone really belive this...............
I really think sadly it time to go Kenny sad but..Brendan Rogers your taxi's here

Poor football for now................

13 May 2012 13:36:44
Hi Eds,

Is there anything new on Sigurdson?

Any Chances of Signing him? Who is in for him this summer?

Many thanks {Ed002's Note - Swansea are keen to take Sigurdsson on a permanent deal from Hoffenheim but face opposition from PSV, Zenit and, reportedly, Juventus. It would not be a surprise if Liverpool became interested.}

Any chance on signing clint dempsey
for £12 million {Ed002's Note - Possible.}

13 May 2012 13:32:50
Great site, i've checked it everyday since i found it.. Supposedly Martin Skrtel just handed in a trasfer request (probably just another twitter rumour)? But have the ED's any idea who we might look to repleace him if he does leave or would they look to brining in Kelly CB, and playing him and Coates more next season? {Ed002's Note - It is all very much conjecture right now so there is nothing really to say beyond guess work.}

Unless Liverpool give him more money, which he's probably earned this season compared to others in the team, I think he'll want to go...

A tranfer will be his big pay day, remember they get a % of the fee. so, he's probably at the top of his game now and can get the biggest fee now. Fee is bigger the fee, bigger the slice...that's the way a lot of these players think. It's their retirement funds so to speak.

Personally, I'd keep Aggar and Skrtle in the middle for next season, they've got a good understanding. So pay him the money instead of having to rely on a new paring next year and having to start from scratch with a defense yet again!!

How much is consistency worth to a club? Utd have thrived on it for the last 15 years!

Believe nothing you read on or that quotes as it's source.

What a load of.....he didnt play so he must have asked for a transfer

SG didnt play so does that mean he's off....really

13 May 2012 13:21:15
Kenny to get another year. Expect to see bids for Muniain, possibly Javi Martinez, and Gary Hooper from Celtic

13 may 2012 12:41:51
the last few years it has been very hard to be a liverpool fan and this season certainty has been filled with ups and downs. i don't think i ever remember lfc losing so many games in a single season, let alone 6 defeats in 7.

it makes me sad to think that tottenham and newcastle could be considering targets like hazard for example, even if he won't join them. we are no longer linked with top talent. we used to have alonso, mascerano, torres on the books, true world class players. now we only have 1 in luis suarez.

anyway lets hope kenny is given a bit longer as he has built a strong squad that outplayed most teams last season and the positives are that we play attractive football. we just require a few top class additions in key positions this summer and i believe we wil challenge for the top 4 again next season. here are my suggestions based on current rumours circulating:

ins:
dm - mohammed diame (wigan - free)
am/r/lw - gaston ramirez (bologna - 16.7 million)
am/r/lw/st - clint dempsey (fulham - £8 million)
st - nigel de jong (twente - £12.5 million)

outs:
lb - fabio aurelio (free)
am/r/lw - maxi rodriguez (free)
rw/st - daniel pacheco (£1.5 million)
cm/am - roberto aquillani (£4.5 million)

hopefully dirk will stay as he can still be a very useful member of our squad. he deserves first team football and if he wants to leave we will wish him all the luck in the world.

truered.

Luuk De Jong!
Nigel plays for City
StoneCold

Very hard to be a liverpool,it shouldnt be hard u either are or your not.since 2001 check out how many finals we have been in.your basing your targets on rumours.dempsey 8m at his age

ste liverpool

Sorry mate but kuyt has been awful this season.

Mighty reds

Diame is apparently off to everton and dempsey is supposed to favor them too

Roberto aquilani ?? Nigel de Jong twente r u pissed?

^^^ hahaa comment above really did make me lol

Was Roberto any better than his brother who we have loaned to AC Milan at present?

Its Luke de jong not nigel de jong

To*ser

Nigel de jong from fc twente...oh ok then

The season is not just one to forget it proves no hoper will not win top four let alone the league its gone for a very long time

I'd be welcome to an Aquilani return.

Luuk not Nigel who isn't a striker & plays for Man City. Alberto Aquillani not Roberto

13 May 2012 12:30:28
Hi Eds,

Not a rumour but just asking, what's the chances of us getting Banega? He's pure quality and will get better too so definite value to be had. Also do you know if Rafa is being considered for the managers job? It's a no brainer for me, lives local, loves the club, first class manager........I could go on.

Regards

Jamie {Ed002's Note - Banega was run over by his own car and is still, I think, injured. I don't know what is going to happen about the manager's job. Macca and Balague say another year for Dalglish.}

Banega run over by his own car lol
I only thought Brian Harvey was the only person to be that special...

Long live the lion king

He was taking up at the petrol station and didnt put his car in park, and it trapped his ankle between the tire and the curb, painful stuff!

McSnuggles

13 May 2012 12:29:21
I think Diame would be a useful free transfer. Hints of Martinez influence or 2+2 journalism.

Going to everton

13 May 2012 12:24:19

Thoughts on the Diego Forlan rumours?

L4Red{Ed002's Note - Forlan will very likely leave Inter and head to Atletico Mineiro in Brazil.}

13 May 2012 11:52:35
Just got a very interesting phone call, probably BS but apparently kenny himself has been doing the deal with wigan and martinez as his first act as a senior director of the club, the deal will probably include spearing goin the other way permanently, and shelvey going on loan with guarenteed 1st team action when possible, and then a 1st refusal for Martinez to bring a couple of players/staff to liverpool. FSG to give a sizeable budget but does not need to be spent. Expect young foreign talent that has already been scouted to be coming in and then a couple of players of Roberto's preference.
As kenny has said dont expect many outs, except Aureilio, and the above forementioned. Possibly Maxi if a suitable offer came in (foreign/lower PL team)

Your post might have a bit more credibility if you signed it, mate.
ANFIELDPETE

Was the call from Kenny?

13 May 2012 11:48:21
Hi Eds/Macca
Radio Merseyside is reporting that we have offered Roberto Martinez the Liverpool job just wondering if there was any in truth in this? Thanks
Gaz

Seems to be the rumour doing the rounds, could be interesting.

I just cannot see the big attraction in Martinez.He has not achieved a lot as a manager and I would have expected FSG to look for someone with a better track record.
CR

Its on skysports

Likely the top choices are not available this summer. By top choices I mean Guardiola, Mourinho, or Klopp.

Rafa or Laurent Blanc after the Euros?

13 May 2012 11:48:09
Any chance Liverpool could be interested in Kevin Gameiro eds? He would provide us with a different option up front as he has the pace to make runs behind defenders and is very cool in front of goal.

He doesnt seem to be part of Ancelottis plans either may be up for sale?

AZ {Ed002's Note - Gameiro will leave PSG as they look to replace him with Higuain in the summer. Lille appears to be his likely destination at this time.}

13 May 2012 11:44:22
Hi Eds, where do you think Hulk will end up, his agent has confirmed he is seeking a move away from Porto, and do Liverpool have any interest?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - Where Hulk ends up is largely driven by price. I would not hold your breath over a move to Liverpool.}

Realistically only city and Chelsea has the financial capabilities to pull off such deals.

13 May 2012 11:38:42
Eds, thnks for this website.I read this more than other website regarding liverpool transfer/rumor. Need to ask you:-
-is it possible Raheem sterling will become backup winger for downing nxt season? He got accurate cross n know his role as winger very well.
-Who we are going to buy for defensive mid position? Hendo n Spearo clearly not gud enough,inconsistent performance. Lucas injured,then we got no quality DMF.
-i expect lfc going to buy winger,striker n dmf midfielder,provided johnson stay. Right?
-i can see Jonjo can replace Stevie role behind striker if he's injured. So no need to buy another AMc right?
-when we expect lfc will make move for Luuk de Jong? Is it after last match or early june?

Thanks for answring..
RedWarrior'lfc {Ed002's Note - Sterling is very young still and will no doubt get an occasional cameo next year. After Christmas he will be able to go on loan and that may be good to get him experience. I don't know what is being planned for the DM position but Lucas is to return from injury still. I cannot say when Liverpool might move for De Jong but he cannot complete a transfer before July.}

Hendo not good enuf,give the lad a chance at least u idiot.all u plastic fans used to slate lucas.try learning from mistakes soft lad

I'd say we go for De Jong and Muniain. Ed's, Any idea of price tag on Muniain?

YNWA
Carl {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

I would say 18-25 million would be my guess {Ed022's Note - Perhaps a little more..}

Finally sum1 on same page as me 2 perfect signings.

Roberto martinez will take over liverpool as quick as monday morning, how i no 50% of back of papers say it and surely if it wasnt true the back of the papers would be talking about city and man utd FACT

Cheers dude needed a laugh

Poe's Law.

TSP

Oh dear lord

You mean like they said on Sky Sports News this morning.

Cringeworthy

It's on SSN as part of their PAPER REVIEW. ie, it's the papers wot wrote it NOT Sky nor the BBC even though it's on their handily titled GOSSIP page. So to be clear, neither Sky nor the BBC are saying Martinez is going to be LFC manager.

13 May 2012 11:24:26
I would not be too disappointed with Momo Diame. decent player from waht i have seen, n a good back up for lucas who wudnt throw a tantrum if benched.

Further to my post yesterday, I can now reveal that KK spent yesterday afternoon saying farewell to various club assistants including catering and ground staff.
News likely to break in press conference tomorrow morning but he is indeed moving to a new role within the club boardroom.

Owl

Then why would he say goodbye to catering and groundstaff, if he is still gonna have a role within the club? Lets just wait and see what happens ey?

If he is still going to be at the club why would he say good bye to these people?

Wouldn't be saying goodbye then

Why would he be saying farewell then if hes not actually leaving the club??

Why would he say goodbye if he's not leaving the club!

Omg you are surely a dinkus

Cp

The owl that has carried the self contradicting rumour has just been shot.

If he's going to board room level then he obviously won't be spending too much time with the ground staff and catering team for match days you doink. Think he's just wanted to keep things transparent with those guys who hes been seeing on day to day basis, non?! Not so unwise after all eh?
The owl

Keep digging owl, youll soon have a hole to bury yourself in.

Kenny Dalglish has said goodbye to everyone at the club just to say hello again? Either this is complete nonsense or you have a half truth and the goodbye is because he has no further part to play in the current club set up. He is a very influential person. Maybe too influential to be hovering over someone elses shoulder. Just a thought.

Hha.Quick tip if youre gonna make a rumour up think it out"see ya later maggie thanks for the tea,ill be all the way over there now and won,t see you,unless of course im thirsty and the machines broke"

13 May 2012 11:16:39
Not a rumour and I don't look on this site that often so forgive me if I'm going over old ground but I was wondering (eds?) if there has been any interest in Dembele from Fulham. The guy is an absolutely class act, comfortable on the ball when surrounded by players, skillful and can glide past players. I've been making a point of watching him whenever fulham play and i've barely seen him put a foot wrong. Also he's proven in the premiership which is more than can be said for most of the names mentioned on this site {Ed002's Note - There seems to be a lot of unconfirmed interest in the player from what appears to be all the EPL sides including Liverpool, Manchester United, Spurs, Chelsea etc.. What we are lacking is any confirmation at this time.}

13 May 2012 11:14:53
Hi ed's great website and brilliant work. Were has every got this rumour that skrtel wants to leave? Also if G.Johnson was to leave in the summer who would be the ideal replacment and would Kelly be moved to Centre back(back up) ?

Thank's JFT96 YNWA
Red Star's {Ed002's Note - The Skrtel rumour may have come from goal.com. As for Johnson, if he were to leave and Dalglish did not want to promote the youngster Isla might still be a good option.}

13 May 2012 10:55:54
Ed002 when can Liverpool approach Diame (or any out of contract PL player) after today?

And Is there any interest from City for Cavani (Not lfc relevant) Just want to know if there is a chance of him coming to England Suarez will enjoy a companion in England too {Ed002's Note - Only in the last month of their contract - so June. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea maintain an interest in Cavani.}

13 May 2012 10:53:12
Any previous interest in Klass Jan Huntelaar eds I think he'd be ideal up front for us he's just the player I think we need to convert our chances. I know he's 28 now but he's also in his prime and i think he'd be more prolific in the prem than Luuk De Jong personally.
cheers
Skurks {Ed002's Note - None from Liverpool that we are aware of, but I understand he is open to hearing any offers made to Schalke, but they certainly do not want to sell as it is going well for him in Gelsenkirchen.}

OK cheers for that Ed.
Skurks

13 May 2012 10:37:46
Ed the times are saying that it is possible that kenny's role will be changed and a young coach will come in. Is it too late to try and tempt AVB? Our owners wanted him last time {Ed002's Note - It is not too late to make an offer but I do not know that the interest is there from Liverpool. As I have explained before, I would not expect AVB to be at Liverpool this summer.}

13 May 2012 10:31:46
Hello ed! You said that liverpool cant hold talks with Mohamed Diame yet, why is that? Also think he could be an alright buy {Ed002's Note - He will be out of contract this summer so the rules allow him to talk to clubs from different leagues from the new year but only clubs from the same league for the last month of his contract.}

13 May 2012 10:27:43
hey eds

can we start buying players tommorow? {Ed002's Note - Only from English and Welsh clubs.}

Do you think we will buy anyone from english clubs, because the only player i can remember you saying we have intrest in is matt phillips {Ed002's Note - I don't know right now.}

13 May 2012 10:15:00
what the hell are we going to do with diame?
we got adam, henderson, lucas gerrard........
why -o- why. please dont be true!

and 60k a week, oh s**t. if this happens then it just confirms that kenny is clearely dilusional(spellings)

John

I would much rather go fro Mousa Dembele- much more creativity there than Diame

Mate, chill out ... The 'Daily Star' are saying he wants out 'cos Martinez has left him out of the team, yet it's the same article which reports Martinez is going to Liverpool!? IT'S THE DAILY STAR!!

Perhaps Roberto Martinez is taking over from Kenny and bringing with him all the players that helped Wigan reach the heady heights of 16th in the Premier League?

Bahaha i think that diame is an improvement on the likes of adam, henderson and lucas. All three of them players are useless, i think it is worth a try. BTW please don't overcrowd this page with your worthless bulls**t! You clearly don't go the game and watch the s**te that is henderson, lucas and adam. Evidently you are just a lazy arse liverpool fan who watches the match from his armchair.

Terry. YNWA {Ed022's Note - This post has to be sarcastic. You're calling someone an armchair fan because they think Lucas, Henderson and Adam are good players. Granted Adam isn't the best, but for crying out load get a grip.}

We need a back-up DM. Spearing isn't as good as Diame. Therefore, we get Diame. Simples.

That is, of course, if there is interest in him.

TSP

A very good cover for DM which we desperately need in case lucas gets injured again, for free with prem experience that can play most the europa league games and the owners will be very careful with the wages paid out after the debacles of Aqua, Cole and Poulsen

Dodge

Agree with the other poster. Diame is a good back up to Lucas. much better than spearing

13 May 2012 10:14:02
Im sort of inclined to believe the Diame rumours, i personally believe the announcement after the game will be KK stepping down.
With Martinez stepping up?
Roy + Konchesky?
Roberto + Diame?
StoneCold

Roy was a 60+ something with mediocrity all his career Martinez is just 38 inexperienced yes but at that age no manager will get a big job to prove himself (ok AVB was an exception but he didnt play football so that was a reason) and Diame is different to Konchesky he is a free he comes as cover and he is really good when he was at Rayo he wa slinked to Real and Barca and recently almost went to Seville

Martinez wouldn't be my first choice, but he wouldn't be a bad one IMO.
His tactics and man motivation is what has kept wigan in the EPL for 3 years.
With Konchesky & Diame i was trying to say they followd their managers?
I'm probably wrong but i thought i'd just put it out there.
StoneCold

There wont be any announcement

Sorry for the cut/paste ed but this is really imprortant news :-

Now angry Liverpool owners target Ayre as Anfield purge continues
By Joe Bernstein

Ayre attack warning: Liverpool's commercial director facing the ire of owners

Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre is under scrutiny as the club's American owners continue a review of the club.

With three high-profile casualties already, and manager Kenny Dalglish worried about his own position this summer, there is no indication the Anfield purge is over.

Dalglish has been forced to come out to defend his record as he waits to find out if a managerial change is to be made.

It is more likely, however, that the club will give priority to finding the right personnel for key executive positions.

They recently sacked director of football Damian Comolli, head of communications Ian Cotton and head of sports science Peter Brukner and want to ensure that if Dalglish continues as manager, there is a strong team around him to allow him to concentrate purely on football.

Principal owner John W Henry and chairman Tom Werner are demanding to know why Liverpool failed to challenge for a Champions League place this season and are angry at the negative worldwide publicity surrounding the Luis Suarez-Patrice Evra race abuse case that saw Liverpool's star striker banned for eight matches.

Ayre, whose commercial skills are highly valued at the club, is under fire for not taking command of the Suarez affair and allowing the confrontational Dalglish to be perceived as driving club policy.

In particular, the owners feel that no expense should have been spared in hiring the best lawyers with expertise in race relations to put the Uruguayan's case to an independent FA commission.

The club used solicitors McCormicks - experts in sport, media and entertainment law - to represent Suarez, assisted by Liverpool's general counsel Natalie Wignall and club secretary Zoe Ward.

The case was heard in acrimonious circumstances with Dalglish accused of prejudging the outcome by allowing his players to wear T-shirts in support of Suarez before a game against Wigan.

Liverpool play their final game of the season against Swansea City on Sunday, battling neighbours Everton for seventh place.
And that's not what Henry had in mind when he bought the club and bankrolled a £110million spending spree on new players.

If Dalglish digs in and resists the changes afoot at Anfield, replacements such as Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez will be assessed.

Where did u get this from?? {Ed002's Note - I assume from one of the Sunday papers as a number of people have posted it. As far as I can tell there is nothing new here.}

Isnt ayre respobsible for negotiating a record shirt manufacturer deal, aswell as a record shirt sponsorship deal? making lots of money would seem to be fsg's intention, unless the lack of a stadium sponsor is the reason, which would mean they were finally eager to start.

13 May 2012 10:06:19
I think Mohammed Diame on a free transfer from Wigan Athletic would be a very shrewd piece of business.

Good cover for Lucas Levia, at a great price with fair wages, with decent Premier League experience and at the right age (24).

It would mean Spearing could leave club, as next season he may find it harder to get first team football, not withstanding injuries in the middle of the park like this season, such as Gerrard, Adam and Lucas.

Ollieston

Absolutely agree He is a good midfielder not just a DM either he has pace power and decent going forward, and I think he can be quite good not topclass but can be really good

Will act as excellent cover in the midfield. The way I look at it, who would you have as your cover? Spearing or Diame? {Ed022's Note - Diame.}

Spearing wont be going anywhere; he has bags of potential, been with the club some time now

13 May 2012 09:54:16
I really don't believe we need any new creatvie cm I think with johnjo, Adam,Gerrad and the man I think will be better than Alonso! MR Fernandez Saez aka Suso this boy has real ability and I am shocked that he is not spoke of more for me he will be a world class player and at 19 I think should already be starting in the first 11 next season massive shout I no but that's what I think.

Alfiedean.

Suso has been pushed out wide by Rodolfo whilst playing for the reserve and youth team. He played his better games as cm and he lost some form because of the change but got back towards the end of the season. I Presume it is to turn him into a wide attacker similar to the likes of Mata an not all out winger. Still given time, this lad will be better than Mata. Looking forward to pre-season to see if him and Sterling break in to the squad.
D.Liver

Suso's been very inconsistent this season - he has the talent to make it but he's not ready yet. A few cameo appearances next season and hopefully challenging for a first team place the year after.

Kieran

I thought Suso was only 18...

TSP

I am sure he is 19 think he is 20 this year or maybe turned 19 this year

Alfiedean

13 May 2012 09:46:26
As soon as I seem the 60K a week with Diame I assumed its b*lls**t..

KKM

Would the 60000 not cover his signing on fee as well..so his basic wage might be closer to the 35-40000 a week which wudnt be bad in fairness

13 May 2012 09:39:27
Hey ed, do u see martin skrtel leaving the club? if yes, r there any cbs that we have been looking at?
Indian Buzzer {Ed002's Note - I really don't know if he will or not. There will be speculation today as he is not playing, but I guess the coming weeks will tell.}

Put this rumour to bed now. He's quoted on his website that he isn't playing because he's had an operation on his fractured nose.

Stone YNWA.

I don't know where this 'rumour' has started from, but it certainly seems out of the blue, which gives it a sense of maybe carrying some weight and truth too it.

I find it a touch strange though, as Skertl has been the less vocal about things such as this (Champions League), than compared to Daniel Agger who is also being linked to Barcelona. Whilst being quoted as saying things like ''Maybe we aren't that good.'' When being questioned over the under par performances of the squad this season.

Just my thoughts.

Skrtel's website: "Now we play our last game against Swansea but I will not take part in this game since I underwent a minor surgery." There was still a small fracture in my nose so the doctors did repair it."

13 May 2012 09:36:40
hi edds keep reading bout diamme of wigan just liked to no wat position he plays and is he any good also has skertel broke his nose u said he is having surgery? cheers edds

mike {Ed002's Note - Diame is a defensive midfield player and I am sure there is much interest in him. Skrtel has indeed had cosmetic surgery to make his nose that bit cuter.}

13 May 2012 09:28:47
let the rumours and bidding wars begin

according to SSN, Hazard has confirmed his desire to leave Lille in the summer {Ed002's Note - I think you may be on the wrong page.}

Agreed Hazard will go to Man City

City bound 2 words I am happy with that too always didnt mind City atleast he won"t go to Utd

Your a couple of months out of date too

13 May 2012 09:25:33
I, to be honest thin that we need two strikers brought in,not to relpace suarez but in my opinion we need an experienced striker like defoe to play alongsid suarez to get the goals as I am still not convinced that carroll will get us the goals we are lacking and also luuk de jong and therefore making the strikers fight for their place in the squad knowing they have to get the goals the be starting next week. I would also buy a creative midfielder like Gaston Ramirez and, unless we lose skrtel and agger we shoudl not need anyone else, just try and bring up some talent from the academy like stirling and suso.

13 May 2012 09:19:15
Liverpool closing in on Wigan midfielder Diame. 60k per week for him. Deal is close.

13 May 2012 08:51:49
said we'll sign Momo Diame.
Eds, what are you think about this ?

Mala_Reds {Ed002's Note - Perhaps. Liverpool cannot yet talk to the player but we will see.}

Diame isnt even in the Wigan first team at the moment

How come we can't get him tomorrow, as he plays for an English club? {Ed002's Note - He is contracted until June 30 and can talk to players from foreign leagues in the last 6 months of his contract but not anyone in the English league until after the Form 18 process is complete - which effectively means June. The only change to this is if his contract is cancelled by Wigan.}

13 May 2012 08:39:24
Morning eds and fellow reds . Story this morning is kenny upstairs and MARTINEZ from Wigan in .any thoughts cheers psv {Ed002's Note - None.}

13 May 2012 08:19:45
I know the Star's a pile of carp but they're saying that we could get Roberto Martinez in if Kenny goes!
They also say Momo Diame from Wigan is set to be our first signing.
Mind you, they also think a dancing dog is worthy of front-page headlines!
ANFIELDPETE

Hey leave the dog out of this pete!!lol

LAVERS

It's paper talk.
Not true.
Kenny gets one more season to prove his value. Everyone around him are under pressure and fsg are bringing in their own board managers and executives.

A pile of carp? That explains why their stories are so fishy!

The dog is worthy of front page, hes class!

13 May 2012 08:17:12
Diame rumours true eds? {Ed002's Note - There may well be interest but they cannot be speaking to the player yet.}

13 May 2012 07:56:34
Two papers reporting that Martinez will be Liverpool's new manager

I hope this is true, Martinez is, I think, a really good manager, understands the PL, and would push us forward i think.

Steve

Not good enuf

13 May 2012 07:07:08
Hi eds. Good morning. I just read that Unai Emery has left valencia. Yesterday was his last game in-charge. Do you think liverpool will try and sign him as manager for next season ? Thanks.

MIHIRED {Ed002's Note - I really don't know. Sorry.}

I think he's already took over a Russian team {Ed002's Note - Nothing is firm yet but Spartak Moscow looks a likely destination. It would not be too late for a counter-proposal.}

Unai emery has signed for Spartak Moscow!

Steve

Only 1 ex valencia manager i want rafa

He's had minor surgery on a nose fracture...

Russian club Anzhi tried to sign him last summer.Seems they are very wealthy.Probably offer more in wages than LFC
CR

Is it because it could be carraghers last game

13 May 2012 06:49:51
what's happening with Elm, did we sign him or we pulled off??
also we should expect the following players to leave this summer:
Aurelio -free
Cole - 3-5mil.
Maxi - 3-4mil.
Pacheco - 2mil.
Ecclestone - 2mil.
Aquilani - 6-7mil.
Darby - 1mil.
Wilson - 2.5mil.
Amoo - 2mil.

Players on top of our shortlist:
O.Giroud ~15mil.
Dempsey - 10mil.
Eriksen 25mil.+

{Ed002's Note - Juventus, Spurs, Manchester United, Lazio, Roma and Liverpool have shown interest in Rasmus Elm but there has been no bid, no discussions about price and certainly no agreement over a move - regardless of what people have said on Twitter. Liverpool will no doubt look to press ahead with a move for the player very soon. He cannot actually complete the transfer before July 1.}

13 May 2012 03:29:09
One can't blame Martin Skrtel (if rumour is true) for wanting to move on and play CL, I recall some talk of Agger to Barca recently as well. Both are in their late 20's (28, I think), so it could be realistically expected.
Will be difficult to replace, and a bit sad though!.
That's football!.
It would certainly alter LFC's transfer plans.
Lack of CL football, is still our major stumbing block.
One wonders if the club will only go for players who are under the age of 25 now, with the hope of securing CL in the next 1-2 years.

Let the transfer circus begin.

I've been told that both Agger and Skrtel have been subject of bids by Barcelona. 100% garunteed
RayJ

Don't think they'll be too inspired by the Martinez rumours either

What do you mean you cant blame skrtel for wanting to leave. i for one would not that i think he will be but liverpool fc and fans have stuck by him for a long time, even tho he has been a lot less consistant than he has been this season. id blame any player already at a big club showing no loyalty to that club and fans that has stayed loyal and supported that player even through their not to good times, the player having one good season and handing in a transfer request to another club that now show intrest need to remember the club that stood by him and the grass isnt always greener on the other side. so after all the time,effort and support skrtel has had at LFC. if he handed a transfer request in after all this shows no loyalty which is a rare comodity in todays football. he is already at a big club played in 2 cup finals this season already earns more than enough a week that would take the average man here about 3 years to earn what he gets in 1 week not exactly hard done by is he.

13 May 2012 02:48:59
Im sick of seeing silly rumours. I've even seen berbatovs name mentioned. Plz eds, can you tell me who we are interested in and who we have no chance of signing?
{Ed002's Note - You need to read the posts - there is plenty to say about players who are of interest to Liverpool and plenty to say about those who won't be signing.}

13 May 2012 02:25:08
Hi eds,
I have heard many times that when suarez leaves we will get a "high profile" replacement for him.
My question:
Why we can't just buy such a "high profil" player to play alongside him?

And also,
Any eds said a few weeks ago that we would be looking to bring in this "special" player who can make things happen that we lack. Is this still the case you think?

Cheers
Philip {Ed002's Note - Without knowing which Ed told you about this "high profile" player or this "special player" I cannot answer your question.}

13 May 2012 01:13:32
Hello Ed's and fellow Liverpool fanatics! Question Ed's, I'm sure it will be covered extensively tomorrow so thought I'd get in quick. Do you know anything on the rumour of Skrtels departure? I read previously about the possibility of AC Milan having a look should Thiago Silva leave, have you any more to say where this sudden rumour has sprung from? Thanks for the good work and good luck for a long summers work! {Ed002's Note - The rumour seems to have come from goal.com (which is run by a Liverpool supporter) or maybe they picked it up from elsewhere. It was done to death yesterday so hopefully there will not be tgoo much today. There will no doubt be some speculation as he is not playing today - but he is having some cosmetic surgery on his nose.}

Thanks for the reply Ed!

13 May 2012 01:07:04
This is without doubt the best fantasy site on the net ....God! I love it

Bet youre a spam fan? {Ed002's Note -

It is also very addictive and one day will cause me problems at work.

Long live the King and the Eds

12 May 2012 23:47:15
If we are interested in Soldado and De Jong, would we only sign one of them or both?

I'd be happy with either, they are both qualities we need. {Ed002's Note - Signing both may depend on someone leaving.}

By someone leaving I think he means Suarez. Either way de Jong and soldado wud be nice up top. {Ed002's Note - No, that is not what I meant.}

12 May 2012 23:29:54
been reading the site for a while but posting under a name for the first time
ed do you think liverpool may look into the loan market in the summer players like krasic,elia,adam johnson and other good squad players may become avalibale
cheers
lfc liam {Ed002's Note - These players may have been available on loan previously but their clubs will look to sell - slim chance of a loan for Elia still I guess. But the clubs want the money.}

13 May 2012 00:07:34
I have as good a source as most (I believe) and can reveal our transfer activity will primarily revolve around the following;
OUTS;
Johnson..........£8-10m
Aurelio............Free
Spearing..........£3-5m
Maxi...............£4m
Kuuyt..............£3m
Pacheco...........£2m
Ecclestone.......£2m
Darby..............£1m
Aquilani...........£3-4m
Cole................£2-3m
Poulsen...........free - £2m
Amoo..............£2m
TOTAL............£30-38M
----------------------------------------------------------
POSSIBLE OUTS; Reina,Skirtel,Agger,Sterling,Suarez
----------------------------------------------------------
TARGETS;
Rasmus Elm.....£8m
Soldado...........?
Muniain............?
Luuk De Jong...£11m
Dempsey.........£9m
Hoillet.......£6m compensation
(If we lose Agger and/or Skirtel...a CB or two )
----------------------------------------------------------
Sterling, Coates, Kelly, Wisdom, Coady and Suso to get more first-team action and, depending on departures, Flannagan,Robinson,Silva and Teixera.
----------------------------------------------------------
Macca was right when he said there'd be lots of activity this Summer but it won't be by getting rid and replacing last Summer's buys. If we sell Suarez, Skirtel, Agger and Reina the "kitty" will change and the quality of targets will be enhanced.
----------------------------------------------------------
Kenny Dalglish will still be at the Club come August but, in whatever capacity, he'll go if we don't bolster FSG's coffers sooner rather than later.
----------------------------------------------------------
I fear we may lose some of our more valued backroom-staff soon. It is truly an over-the-top ownership at the moment which will divide the fans opinions!

ITKop (formerly known as...?)

What a load of codge whallop!!

You sir have no clue, if we get rid of all the players you have listed we wont have a squad

This post lost all credibility when it stated we would get a fee for Poulsen and Maxi...Miami_Red

Why would we pay hoilett 6 mill in compensation?

POSSIBLE OUTS; Reina,Skirtel,Agger,Sterling,Suarez

Really?

What a clown!! Maybe we should sell Gerrard, Anfield and the Liverbird. At some point you have to say that you're a complete embarrassment to yourself and your family.

Maybe we should just play our under-8's each week in the EPL and then you'll be happy.

Why is it that you have figures for all of these players but not for soldado and muniain?

Sorry, but that has to be b****cks- paying 9m for a player like Dempsey who is rapidly aproaching 30 is so contrary to FSGs transfer policies it's ridiculous.
Still, you've got another couple of months to make up plenty more garbage.

Formerly known as...someone with no source except his over excitable imagination?

Hmmm. May be you need to cut your "source" loose then because Poulsen has already been released, for a start. I highly doubt we will be selling Johnson at all but if we do, we would be demanding a much bigger fee then the one you quoted as he's still very highly rated around Europe. Your numbers are also generally way off: £2m For Ecclestone, and the same for Amoo? £4m for Maxi? Really? A tad optimistic dont you think? Also you really think we will be signing THREE out-and-out strikers PLUS a second striker. We don't have much of a chance in getting Muniain either IMO. {Ed002's Note - The situation with Poulsen is slightly more complex in that Liverpool have been paying most of his wages this year and the contract covering that and his time at Evian will only be completed this summer. He will then become a free agent.}

Poulsen left in the summer to evian {Ed002's Note - It is a little more complex than that but he will be finally off the books this summer.}

I carn`t believe you took so long to write out this much of utter garbage. never heard so much dribble.
