Hello eds n reds!
I know its probably nothing, but read a rumour in sunday people about klopp having interest in Havard Nordtveit of borussia monchengladbach? Any truth? As I said, probably nothing, but as a fellow norwegian it would have been fun to see a fellow countryman put on the red short again. Haven't been anyone since Riise if i'm not mistaken?

Hi eds, not necessarily Liverpool related but wanted to ask if you knew what the plan is for Torres this summer?
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any "plans" per se but Milan won't want him back and will be happy to see him move on. Among several offers he has already had to think about is one from Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao which is seen to be very lucrative. As that looks unlikely to be taken upduring February they are now looking elsewhere. I could only speculate but I can say one MLS side has some high profile representatives in Europe looking for a striker, but I suspect the MIddle East might to be a viable option.}

Absolute crying shame that, wasted the peak years of his career. Sure the money has compensated but in terms of his esteem then the last 5 years must have been awful for him.

I get that Ed002 but has he ever truly looked happy with his lot in life during that period? I'd guess at not really. Now he just gets passed around from pillar to post like he's unwanted at just 31.

I take your point regarding the medals ed 2, but I think that johnnyr1970 means and I could be wrong is that he was once one of the most feared strikers on the planet. now no one wants to know about him, Chelsea, milan or even his beloved atheletico Madrid. his value has gone. my guess is that he will end up in china. ps ed2 I only mentioned Chelsea because he won his medals there, it was not a attack on Chelsea personally.

He was at his peak for us, he was playing first team La Liga football aged 17 so, like Owen and Rooney, they peak around 25-27.
