Hi Redmen,

Sorry its late but here is the weekend/ last nights loan update

Awoniyi started what I think was his debut for NEC Nijmegen. However things didn't go to plan and he was substituted after 72 minutes with the team 4-0 down.

Flannaghan didn't make the bench at the weekend as Burnley drew 1-1 with Wolves. Does anybody know if he is injured?

Ryan Kent played for 60 minutes at the weekend as Barnsley won 2-1 against Preston.
He played for 80 last night as they won 4-0 away to Wolves!
Barnsley are currently 3rd in the championship

Allan was an unused sub as Hertha Berlin beat Ingolstadt 2-0

Danny Ward kept a clean sheet at the weekend as Huddersfield won away to Leeds 1-0.
However he spilt what should of been a routine catch last night leading to Brighton scoring in their 1-0 win over Huddersfield
Huddersfield are currently top by 1 point

Bogdan and Wigan have suffered back to back 2-1 defeats.
Bogdan could do nothing about the defeat at the weekend to Sheffield Wednesday however he made an absolute howler in last nights defeat to Norwich gifting them the opener.

Jack Dunn played for 80 at the weekend as Morecombe lost 5-1! at home to Doncaster

Ryan Fulton Kept a clean sheet as Chesterfield drew 0-0 with Oldham.

Wisdom came on in the 78th minute to make his debut as Salzburg beat Admira Moedling 4-0, Salzburg are currently 3rd in the table

Lloyd Jones was unable to prevent Swindon losing 2-0 to Oxford at the weekend.
However last night they made it through to the next round of the cup with a 2-1 win over Chelsea U23's

Sam Hart was an unused sub as Port Vale drew 2-2 with Peterborough thanks to a last minute equaliser

Markovic came on for the last half hour to make his debut as Sporting beat Moreirense 3-0. Sporting are currently top of the Portugese table

And that is your lot.

Cheers Carra, from what I gather from your posts Danny Ward seems to be doing very well at Huddersfield, hopefully he improves and impresses enough to get his chance next season.

Huddersfield are the surprise leaders in the championship which wouldn't happen unless the whole team was playing well.
I know a poster on here works at Huddersfield stadium so he could update you better than I can but by all accounts they are very impressed with ward over there.

Lovren back in then move Lucas into midfield to replace Wijnaldum for this game I'd hope.

totally agree with you there Johnny. I think Lucas sits and let's henderson move that little bit forward and we'll be that bit more secure defensively. I've been impressed with the midfield up to now too. How far off is Emre Can / karrius? Other than that I'd be happy with either studge/ Couts / firmino.
I fancy us to get a decent result tomorrow.

Wijnaldum has his best game for us so let's sacrifice him in favor of someone who shouldn't come out of the side to start with. I DUNNO MAN SOUNDS LOGICAL.

Wijnaldum did have his best game so far, no question, but we're playing a different team, away from home, with different qualities which pose different questions. Lallana has played himself into the team ahead of wijnaldum, so what would you do to make us more robust in midfield/ defence?

I would not change a winning team but if I could, I wouldn`t mind changing Wiji for Lucas as Johnny posted. That would allow for more steel in midfield which would allow us Hendo to match up with Kante in CM. But I know it won`t happen.

LFC will need to make use of the wide play as I would expect chelsea to operate a potential 352 or the front two may not be the traditional type as hazard will no doubt play off costa in a free role.

However to further my first post I would expect Lucas to be the player who comes out the team not Gio

YNWA.

With Kante in there, I'd go for the more pacey option, which is wijnaldum.

Well Amerigo, I'm happy to admit when I get it wrong. Wijnalddum was fantastic last night. Tremendous performance from the whole team. I thought the midfield 3 and our two centre backs gave great cause for optimism. Keep it up redmen.
