read rumours stating we are going to pay whatever price is asked to sign Kroos from Real Madrid. worth a laugh so understand if it ends up in banter, but I must say I would welcome Kroos and have him in my football manager team for Liverpool so it must be feasible! Lol.

There's reports coming out we have agreed a deal for Grujic and he will remain with his current club until season ends.

Not sure if this is true and I haven't seen anything of the player so can Pantone confirm?

Saw similar reports.

Deal is for £4.3M, with him staying on at Belgrade until the Summer.

The metro is reporting this so I don't believe it. Although the echo is saying that we are interested but no deal is on place.

Posted on here last summer Eds that a guy in work who lives near Henderson in Formby, said he spoke to him last summer, and said Liverpool were looking at Demarai Gray when Bodgers was in charge. The move never came off, but do you know if we are still interested in him, and has his form been good this season. Also, roughly what would he cost, and who would you put him on par with in our current squad? Appreciate any responses.

That just sounds like an excuse as to whys its fine for klopp to buy him. instead of promoting someone from within, like everyone has been banging on about.

No but if that question was asked under brodgers then it would of been we have Kent, Wilson, ibe, Marko, ojo but if you want to replace them then great. (along them lines anyway and not just by you but whoever edited it)

But now its Klopp's rein and its more of a suggestive response by you, I'm not going to say we should by him but we don't have anyone like him.

Your honestly confirming none out of Ojo, Kent, Wilson, Tex, Marko or Ibe none of the above are like gray?

It was a quick answer because I was busy and none of those are really like Gray anyway. For starters Gray mainly plays on the left, which is a position only Wilson plays of those players you listed, as a main position. Wilson is a left footed winger, Gray is more of a right footed player on the left looking to cut in. So very different. Tex is not even a winger, so not relevant. It is clear you have never seen him play, so why are you trying to start an argument out of pure ignorance?}

{Ed001's Note - Kent plays on the right usually. Coutinho has no pace, which is Gray's game. So no we don't and clearly you don't have a clue what Gray plays like. If Ibe played consistently on the left, then we would have a comparable player, but he doesn't, so we don't.

Ignorance is showing as you have no idea what kind of player Couts is if you think they are similar! Origi would probably be the closest we have in the first team, the way he played after coming on against West Brom. But again, that is not his usual position, just him filling in there, so you can't say he is similar.}

That's how they play. I have watched for the past 2 years and tkent plays on the left, they may switch during games but he starts on the left. Is super quick and curs in on his right foot, exactly the same as gray. So claiming we have noone like gray in the squad isn't true.

Youth games are about learning, not about playing in a set role, Sterling played a lot as a full back for instance, are you going to suggest that was his position? Wilson broke through as a left winger, who got moved on the right for development purposes, until he is a regular first team player for someone, there is no definite position for him, but he has said himself he prefers the left. If we pull it back do you not think if promoted Kent could play on the left for us instead of going for yet another player to block the youths path.

Kent and gray both counted as left wingers, do you think there is a major difference between the styles of the pair of them. Just style not experience.

You really don't watch the youth if you don't know Kent is absolutely electric in pace and yes he does have plenty of skill.

Both on the left Kent can do exactly what gray offers and more so your point is over with.

Markovic, Pace and intellegence, Play through the middle as well on the flanks, he could cut in, hit the byline, he slows down to reach a player ahead of him, he could pick a player ahead of him and has a decent finishing abilities.
