Ed02, is there any update on Cuadrado? You said a while back we'd 'had him watched', and I was just wondering if there are any updates on this situation. Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - There is nothing particularly new, certainly nothing involving Liverpool.}

Hello ed,
reports suggest we may be going in for H. Mkhitaryan again this year. is it true?
also reports suggests we are interested in Schmelzer from Dortmund. what's your view

Believable1 Unbelievable11

{Ed002's Note - Schmelzer makes some sense as he is a left back which is a position Liverpool need to fill. However the club has been looking elsewhere. I am not going to bother to answer about Mkhitaryan.}

Henrik Mikitarian had his chance and blew it

ed do u no if we have bid for dani parejo and do u no if we won't both him and lallana thanks

Believable13 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - There has been no bid but I expect there to be one. The club would like both players.}

I am very surprised we could be bidding for Parejo. He will cost something similar to Parejo. Do we even have that kind of money?

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I am betting he Parejo will cost exactly the same as Parejo.}

Hi Ed 2, sorry I have to disagree I have seen parejo play a few times last season and although his performances have been very similar to parejo I think he comands a much bigger transfer fee. :-)

Agree1 Disagree0

Man, I spend way too much time here. I need some sleep!

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed, surely the club will be looking to move someone from the current midfield on if they want both Parejo and Lallana?

Gerrard, Lucas, Allen, Hendo, Suso, Coutinho, Texiera and Parejo & Lallana?!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Suso has been out on loan and I have explained before what his situation is. I don't know how many games Texiera has played for the first team but I would not naturally include him in this list. You need to remember that the club will not be confident about getting both players.}

I'm with Ed02, we can bet on it if you like AG?

Agree1 Disagree0

Sure Puzzled. The winner gets to be the LFC page Queen of the day.

I really hope the Pajero rumours are false or we don't manage to get him. He appears to be similar to Alberto, which says enough. Apart from Continio and Sturridge, Rogers transfer record seems to be very poor. I am afraid if he signs Pajero, that will continue

Hi eds,

Do you think Rodgers will ask Stevie to quit international football after the world cup?

Believable20 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - he has already suggested it, as his comments made clear regarding him having a decision to make.}

Morning all.

Ed02. In March you said that Thorgan Hazard would return to Chelsea in the summer and the player would not be sold.

Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws reports that the player will return but is considering his position and that Jose is willing to either loan/sell him as he does not figure in his plans.

The report goes further to suggest both Everton and Liverpool are interested and that we have made contact with Chelsea as to the players availability for next season.

Is there any truth in the report as far as you know?
And what is your assessment of the player?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I answered this earlier but Everton is one of a number of clubs that have offered to take Hazard on loan.}

16 May 2014 08:36:04
Eds, have you heard anything about any clubs interested in any of our current players? Apart
from Real's interest in Suarez? I did read something
about Everton interesed in Joe Allen?

Believable8 Unbelievable7

{Ed002's Note - There is interest from Spain in Suso. Wisdom will attract interest from lower-tier sides. Napoli would like to do a deal for Pepe. Enrique has potential suitors in Southampton but they may challenge Liverpool for a left back if Shaw moves on. Real Madrid are joined by Barcelona in their interest in Suarez. I suspect Aspas will be of interest to clubs in Spain but money may be an issue. Alberto, maybe.}

Borussia Monchengladbach, Porto, Almeria and Sevilla are the clubs interested in Suso I believe. Dortmund had an interest previously.

Agger is of interest to Napoli and Juventus.

Derby would most likely do a deal for Wisdom, particularly if they get promoted.

Aspas was of interest to Valencia I think.

Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid were interested in Coutinho.

The player Southampton will challenge LFC with is Ryan Bertrand I think, though I think we have moved on.

Skrtel was subject to interest from Man City, Napoli, Zenit, Firorentina int he past, I don't know now.

Sunderland would like to take Borini I think. Jordon Ibe will have a lot of clubs looking to loan him.

Agree1 Disagree0

Regarding Barcelonas interest in Suarez; I read recently that Messi was encouraging the board to bring Aguero in.

We all know the power he has there, so that's another possibility to add to the mix. If Barca were to secure Aguero, that would eliminate one of the prospects from Reals list.

Let's face it, keeping Suarez is going to be the best thing we can do this Summer. I really, really hope we don't have another few weeks of him speaking out while at the World Cup. It could make this a long, tense couple of months.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I have explained the situation with Aguero and Real Madrid - you might want to check that.}

16 May 2014 11:30:40
Ed02, do you yourself expect Wisdom to stay or move on?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I have no expectations about it and really don't know.}

We were led to believe that Jose Enrique was only fit to lead a life as a one-legged pirate extra, with a parrot on his shoulder, and a patch over one eye in future features of 'Tresure Island" at the Liverpool Empire?

Agree2 Disagree0

Who do you think the left back might be ed?

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - There is interest in Rojo from Barcelona now as well and it was clear from the abuse that many of the Liverpool fans here don't want him any where near the club. Interest in Ryan Bertrand has returned.}

16 May 2014 13:56:24
Tragic that some fans behave like that! They are an embarrassment, now Barcelona will probably sign Rojo and he will excel for them. Bertrand as well have suffered on these pages.

Agree1 Disagree0

Any ideas on Fabio Borini's future ed, are Sunderland still keen?
Ryan Bertrand as LFC LB would be most agreeable, in my eyes btw.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - He wants to stay - we will see.}

Was that not Torres just before we flogged him to Chelsea for 50Mil.

Agree1 Disagree0

I have to say, I'd have no problem if we were to go for Bertrand.

Admittedly, he's not looked great for Villa during his loan period, but he's always been quite highly regarded and we've all seen what Brendan can do with talented players to help them push on.

Hi Eds

What do you know about Hazard Jr? I've read reports we could be interested in him- could this be a possibility?

Cheers

Believable7 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - Plan is to assess him this summer and I suspect another loan is likely with a number of clubs already having put offers on the table. The player will be consulted about where he wants to go.}

16 May 2014 08:08:55
Hi Eds,

Are there any legs to the rumours that Rodgers is looking to do a deal for Thorgen Hazard from Chelsea?
Think this would be a major coup, last I heard many in the know regarded Thorgen as a better quality prospect than Eden

Believable4 Unbelievable9

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest from Liverpool.}

Then if he was a better quality of the 2 then he be in Chelsea first team. We will only loan the player not sell him

Hey eds, I just want to know your opinion on the possibility of suarez leaving. If he leaves do you think we would look for one world class striker to bring in, or perhaps two decent forward players. Do you think we would be able to cope without him or turn into tottenham? Just wondering, thanks eds

Believable3 Unbelievable10

{Ed002's Note - I am not going to speculate whether or not he will leave but there is interest on him from a couple of sides. Consideration will have been given to what happens if he does move on but I am not aware of what the thoughts are.}
