Hey Eds,

Just seen an article on Tribal Football saying we're trying to negotiate a pre contract with Montoya of Barcelona this winter to move on a free for summer 2014. Is there any truth in this or is it just wild speculation. Also any idea as to who else we have looked at as a back up option to Glen Johnson at RB - we've suffered since he's bin injured due to lack of depth there.

Thanks (as always), {Ed002's Note - Martin Montoya has been subject to rejected offers from Napoli and a loan offer from Monaco who opted for Tavares instead. Arsenal and Inter made enquiries over the summer but Barcelona have made it clear they do not wish to sell him. Whilst contract talks with Barcelona are at a standstill because he is asking for guarantees they cannot provide, the interest of Arsenal remains. His agent has confirmed he is aware of interest from other clubs including Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen, and Napoli.

I will add that this is old not new news.}

Good player but we already have the very exciting young Ryan McLaughlin trying to break through and already have Martin Kelly & Andre Wisdom who can both play RB, we are very well equipped in this position.

With Athleticos interest in Coutinho how likely is it that he will leave? With Suarez going possibly in january it would be a huge blow to lose Coutinho also just when we seem to making progress. I appreciate its a very hard to say anything for certain but any news would be great {Ed002's Note - I don't expect him to leave in January.}

Hi Eds,

I was wondering if any of you have had the chance to see Harry Wilson in action and, as speculative as it may be, how you would compare his playing style and LFC's hopes for him.

Many thanks

Bryan {Ed001's Note - I have only seen him a couple of times, looked tricky and fast, but he was playing other kids and so he could have just been more physically advanced than them. I would want to watch him a lot more before I assessed him, as sometimes you miss the little things that make all the difference to a player being top class or otherwise. Especially at this age, as a slight physical advantage can make an average player look world class. Freddy Adu's whole reputation was built on that! LFC as a club rate him very highly though, hence why he got the Wales call up ahead of a number of other options Wales could have taken. I know a member of the Welsh coaching staff thinks he is the new Bale but better, but I would hold back on the excitement for a while yet personally.}

That's a great comparison the Ed mentioned there in Freddie Adu, Football 365 did a profile on 10 Superkids that didn't make and he was 1 of them. Let's hope he becomes the next Harry Wilson. On a side note I think it's wrong to include him in senior squad, but myself coming from a country that hasn't got a really good pool to choose from I can see there point of thought.

Connor Wickham would fall into that bracket as well.

which ever level he has played he is usually one of the smallest players on the pitch

Hi Ed001, sorry for the delay but I wanted to thank you for your response and comments. Much appreciated. Cheers, Bryan {Ed001's Note - you are welcome mate. And to the guy who said about him being the smallest usually, you are correct, but I wasn't talking about his height. I was talking about strength, power, speed etc, which is not always related to size. My ex is a Maori girl, one of her cousins was a tiny little lad at 14, but he was strong as an ox and already playing rugby with adults, because he was just so physically capable. I don't believe Wilson is like that, but no one will know for sure while he faces other youngsters. Rossiter, for instance, is also tiny, but he is a bull of a lad and can physically bully kids of his age group.}
