Ok... So furthermore to the Torres returns rumours...
Its not just on here that rumours are starting about Torres leaving Chelsea.. The daily Mirror is now suggesting he will go on loan in January.. and Robbie Fowler is now commenting on Torres 'regret' at leaving Liverpool.

As i said the other day, it looks very much like Torres or Chelsea are now engineering a way out, And that if that was the case then i would be very interested if ppl in the game or those closer to Torres started to comment on him in a positive way about Liverpool.. With Robbies comments about how the fans loved him and he loves us and prolly still does, it would seem there could be some smoke to these rumours... Will be interesting to see what further comments come from other Ex Liverpool greats!
Now i know that most of us do not want Torres back, so im not asking that question, what im asking is does anyone else think theres anything in this?

There's little if no chance of this happening in my opinion. He left, we moved on; it's all said and done. The Torres you loved is no longer; let it go, mate.

I wouldn't give up on that rumour it could gather pace and if the fans act like they want him back kenny would be more willing to show intrest... personally i think he is a brilliant player and bringing him back might be our only shot this year and his only shot to get back into spains team

Just because he regrets leaving us it does not mean he will be coming back, Hleb regretted leaving Arsenal, but he didnt go back, many players simply move on, fresh start and all that. Villa is not getting any younger, expect to see Torres go there, after perhaps a loan to Athletico Madrid.

If he leaves i doubt very much it will be to us. Malaga seems a more likely destination with there wealth, willing to pay his fat wage.

It will never happen. More than likely he'll go out on loan with a club paying a fraction of his wages.

Nothing in this. Torres had two assists in CL game and should have scored 2 or 3 today. He is coming around and will be the top striker. Anelka may leave. Sturridge will get more time. Drogba will be back up.

Torres isn't happy at Chelsea and Chelsea arnt happy with Torres.
Rumour has it that his Chelsea future will be decided in November and/or after the season.
Torres would welcome a return to Liverpool but that's not saying Chelsea will sell him to Liverpool.
Should Liverpool get him back for 20mill then that's good business as that would mean Chelsea gave us 30mill for nothing.
I doubt he will return and further doubt directly from Chelsea but then again this is football and things change

Let torres go he's a Chelsea player he wAnted that and he does not deserve our our empathy

The way Nando was treated was a disgrace. NESV did a Purslow style pr-spin against him. They loved the idea of 50m and are operating a sell to buy policy. ie trasnfer fees up but wages down.Hence our s**te performances in recent times.
Nando is one of us. A good man, not an oily sliver tongued yank.

My only concern is Nando's fitness. f***ed up courtesy of Purslow pressuring the doctors to tell Nando he was fit to play WHEN HE WASNT! (as was the case withe Gerrard).

He did score 3 in 4 matches under dalglish. He was definitely showing signs of improvement under him and with the players we have now he could be a real handful.

He would have to be driven from the city center to anfield on a float apologizing to every fan and score a hatful of goals before I would even consider to start singing his name again if he were to come back.

LFC need a striker to finish chances ,Torres was a great LFC striker - cheap at half the price & Dalglish has a history of selling the clubs best striker (Rush to Juventus) and then buying him back .

Lets look at this logically, our best players except Gerard were sold to pay for G & H debts, where instead of Torres just being an assassin in front of goal, he was dragged all over the pitch getting injured, then out of the Spain 1st team.
Chelsea came in last minute with a mental offer where on impulse he jumped to get away from G & H lies and promises NOT LIVERPOOL FC.
Torres loves scouse people and the pedigree of Liverpool FC, and realises his destiny is in a red shirt...he can't stand Chelsea way of life, totally different to Athletico and Liverpool.
Torres with Suarez is great business for LFC, so i would welcome him back with open arms, and feel with others wanting him back also, momentum could attract him back in the January window, to wearing the great red shirt again.

I would love to see torres return. I was a massive fan and was gutted when he left. The only thing about his return that worries me would be the crowds reaction. I know some of you hate the way he left and if you get on his back with 1 or 2 poor performances at the start, this might make the head go down and we have the chelsea torres. Not the one whose name was on the back of my reds shirt. If his return would cause a problem with the fans, I doubt KK will consider buying him back.

As much as it hurts to say.... I think the club would drive Stevie to Russia for 50 mill. The wages he would be on (if similar to Eto) you couldn't blame him for going and getting the big bucks in the twilight of his career.. At least it isn't a competitor.... Maybe this would be Torres near future as well?

just read on the BBC Gossip Page that supposedly Anzhi want Gerrard. On a scale of 1-10, how much is this rumour absolute bull? I'd say 11.

Reid the Red {Ed001's Note - I disagree, they would happily take him but there is a lot more to making a transfer happen than one team wanting to buy a player.}

I realise that Anzhi may want him but why would Gerrard want to leave? He already rejected money when Chelsea came calling so why is Russia a better prospect? I just don't see it from him, especially considering money clearly isn't a factor for him, hence his rejection of Chelsea all those years ago.
