Agger clearly isn't happy after his latest interview, be gutted if left but looks more likely now, we are overrun with centre backs and still linked with more! I no we aren't interested right now but would be a good deal for us to offer Agger plus money for Sanchez, if he was to leave still hope he doesn't though.

Believable20 Unbelievable8

{Ed002's Note - Sanchez doesn't play for Napoli.}

I know its expected but would be absolutely gutted if Agger left. Much prefer him to Skrtel, would rather play Sakho and Agger (i know they both play LCB) but I Agger is one of my favourite players

Good chance Dagger off to Naples then Ed to join the Rafa revolution?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I have explained the situation and you have driven him to the airport. Could you collect Mangala and Cavani whilst there.}}

You think he's nailed on for Naples then ed?
Good luck if so. If Liverpool had more players like him over the last 20 years we would have had many more seasons as good as this.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I am pretty sure that I avoid the use of terms like "nailed on", "will sure as Guaranga is my lord join ..." and "I was lying stoned on the floor of this LA mansion listening to Chunga's Revenge when Marty Feldman said to me ....", etc. Mikey.}

Every player has his time and now it's Aggers. The club has to continue to go forward and improve. Agger has been good for the club but he has also been well rewarded for his efforts. Other, better players have left when it's their time, the club goes on.

Lorenzo insigne would be a fine alternative Ed002

Agree1 Disagree0

Everyones reading far too much into what Dagger said.

He was asked "Can you live with being the third choice". he answered that he could not. Nowere did he say, i'm third choice so i'm leaving, and Ekstra and then other media have blown it up. Most of the British media hasn't even bothered commenting on it. And Ekstra are basically Denmarks answer to the Daily Star. Not really that reliable.

Have to agree with you Ed.
I posted in January he was off to Napoli and a bid from them was imminent. Then Agger played at Oldham and was injured.
Been a great player for the club, but age and injuries combined I think if we can get a fair deal for him I would let him leave.
Good luck to the lad. I wish him well.

Hi edds, anytime I've seen a Nathan Redmond play, I've been impressed (scored 3 tonight), what clubs are interested in him as he's much better than championship quality? Thanks

Believable9 Unbelievable9

{Ed002's Note - There is none I know of.}

Edd002, you mentioned sanchez in a part exchange. i'm assuming Suarez?

Believable4 Unbelievable23

{Ed002's Note - Why assume that? They would be happy to listen to offers and two clubs are showing an interest. They would also be open to using him in part exchange. The world does not revolve around Suarez, but I am sure they would be open to the idea.}

We should not let suarez leave unless we get a £80m+ deal, I've seen barca sanction crazy move for ibra £56m + etoo something like that, £70m + sanchez for suarez would be good business tbh

have we shown any recent interest in nathan redmond?

Believable0 Unbelievable7

{Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

arda turan, interest or no interest?

Believable3 Unbelievable21

{Ed002's Note - Not from Liverpool.}

Do we actually have an interest in javi Martinez?

Believable3 Unbelievable27

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Hi Eds,
First time poster and was just wondering what are the chances of Liverpool moving for the list of players Barca have said are now available. I know Mascherano has already been touted about but what about Pedro or Sanchez as they both would improve our squad significantly and also give us another option in attack.
Thanks for your time and keep up the good work

Believable14 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal and Juventus are interested in Sanchez but Barcelona are also willing to use him in a part exchange if needs be. I don't know of any Liverpool interest in Pedro.}

Hi Eds, I read the Echo earlier. Can't remember if it was on the rumours section but I read that, we along with Arsenal are interested in Milner. I've also read that, Milner has told Man City that, he wants to leave. Arsenal are said to be leading the chase and are preparing a £10million bid. Personally, I'd have him even if he's priced at £20million. Could you shed some light on this? Also, could you give us an insight on South Korean striker Son Heung-Min?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Believable3 Unbelievable19

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest from Liverpool in James Milner. A number of clubs have been looking at Bayer Leverkusen's Heung Min Son even though he only moved last summer. Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, CSKA Moscow and Juventus have all had representation at recent games.}

Do you see interest rekindled in konoplyanka if lallana doesn't come to Liverpool. which looks like the case

Believable10 Unbelievable23

19 May 2014 14:26:59
Maybe. Perhaps we will go for Shaqiri.

PS: Love the new text box Eds.

Apparently Man United are now interested in Kono, and had him watched at a game last night.

Hi Ed 1 (if you're about) Do you know any noise about Ian Ayre taken away from transfer negotations?

Believable8 Unbelievable21

{Ed001's Note - no.}

Wish it were true. Admittedly I don't know too much about the inner workings of a football club, but from what i've heard Ian Ayre is poor when it comes to closing off deals and is far better suited to business negotiations (e.g. Dunkin', Subway, Warrior)

Agree1 Disagree0

Ian is there to make sure the system which the owners installed at the club is working. He is also responsible for the financial side of any deal. He does not have a say in any football decisions regarding players and he's great at closing deals. I don't know whom you heard it from but it's not true.
