Posted back early March about us being in talks with Fulham for Ryan Seesegnon. Been told this morning by the same contact at their academy that a deal is done, £12 mil with some hefty add ons.

Not trying to be negative, but how can we agree a deal for 12 million when he hasn't even signed a pro contract with Fulham?

adam real madrid are supposedly paying 61mil euros for a 16yo brazilian never even played in first team and apparently has to stay in brazil until he's 18yo, so why shouldn't liverpool pay 12 mil for a 16yo whom has played first team football and is highly rated by our club. You all say you want to compete with the big clubs this is just one example of how you do it.

Bruffio, if yoir talking about vincius Jr he has signed a pro contract, he already had one with a 30m release clause which just went up recently when he signed again to 45m he has played for the first team just wasnt a great debut.

Bruffio - I'm not saying we shouldn't sign him for 12 million, I'm questioning whether such a transfer can even exist for someone who hasn't signed a professional contract. If I'm wrong then fair enough.

Isn't the £12m agreed with Fulham to compensate for development? Eds is that right?

Money aside I would be made up to get him, I think he could be a stalwart of our side for years, and we need him and TAA to cement their positions.

Sessegnon, Pereira, Brandt - anyone else is a bonus.

my point is that in football as i see it, its cutthroat market where (with the help of greedy agents) its an expensive market for clubs which are none or seem to have money. Now fans want our club to compete in the market with the barcelona, real madrid, etc, so while i don't thinik we can buy multiple 1oo mil price-tagged players we need to compete smarter and buying players like sessegnon, yes it is a gamble but its another way to compete, but i must add their development is then up for you in no way are you buying the complete article, the one most recent slap in the face for us is dele ali we should have had him and look how he turned out.
