Hi Redmen,

Great result at the weekend! let's hope this kicks on to be a great season!

Here is the weekend loan update

Awoniyi started for NEC Nijmegen at the weekend for the second week running however was substituted at half time in their 2-0 defeat. i'm not sure if this was tactical or due to injury.

Jon Flannaghan was an unused sub as Burnley lost 3-0 to Leicester

Ryan Kent started and played for 70 minutes as Barnsley lost 2-1 at home to Reading.

Allan was an unused sub as Hertha Berlin continued there impressive start to the season with a 2-0 win against Schalke.

And Danny Ward and Huddersfield continued their impressive start to the season with a 2-1 win at home to QPR. Huddersfield sit top of the championship.

Adam Bogdan helped Wigan keep their first clean sheet of the season with a 0-0 draw at home to Fulham. Bogdan was rarely tested as Fulham only had one shot on target.

Jack Dunn played the full 90 and hit an equaliser from the spot as Morecombe came back to beat Cambridge 2-1.

Ryan Fulton helped Chesterfield beat Northampton 3-1. This result is more impressive when you conceder it was Northamptons first defeat since January.

Wisdom was not in the squad as Salzburg beat Austria Wein to remain 2nd in the league

Lloyd Jones sat out Swindons 2-1 victory over Bury due to suspension following his red card last week.

Sam Hart was an unused sub as Port Vale beat Gillingham 2-1

Markovic played the final 15 as Sporting lost 3-1 away to Rio Ave. They remain top of the league.

And that's your lot.

I believe Wisdom tore his thigh muscle. Not 100% certain on that one though.

Ryan Kent was really unlucky not to score! Hit an absolute screamer from about 30 yards that thumped the cross bar.

Dunn is playing in league 2 so still a long way to go for him, but he is a regular for Morecambe which indicates he is not out of place at that level.

Ward and Kent have both picked up where they left off last season. Ward is getting rave reviews in Huddersfield and they are top of the championship so he is clearly doing well.
Kent again is a regular in the championship so does not look out of place at that level. For me at times he tries to do to much but he is young and learning.
