Ed what are the chances of hypia or carra gettin the managers role next season {Ed002's Note - They won't.}

{Ed022's note - brand new player profile on Cristian Tello of Barcelona, he's also my Player of the Month for March after several impressive performances. Let me know what you all think over on the site. www.player-profiles.co.uk - thanks all.}

I'm sorry but I've never understood the people that click 'unbelievable' on these posts, can someone explain?

{Ed022's note - I really have no idea mate, it always baffles me as well if I'm honest.}

I cant seem to find this on the player profiles site mate, am i just being blind?

cheers {Ed002's Note - It's you.}

Yes it was me, i can see it now, sorry, would love to see this guy come to us but can not see it happening.

I have heard bernd schuster ( former real madrid manager) has said on turkish tv, he has been imformed by lfc he is on there list to become our manager, eds do you have any info on this? If it is true or not? RedTurk {Ed002's Note - You are breaking the news in my world RT. I have heard nothing.}

Is that not the teacher off glee

Bring back rafa he knows what to do

I think we've already seen what happens when a former manager returns. This club dwells in the past far too much. We need to move forward with a fresh face, we are in free-fall at the moment. There is no team spirit, not enough quality, players in wrong positions, poor tactics, no plan B, substitutions far too late in the game and a stubbornness in management to admit to mistakes a drop certain players

No plan b i no yeh hes off doin films an music the selfish mofo still hope he returns to liverpool tho... joking aside he will probably do a better job then shelvey or spearing sign him up adamlfc

If Kenny for whatever reason is no longer LFC manager after the summer, do the eds know what the chances are of Hyypia or Carra getting the job? {Ed002's Note - I would have thought slim at best. I suspect that the owners would seek someone with at least some experience.}

Dont want carra anywhere near the club thanks

Hypia got manager of a German club very recently

Get your fact right hyypia is only in temp charge till the summer and as for the guy who said u dnt want carra near the club get a grip lad u ain't bin sayin that the last 10 yrs or when he fough blood n guts to help win the champions league ye ok he gettin on but you can see all he does when he on the bench or not is read the game he will be a tactician master because he lives n breathes footy give him a few years mark my words

I think the poster is referring to Carrara as a manager. I agree I don't want him in any managerial capacity. Laughable notion.

Just admit defeat and bring back Rafa and let him buy the players he really wanted ie Daniel Alves, simoa. do you remember. He knew about Daniel alves before anyone else plus Vidic. time to let him back in

You need a certain temperament and personality to be manager, not just live and breathe the game. Not sure Carra has that, to be honest.

Question edd how much would eric lamella cost i think thats how you spell his name and do you think we will break the bank for some world class players because of recent form and my opinion is that the players where happy when kd came back and because they were happy it showed when they played now it seems that whatever is going on behind closed doors the players are not happy with kd he haz tried so much to prove his buys can make it rather than thinking of the club and sticking to what works most of our goals at the back end of last season came from maxi and kuyt and nice pass and move footall now its different it seems maxi is not happy it seems kenny is to busy trying to butter up suarez and andy should put andy in reserve team football just untill he gains some sort of confidence and i would play suarez and either bellamy-kuyt or even try downing uP front worth a try might turn out to be a theirry henry haha i just think kenny doing the t shirt thing has lost some respect deep down from the players maby not that 1 thing but a couple of things and it is showing in the performances maby a new manager is needed to revitalise the team i am not sure about kenny he maby a legend to evrybody else but i grew up idolising gerrard owen and fowler. STEMLOCC {Ed002's Note - Lamela will not be for sale - he only moved last summer and has complex ownerships. I am guessing by "world class players" you mean the likes of Cavani, Messi, Goetze, Hazard, Ronaldo etc.. Liverpool will not be signing those players.}

Break the bank..........ffs sake dalglish has spent 110 million!!! thats a lot of money

01 Apr 2012 20:35:05
Have heard Dalglish moving to role in boardroom at end of season

Have heard the singing of a cuckoo this morning.

Eds, in terms of Soldado, its obvious interest is there but can you see him being interested in a move to LFC when Valencia will be in the champions league next year?

Cheers {Ed001's Note - probably not.}

Probably not ? Obviously not!

Think that depends. I was told that Emery would take a Valencia player to his new club in either spain or italy if he is sacked in summer...if the english team he refers to is us then perhaps Soldado is the player he would bring with him.

Nevada

Not even half a chance. He'd have many many other options available.

Hi Eds,
I know you can't really say much but do you think we'll be able to attract top players this summer? Or will us finishing so low in the table put them off? I know i'm not being very specific but i'm very worried that we'll be signing more mediocre players who won't help us get back up the table.
Also do you see Reina leaving in the summer?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - "Top" is very subjective so I can't answer that. I don't know that Reina wishes to leave.}

If he has any sense he will....bleak future ahead for liverpool with gerrard and carragher coming to the end of their careers and and a really poor squad of players around them

I think we will attract good players in the summer, but the very top drawer players will only come when we are in the Champions League again.

Gaz1975.

Reina wouldnt be missed. He is overrated

hello eds, this question is for all who write on this page, we all come on here and voice our distain at the way the team plays and 99% are calling for kk to go. however he and fsg probably dont read this page so wouldnt know about our disgust in him or the team. my point is how many will still go to the next match hoping it gets better? the reason i ask is that if fans boycott matches then the owners would get the message. if fans carry on attending games but only voice their opinions on banter pages nothing is done. hope this makes sense. billy {Ed002's Note - FSG use a company, like many owners, to gather information from various forms of media (including internet forums) in various languages so they do have a good indication of opinion. I know the company that does the work for FSG and they are bright enough to filter out the knee jerk reactions to losses and poor perfomances.}

Utter crap. The only 90% of reds who want Dalglish out are 90% of under 5's and drama queens.

I was there for the Wigan game last week and have never seen anfield emptying with 20mins left in my life (and I was there for the hodgson games) so unless anfield is full of under 5s or drama queens...

Apparently Comolli has been summoned to America so it appears the owners want some answers. As to knee jerl and drama queens, 6 defeats in 7 games is relegation form and only Wolves have worse form in 2012, things need to change in someway as currently this is not good enough.

Diggler

You know someone that's gonna boycott and has a ticket going you let me know!
If we were to drop into League 2 in consecutive seasons I'd still go every week

I was there for the Wigan game and stopped right until the end. The Wigan team got clapped off and the Liverpool team got booed off.

Our current form is shocking. The players don't look bothered at all, they all have the FA cup on their mind it seems.

Today we were toothless upfront as per usual, but very few players looked bothered.

I would keep the manager and show a few players the door.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Gaz1975.

Need to get rid of kenny and get some one in who knows what there doing he should be sacked for his signings alone

Kin ell, imagine if we'd had the inet when shankly first joined the club?! Where we're you all at the start of the season when we were a post or crossbar away from near perfect performances!

3 years ago we were smashing RM in the Champions League! cannot beleive what has happened

Dalglish is liverpool and liverpool is dalglish. Simple, he is a practically a God if he can't do it no one can. That is a fact all you cockney fans that are hangers on from the 80s should go back to supporting cockney clubs.

Boycott my arse, we could be bottom nd id still go to the games nd hope we get better, the whole club knows exactly how we feel and how bad things are, a blind man could i mean come on

I really don't understand what had happened.. at the start of the season were playing the best football I have ever seen in anfield. Although we never won I have been very happy because I sensed that the future was going to be bright.

A few months down the line, we play some of the worst football I've ever seen (comparable to hogson era). I mean before Xmas we were known for hitting the woodwork, we can't even do that anymore. Obviously I don't blame dalglish. A lot of players should look in the mirror because of their attitude rather than play.

The question we should ask is is it dalglish or is it the players that are performing below par?

I was at Anfield on Friday and the staff I spoke to were not particularly complimentary about our Management. It's never a good indication when people inside start, to be honest, simply whinging about how things are going.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that the owners should giving Kenny the choice to either step down at the end of the season or to throw his toys out now and be sacked. His tactics are failing, the attitude of the players is failing and the respect for the great man is failing.

For all the disrespect and mistrust i've seen for FSG, I believe they have seen a lot of their money thrown away on players, most of us fans would have never of bought, not even in hindsight, but when they were first mentioned as rumours. To add poor tactics, with poor players, I can see us finish below teams like Swansea, Everton and Newcastle who have not spent a fraction we have.

People need to look at the whole picture and take off their red tinted kenny glasses, legends are great, but the club is a top 4 club, spending top 4 money and we need someone to put us back where we belong.

Please post in rumours.

Alright lads,

After a good chat with an ex red legend tonight I can only see kenny stepping down. Been informed that unless he wins the FA cup he Himself will hand the reins over. This run is totally unacceptable and I've never called for a manager to step down but by now kenny has got to admit defeat. He has come to our aid when called upon and steadied a sinking ship, however, I do not believe he is the man to guide us. Why sub andy carrol with 10 mins to go and subject the poor lad to direct humiliation? Bad management in my eyes. Can the eds honestly see KK being manager next season?

J96 {Ed001's Note - not with this kind of form no.}

I think Liverpool have to be pragmatic this time, we have to bring someone in that can take us forward, it's been 3 years of 7th place now. The manager has to be chosen without emotional bias, simply the person best suited for the job. I'd hate for someone like Rodgers to get the job, another favour of the month manager just like Roy was, and although Rafa is a hero at this club i think it would be a decision clouded in emotion...similar to the appointment of Daglish. Candidates should be people like AVB, Lowe, Emery, Capello, Ancelotti, Rafa should be considered because of his tremendous record, but i'd like someone like AVB to take the reigns personally. There needs to be communication between the english and spanish speaking contigent so a multilingual manager is preferable. Also someone tactically astute, unlike Kenny who has no tactical knowledge whatsoever and seems to be telling the players to just go out there and "express themselves"

True.Carrol should hav been subbed b4 30minutes.he is nt a play.lol,i have scord 21goals wth 8assists in 17games.in a year or two i want to cme to liverpool.bt hw cn i if u play carrol whn ther is stirlng or morgan?.am jst confused

Bring Rafa back...He has an unfinished business with Ferguson and now he has some kind of money!

3 years ago we were playing CL QF vs RM!

For me, Klopp is easily first choice.

Rather not go back to previous managers, for obvious reasons.

We have to open are eyes the players are not happy with kenny and they are taking it on to the pitch with them the way its going we will not get anywere in the semis needs sorting out now there is no way i want to go to wembly and see them beat we could never live it down sort it out NOW

I have always believed a team should never go back when it comes to managers but i honestly believe if rafa never had the cowboys as owners for last couple of seasons he would have brought us the title as least once

01 Apr 2012 17:38:09
Eds, Unai Emery's contract is up in the summer...
Do you think he could be Liverpool's next manager? {Ed001's Note - I would only be guessing if I gave an answer.}

Think the way we are playing we'd be lucky to sign Dick Emery. (JOKE FOR THE OVER 40'S)

Oooh you are awful........but i like you.

01 Apr 2012 17:07:10
Hi Eds,

Just want your opinion based on the knowledge you all have. Should Kenny go either now or at the end of the season, who would we looking at to replace him? Emery perhaps? AVB? I remember seeing Deschampes mentioned but his team are doing worse than us.

Cheers

GJ {Ed002's Note - See previous answers.}

He should go now

No he shouldn't. How about all of those who are unhappy can go now. Let the rest of us get on with supporting the team without listening to your whining.

The same thing happened with Rafa. He had a bit of a bad spell and everyone wanted him out. Now we have Kenny and people call for him back? I know our current form is far from good, but we're a work in progress. You CANNOT expect CL overnight. Look at the way City took a couple of Seasons to become a top club. Look at the way Tottenham took a couple of Seasons to become a top club. With Kenny, or with a different Manager, it's going to take us a while to become an amazing club again. We need to give Kenny time. We're in Europe next Season too, which is a chance to impress some good players. I also read that Macca said we're AIMING for 5 players this Summer? That can only be good news. Plus, we still have the Season to finish, which means we should hopefully finish a bit higher and we've got the FA Cup to go. Come on red men! YWNA.

Ell.

He should go now, anybody who can't see there is a problem, either is blindly loyal or hasn't a clue about football. The results haven't been good (that's being kind and the displays have been lifeless (kind again).

Kenny has been a catalyst in this whole Suarez affair, that dragged the club through the mire and damaged future financial deals on the clubs behalf. He's spent 75 million pounds on Carroll, Henderson and Downing, which is criminal. Our football style is innane beyond belief, basically every team in the premiership knows we play a wide 442, with overlapping wingers / wingbacks crossing from the byline to a striker that cannot score. Our tactics are 25 years out of date.....how can Daglish a man thats been sacked as Newcastle manager, sacked as Celtic manager take the reigns at a top premiership club after 12 years of inactivity. We need some sense now because it seems most liverpool fans have lost theres. Daglish was never right to return, the warning signs were plain to see in pre season. How can people seriously want Kenny to stay? what do you see that everyone else does not.

The results have been bad. Simple as that. I could use stronger language but it wouldn't get past the mods.

The players that have been brought in during the summer, apart from Enrique, have took the team backwards. Our frontline isn't firing at all. Our midfield looks tired and sluggish.

Our only strong point has been our defence.

Keep the manager and sort the players out. Get rid of Carroll, Adam and Downing. Those 3 have done nothing in a red shirt at all. Give Henderson another season as I think he will come good.

As for who to bring in, well that's another debate.

Gaz1975

Pack it in..AVB...seriously??

So called fans calling for dalglish's head should be ashamed.....you feckless idiots would probably boo shankly given half the chance......how times have changed.....King Kenny through Thick and Thin! God knows it aint no scouser making them ludicrous comments

God help us if Didier Deschamps takes over. He's currently managing a mid-table French team. Hardly an outsatnding CV is it?

The thing is kenny is not rafa... rafa was arrogant and kept on rotating players BUT he was a tactical genius. Kenny is just as arrogant but is not a genius in any way. The only thing he could handle was players and reporters.

I am not saying he's doing rubbish now so get rid of him. But i always knew he wouldn't be able to handle the modern game and I think most people knew that. Everyone just kinda hoped he could spur the players on to success, but obviously this didn't work.

If he is willing to step down after the season I think it will do good for everyone, especially if he wins the FA cup as he will leave as a hero.

I didn't hear anyone complaining last season when he invigorated the team. Or at the start of this season when we were dominating teams and playing fantastic football. Dalglish did that.

Now all of a sudden, he's the wrong man. What total garbage!

Our problem isn't the manager and it's not the tactics. It's the fact that we're having trouble scoring and the lack of confidence it's caused throughout the team. That's not the managers fault.

At the end of last season, Dalglish publically expressed his doubts as to whether the transfer policy would work.m He said that it might take a few years to bear fruit. That's proving to be the case.

So for all of you wannabe chavs who think we should change the manager every season, blame the players for not scoring, blame Commoli for his recommendations and blame FSG for their transfer policy but don't blame Dalglish who is still doing a fantastic job.

What I have been told by a friend within the madrid hierarchy who was told by his opposite number at the Mestalla...

Unai Emery is 50/50 at whether he will still be Valencia coach next year. The board there are not entirely happy with his handling of certain aspects of the team, and never one to shy away from firing a manager may well do just that at the end of the season.

When asked (privately of course) whether he would go straight back into management should he be relieved of his position in Valencia, Emery replied yes and said an italian team and an english team are interested but didnt say which. He said if he were to manage either team then he would want the funds to bring a player with him from Valencia.

It might not be 100% accurate information but my friend has supplied me with plenty of info about Madrid before and is usually right.

Nevada

Is he any relation to dick emery

Emery will not be at valencia next season, that is the general consensus in spain. id like him or avb, look how our last ex valencia manager fared

What are Madrid info has he mentioned out of interest?

maka

The info he gave was regarding pedro leon and sergio canales when they were both rumoured for liverpool. I posted it saying that Canales had no interest in EPL, and that Madrid would let Leon go (this was at a time when he still played for Mourinho before they fell out), also about Alonso being available two summer transfer windows ago and him willing to come back but we were not interested. Also said Benzema wouldnt be coming and that Higuain is only (slightly) interested in going to chelsea in england.

Theres a lot more that he has given me in the last year but I cant be bothered to write it all. I used to post under a different name and often shared madrid info and serie a info as I have some friends in those circles.

Nevada

Your friend, Guillem Balague? you're so in the know mate.

To ed 2 what is ur thoughts on kenny pls? {Ed002's Note - I expect he will see out the season in charge. Then, as part of a review on the way forward with the board and owners, will perhaps agree mutually to take a different role as part of a management shake up that will see someone new arrive as first team coach. This has been my view all along. I think he was absolutely the right choice on a temporary basis after the departure of Roy Hodgson, but a terrible choice by the owners and board on a permanent basis. They let their emotional side get ahold and followed the wishes of the fans. Really the club needed to be looking for a complete change after the problems with previous owners - and the result is now a major financial hiccup. And the owners are well aware of the financial implications.}

Ed 002 is spot on but the owners had no option after he did well fans would have being crazy, in hindsight may be FSG should have stuck with Roy or appointed someone else as the caretaker so they are not in position, Downing Carroll Adam Hendo 80m we are screwed and probably will have to pay Kenny too

Some tripe here sorry. No big name manager wanted the job. NESV hadnt commited any cash to the rebuild. Hodgson was a cancer at the club. Comolli meddles, hasnt got the ability and is basically helping NESV do financial trickery( NOT wizardry btw)

I didnt want Kenny as manager, even tho he's one of our greatest idols. I wanted Rafa. But Rafa doesn want the same s**t as before- as he's said in interviews.

Kenny cant work miracles if he's being hassled into buying lower wage players and selling higher wage ones, just so NESV can keep it all at no net spend. {Ed002's Note - You have no grasp of teh finances. Who do you think is picking uip the tab for the losses the club are incurring? Who is paying the wages of Cole, Aquilani and Poulsen? Who paid to remove Degan, El Zhar et al?}

01 Apr 2012 16:32:48
Rafa Benitez agreed to come back as manager in the summer

I really hope this is true.
If not, I would love the swansea manager to be given a chance

Hopefully.
Shanio1

No he hasnt

Dont we all wish that - We are a shamble at the moment , Dalglish will always be a legend but not for the modern football times sorry

The more I watch us over these last 2 seasons the more I feel Rafa was over achieving. Move King Kenny upstairs and get Rafa back in

Haha course , eds? {Ed002's Note - I see the question mark but fail to see the question.}

I think Emery has a good chance of coming to Anfield.

Nevada

I would love Liverpool to bring Rafa back ;)

Disney!

What are the chances of Rafa returning eds if Kenny leaves? And if they are not so great, why? {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

I keep saying that we over achieved with Rafa and the expenditure at that time compared to MU and Chelsea. Whilst he is free we should politely ask him back. He had one bad season and got sacked. He continually fought for the club against the two clowns in charge. we ain't going to get anyone better lets face it

I would like to see rafa back because he was always under the shadow that the team that he won the 5th cup with was houllier's team and he was not given the money to build the team he wanted. KK back to the youth academy please. Gladster.

How fickle football fans are ! it wasnt long ago everybody was slating rafa to death. we all know we should never go back with an old flame, but we do, even if its a quick bunk up or a " lets try again " it always ends badly. the same applies here, kenny is, was and always will be a legend at this club but he should have only been given the steadying the ship job until a more permanant solution was found, he has spent alot of money and only found 2 gems in suarez and enrique the rest has been wasted, he should be given 1 last huraaa in the cup the step down, lets hope he signs off with 2 domestic cups

Rafa should never have gone i know he was pushed but he was definitely more tactically astute than kenny, i honestly believe that if he was still in post we would have been in the top four now, i know he had some bad buys but look at the players he attracted to the club,alonso, mascherano, torres, reina, kuyt all managers make errors of judgement even mourinho but i'd still have him back.

Even though i think rafa did a great job with liverpool, I think we need to start looking forward not back and have fresh start

Rafa is seriously disliked by certain sectors of the media, he is a great tactical manager and should not have left. Has he made mistakes yes, who hasn't. But he was without doubt a fantastic manager. We would be lucky to have him back. If he were to come back it would not be a suprise if the media run up a negative frenzy. He loves liverpool, he knows liverpool and when you look at the current realistic options no one comes close to his calibre. He would be the best short-term, mid-term and long-term option. FSG hopefully you make the right choice in the summer.

01 Apr 2012 16:18:00
hell why hasnt anyone bought ben arfa yet? {Ed002's Note - Newcastle bought him.}

I remember a lot of fans wanted him before he went on loan to Newcastle. But a lot said he was too temperamental to handle. I couldn't care less we need to start taking chances with these 'sort' of players. I thought that was one of the many points of the moneyball scheme. {Ed002's Note - Newcastle have dealt with him very well indeed and there were many, many serious issues and problems in Marseille. It was the best possible move for Ben Arfa.}

01 Apr 2012 14:38:00
Lakov tekaz our new signing. Eds what kind of player he is? According to his price he looks a good young star? {Ed002's Note - Enigmatic, almost eclectic.}

He's worse than Carroll from what I have seen

Haha
nZL_red

He lacks tekkers i think

Are you really sure he is worst that carroll?
He might give that balance to our side, he should be given the # 10 shirt

Never mind him we've just bought lackov paze and a Donkey they only cost 35 and 20 million.

Is it true eds did we sing him or is it paper talk ? {Ed002's Note - I am not even sure if it has made the papers yet.}

Who is this player? never heard of him.
tbf dont like the sound of others opinions.
bulford-widnes ozy

Lol wodda twit i am. jus got the joke. touchet
bulford- widnes ozy

Just look at the "club" he plays for, its called "FC Kanotvin". Come on people, this is a joke!!.

FC Kanotvin = FC Can Not Win. Lmao, its like this is an April Fools joke but with reality in it coz currently we cant win a damm game!!, so much so that even being 5-0 up against a team can be risky as the opposition are bound to make it 6-5 in the end...Truthfully speaking, i believe if Kenny Goes, we will see a MASSIVE difference in LFC. I wish AVB was our manager, i feel his style of coaching was more suited to us than Chelsea. If he was given that 100M, i would atleast see Muniain, Mata and maybe Soldado or a sneaky sneaky bid for Pato being made as he was having issues at the time with AC Milan...In Kenny we are doomed for Relegation.

Btw, he just showed us why is clueless by subbing Carroll. How bad must the poor lad have felt that he was booed by his own hometown fans and that also when his current team were losing. If it was a real manager, he would have subbed off a person like Spearing and bought on Maxi Rodriguez. Btw, Kenny also doesnt think that Coates is up for it!. Kenny, the dude plays Uruguay regularly. Even Phil Jones doesnt play regularly for England yet he plays almost everytime for Mans**tter Utd. If you want to see the best in players who are young then freaking give them a run. Neymar made the Santos team when he must have been only 16-17 years of age!!. Why cant Morgan, Sterling and Suso be given that same previlage. Please dont tell me about the physicality crap coz that goes right out of the window when you look at Carroll. He is supposed to be a monster in the air, but how Rafael who is half of Carroll is able to beat him in the air is amazing....long story short, please play the guys from the academy, even though they are 17-18. Joao is 19, when do u plan to play him?? 38???... {Ed002's Note - You seem to be very angry about the youth. They'll be ready in a couple of years.}

What a reactionary person this guy in replies is. Carroll this, Sterling that, buy Muniain (You hadn't heard of him a week ago) or any other flavour of the month. Go support city you tosser.

David

Are we monitoring Nelson Oliveira eds? Looks a tidy prospect. I presume Benfica would slap a huge fee on him.
The Gooch. {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

01 Apr 2012 12:18:34
Are the Ramirez rumours true that we will buy him this weekend ? Roger and Out {Ed002's Note - It was an April Fool prank I think Roger.}

01 Apr 2012 12:16:35
I know the Eds have said that japanese players would only be bought for their ability and not their marketing potential, but is there a good chance we could buy a Chinese player for marketing especially because of Standard Chartered and the size of the potential market. What do you think of the Chinese then Ed? {Ed002's Note - Small but tasty.}

01 Apr 2012 12:07:59
The russian wonder kid that "have sign" is a april fools joke.... come on people.

Lack of Teckers, pretty easy to spot!

-Shane.

Love the disagrees on this!

01 Apr 2012 11:52:28
Liverpool have agreed a deal with semi-professional Russian outfit, FK Kanotvin, to bring their young teen sensation Lakov Tekaz to Anfield. It is believed that a host of European clubs were scouting the 18-year-old who has scored 56 goals in 18 appearances at semi professional level.

Doesn't sound right to be honest. This true Ed's?

Cheers,
Stone YNWA. {Ed002's Note - This is the kid with the tattoo of Bamboo Harvester on his back - what seems wrong with it?}

Happy April 1st! Singred

Lakov Tekaz as in Lack of Teckers a good April Fools

Ive also heard the sultan will immediately fund the £100m purchase of new brazilian wonder kid Lipra Loof....this boy can play in all positions including goalkeeper and has racked up 48 goals in 6 games. Mark my words this time next year we will be the envy of the world

Liverpool have agreed a deal with semi-professional Russian outfit, FK Kanotvin, to bring their young teen sensation Lakov Tekaz to Anfield. Tekaz, who has been hailed as the new Lionel Messi, will complete his reported £2.5M move subject to a medical and work permit.
"It was an offer I couldn't turn down" said Tekaz.
"To play for a club like Liverpool is a dream come true. They very much play to my style of football and I believe I have what it takes to contribute to their playing style.
"If you would have told me a year ago I would become a professional footballer I would have laughed, but today is one of the proudest days of my life and I hope to repay the faith shown in me by Liverpool Football Club.
"Of course, there were other clubs interested, but as soon as I heard Liverpool's name I knew where I wanted to go"

Hi eds who is the mystery club gaston ramirez has had an offer from and is it liverpool {Ed002's Note - Offers have to be made to the club holding the player's registration and not the player. As I have said previously Gaston Ramirez has been watched by Liverpool but I still remain unsure as to how strong the interest is from the club. This all dates back to before the January window and if the club were that interested then he was available in January for about 15M euro plus a signing on fee - but Liverpool did not follow up on their initial enquiry. However, Ramirez will move in the summer with interest being shown by Napoli, Inter Milan, Palermo and Juventus, who have made a firm offer. Unsubstantiated rumours suggest Manchester United, Manchester City, Spurs, Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested. Sevilla were interested but I understand that Ramirez has no interest in such a move. At present, Napoli are very much favourites for his signature. Discussions have now taken place between Bologna and Napoli - adding to discussions that have taken place with Juventus. And Napoli are very much favourites for his signature at this time. His agent remains as talkative as ever but as of March 30 there has been no offer to Bologna for the player from any English club - and this has been confirmed by his club, and now his agent. However, there is no reason to assume Liverpool will not make a move for Ramirez.}

Ed kopsource quoat his agent saying "there is only one concrete offer from england for the player" {Ed002's Note - So? Did you read what else he said - that no offer had yet been made to Bologna? You may want to read yesterday's posts where I have explained that Bologna has made it clear that the one firm offer for the player was from Juventus in January. However, they are also in discussions with Napoli now. It was said that there had been no firm offer made to Bologna from any English club and that Betancourt is not authorised to negotiate any deal for the player. This is a change in tact from January where Bologna gave permission for Betancourt to negotiate any deal outside of Italy for a figure of 15M euros. Betancourt was seeking a significant signing on fee in addition to the fee to be paid to Bologna. It has been suggested that Manchester City may have made an approach through a third party - but there is no confirmation of this right now.}

According to what I know, Liverpool will be eyeing quality players who are not in the champions league to improve them. Having said that , Maxi, Kuyt,Joe Cole,Aquilani,Pacheco, Shelvey will be sold. our transfer TARGETS are : Iker Munian, Nathan Redmond, Edinson Cavani (if Napoli doesnt get Champions league), Mauro Zarate (cover for Suarez)and newcastle's Hatem Ben Arfa.Also mentioned is David Texeira from FC Gronigen. For defensive cover Liverpool are still trying to lure Seydou Keita from Barcelona.may use Steven Gerrard as our holding midfielder with Henderson taking over in the AMC role if Keita doesnt come. And lastly, Liverpool are CONSIDERING re-signing back Xabi Alonso. Thats what i know. In any case, i trust my source because it makes sense - most of these players bar Keita are not playing in the champions league, and Mauro Zarate is always benched.

Shelvey will be sold? and what's the total cost of munian and cavani?

And then your alarm clock rang...

Makes sense

I don't think that shelvey will be sold he is the next gerrard i dont think cavani will come to us even tho i would love him to come and play for us the only chance of him coming is suarez or coates telling him to come

Today's midfield performance is the reason why we need keita.
