Out of these four players, which one player is most likely to join LFC in the future based on previous and possibly current interest?

Mario G?ɬ?tze, Christian Eriksen, Marko Marin or Erik Lamela.

Maxi is almost certainly off in Jan, very unhappy about the lack of game time that he feels he deserves. Comolli looking for a replacement.

Is it our new goal in life to piss off and get rid of every good player we have by not playing them and playing lesser players instead?

oh, and then of course we can say "well, he didn't want to be here..."

Maxi is better than Downing. End of. He is also better than Henderson. End of. He is also good friends with Suarez. If you alienate Maxi and he leaves, you're pissing off our best player. This approach by Comolli/FSG/Kenny/whoever it is is really starting to look weird, we're shooting ourselves in the foot.

I kinda agree, i like maxi, he works well with suarez, both similar players. they seem to have a good understanding when they atleast have some game time together. i dont think downing and henderson should be played on each wing either, give henderson lucas's role and give maxi and bellamy more game time, downing shouldnt be starting every game just because of his price tag. downing+henderson, could of bought world class, maybe henderson will be one day but we need it now

Maxi isn't as good as Downing or Henderson. And you can't keep players to keep others happy. Anyway, how old do you think Suarez is? Will he miss his fwiend? Aaah. If he doesn't like it because a bit part player is sold then he can go as well. The club is better than that.

I dissagree with the first comment maxi us not better than downing or henderson he had 2 or 3 ok games were he scored a few goals and thats it and u say hes like suarez, he stands there out wide and does nothing hes the invisable man and has no creativity

I suspect he was told over the summer he wasn't part of plans, but stayed to leave on his terms. So I doubt he is suddenly "very unhappy"; he must have known the score.

Downing needs to prove that he is better than Maxi. Otherwise Maxi needs to play.

Eden hazard says he will leave lille at the end of the summer according to BBC gossip column. Also according to the gossip column Raheem Stirling and Jon Flanagan will go to Bolton on loan in January.

I think it's too early for sterling to go out on loan.

I'm sure Hazard will be leaving Lille in the summer, but he won't be arriving at Anfield. Real Madrid is the most likely destination. Wish our fans would forget about signing him, it just won't happen.

Flanners should have gone on loan to Bolton in the summer. He's have had game time due to Tyrone Mears' broken leg.

So we're going to be loaning him out to them as Mears is coming back to fitness?

Definitely signing? Yes, but not for liverpool, if he comes to england their are probably four clubs better placed for his signature

Man united, success
Man city, wages
Chelsea, little bit of both, but he wouldn't go there as they turned him down once, so possibly take them out of the equation?
Spurs, team he supports

It's amazing how many players who are Spurs fans and who may sign for them. Is this a scenario like Connor Wickham who was shown around the Lane and the Lodge and who was just about to sign on the dotted line? Liverpool have a better chance of landing him than Spurs imo.

some of you eds said earlier that we have closely monitored BVB. But was it any particular player because Im really a fan of Hummels and Goetze and would love them here. Any chance for a summer move?

{Ed002's Note - Summer is a long way off but Hummels is perhaps an option but there is strong interest from Italy (Inter and Juventus) and there will no doubt be interest from elsewhere should he become available in the summer. As for Goetze, Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona have already been knocked back by his club and the player himself has made it abundantly clear that he wants to stay at Dortmund. Real Madrid may be able to persuade him to move. He has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There is also interest also from AC Milan - and I suspect that they are shifting their interest in Ganso to Goetze due to persisting non-EU quota issues. There may be some unpublisized intered from elsewhere coming up soon.}

Forget Hummels and Goetze for now. Bring in Kagawa in January.

Hi Ed's ive seen Moussa Sissoko play a few times, I really like the look of him, I feel he is the player we are missing at the moment, (When Stevie is injured). Are we likely to move for him in the summer, or in January, also could you estimate how much he would cost ;)

Ed what is this luuk de jong fella like is he good enough for liiverpool and is there a better player we could sign {Ed002's Note - Personally a move for Park Chu Young in the summer would have been the option I would have suggested. However, Luuk De Jong is a candidate right now. He has been performing well recently and would give decent options to the team.}

How is Cole getting on in France ed? What is the likely-hood of him making the move permanent in January? Would we make a profit on him?
Cheers, Lee. {Ed002's Note - Cole is dong very well in France and Lille are very happy with him. There is a good chance that he could make his transfer permanent, but probably at the end of the year. Liverpool will certainly not be making a profit on him.}

He cost nothing ? {Ed002's Note - Whilst there was no transfer fee the equivalent was paid as a signing on fee spread over the length of his contract. If he leaves that needs to be paid off and a deal reached over bonuses. Additionally Liverpool are continuing to pay a proportion of his wages whilst he is at Lille.}

Ed, u mean cole could leave at the end of year or end of season. Just out of curiosity, how much could we get from his sale.

Disregarding the fact that players have had to be paid off etc compared to the summer of 2010, what is the current wage bill actually at? My guess is it has been decreased signifcantly as the squad is far more compact. There must be room for a 160k a week Tevez punt.

That 160g's a week punt that you speak of would be more like 200 and that would smash our current wage structure which would then make stevie, reina, suarez etc feel that they too should be on that sort of money. The rest of the squad would then feel that they would be able to squeeze a little more out of the club. So after all that we would be lucky if it only cost us an extra 500g's a week after our little punt. In short, you sir are a fantasist. (too mean??)

How do u think the rest of the team would feel if that sulking little sh*t strolls in on over twice their wages?

are liverpool favorites to sign marko marin or can we sign him soon {Ed002's Note - AC Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Napoli, Juventus and Roma have all shown an interest in Marko Marin in the past and I hear that Arsenal are interested at the moment. Much will depend on whether or not Liverpool make the Champions League as to whether he is a viable option or not; and the summer is a considerable distance away at present. Perhaps Italy is the most likely destination, and I understand his preferred destination.}

Ed, spurs were very close to signing him during the summer, the player himself expressed a desired wish to join, but the modric situation put pay to that move plus a couple of others, but now again according to reports harry its ready to try and bring the player over as if rumoured he is willing to listen to offers for lennon!

Eds quick q about hazard.... I know we won't sign him but if he's so good why aren't the top teams pushing hard for him? I thought I read somewhere his attitude stinks us that the reason? {Ed002's Note - Unless an extraordinary bid is made in January, Eden Hazzard will not be available to the summer. Real Madrid or Barcelona is his preferred destination. PSG, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are all interested to one degree or another. I said over the summer that I would not be surprised to see Manchester United through their hat in to the ring with Hazard as well. I don't see Hazard moving to Liverpool, Juventus or Arsenal for that matter. Chelsea have maintained a long-term interest but one particularly influential party at the club sees the player as having an attitude problem.}

Why on people keep saying sissoko from toulouse is the new Gerrard, they are not like for like in terms of quality. Gerrard in his prime was a high energy box to box attacking mid with excellent passing both long and short, and an amazing long shot sissoko just has lots of stamina. He is a poor Gerrard not good enough in my opinion.

{Ed002's Note - Nobody should be saying "he is the new Gerrard" and perhaps you are misunderstanding matters. Toulouse's Moussa Sissoko is a fine player and has attracted interest from Lyon, Roma, Genoa, Juventus, Liverpool and probably Napoli. Arsenal and Milan's previous interest waned over the summer. Damien Comolli let Sissoko's agent know that Liverpool see his man as the ideal long-term replacement for Steven Gerrard but for some reason Liverpool failed to make the final push in the summer. Sissoko is available but both Roma and Lyon appear to have the edge over other interested clubs and as far as I know at the moment Liverpool have yet to follow up their previous interest.}

I think he would be a excellent addition to the defensive unit,although we did look more solid on sat night with DA and MS,but then again WBA offered nothing in attack
